Today (7/3/2023). My son-in-law had to use my car. He parked in a parking garage in downtown ***********, when he was ready to head back to our house, the car wouldn't start. I told him to call Allstate Motor Club assistance number and gave him my member number. The assistance came quickly and gave him a jump start. Allstate Motor Club would not honor my membership because neither my wife (********) or I were not in the car. My son-in-law had to charge the fee on his own credit card. We have been members of Allstate Motor Club for many years and were never told. this. I immediately cancelled my membership and I want a full refund (as I just paid it within the last couple of weeks). I very upset, they should have paid for the service call. Allstate Motor Club's membership is worthless and they should be held accountable for this injustice.Business Response

Allstate motor club sent tow truck driver to tow my vehicle but upon arriving my information was mixed up with another customer whom had a balance with the dealer therefore this matter had to be straightened out in mean time the tow truck driver left without towing my car now I am out of hundreds of dollars and no car now when I initially call A employee of the company told me that I had to pay again and I could not get another tow unless I paid again nothing about A refund or anything Well i called the contractor that contracted the towing service and he informed me that he had not been paid so why would i have to pay again per ********************* ******* why was I going to be charged again when no one was paid at all I spoke to the supervisor ******* and I was informed that I would get A refund when my bank clears the debit **** card good luck with that on A holiday weekendBusiness Response

6/22/23 i filed a claim for assistance with empty gas tank while stuck in the middle of a busy intersection, I was told it would be an hour before arrival. I was called over an hour later by the provider that they were over 30 mins out. This is the second time I've needed assistance, called for help and had an extended wait to get my vehicle to a safe place. Why am I paying for roadside assistance if I have to pay again for service. Renewed two Allstate Motorclub Policies early April of this year. Since then, have been trying to get our new updated motorclub ID cards. I have called, sent letters, on a weekly basis and still no card. Everytime I call, I am given a different reason why I don't have the cards. On two occasions I received the Wrong cards. On 16 June 23, ******** from Allstate Motorclub called me. However, the only thing she said was to verify my policy number. She then stated someone from Allstate Motorclub will call me back on 19 June 23. To date, have not heard from Allstate Motorclub.My case is not resolved because I still don't have my new Id cards and no one has called me to tell me anything about my ID cards. All I want is my new id motorclub cards. Been requesting them since April.

I am rejecting this response because: every single time I contact Allstate Motorclub I am told a completely different reason why I don't have my new id motorclub cards. Just two weeks ago, I was told Allstate Motorclub only requested my cards Once and that was back in April. Now I'm being told there has been a problem with the system since May and it won't be fixed until 6 July and then it will take 10 to 14 days after that for delivery. The problem is at this point, I don't know what information is real. This has been going on since April.

I locked my keys in my vehicle at home. I have Allstate Towing Membership. I went on the Allstate App and asked for service. My membership card was in my car. My membership number is#XXXXX3230 and Allstate's number is ************* . When the tow guy got there I wanted to give him my membership number but he told me that Allstate took care of it. I told him I didn't want my credit card charged because I have a membership and he told me it wouldn't and it would be taken care of by Allstate. He should have taken my membership number because my credit card was still charged.I called Allstate numerous times and they told me it probably would fall off from Pending status. But it didn't. I have been with the Motor Club for years and shouldn't have to pay for the service when I have a membership. I disputed the charge with my ************* I want Allstate Motor Club to use my membership to pay for this and not my Credit Card.Business Response

Hello I requested a roadside service from Allstate on the 28th of may and paid $92 even though iam a member with their Allstate roadside ,5 hours later they told me that Allstates cannot find a provider for me and assured me that I will get my $92 refunded asap within 24 to 48 hours so I waited 48 hours and their was no refund so I called them for 5 days straight spoke to 5 different employees and with 5 different answer I was in the phone with guy name sayed he literally just kept telling lies upon lies I asked for the supervisor he told me he will hang up on me and he did just that I called back then a lady name ***** answered she was loud almost screaming with different lies upon lies for 2 hours imagine I again asked for supervisor she put me on hold and transferred me to supposedly the supervisor and the employee name ******* or something who I spoke to earlier who told u cannot speak to a supervisor pretended to be the supervisor and actually told me his name, how stupid I told him I just spoke to you and you ou said I cant speak to a supervisor and know you telling me you are the supervisor he denied he ever spoke to me when yesterday the 1st of June when I called back after sayed hanged up on he was the one I spoke to so from the service request in the 28th of may to today June secound I still havent got my refund nor the roadside assistance and literally all they did was just lie told gave me excuses and no refund iam planning filing a lawsuit if iam not refunded today already spoke to my attorney already thanks ,Allstate we are in bad handsBusiness Response

On May 4th, 2023, my car stalled and needed to be towed to a auto repair shop to be looked at. I called Allstate Motor Club *************) to get a tow. I asked if I was still a member because I hadn't used their services in years. I was told that I was a member, and I had to pay $176.48 in order to get a tow, after which someone would call me back to set up the tow. I charged the $176.48, and then waited for the call. When I got the call I was told that before they'd send a tow, I would have to pay another $176.48. Even though I was already charged by the original call (to Allstate), I paid with my credit card. (This was a stressful time, and we needed to get our car repaired.)When the tow came, I didn't get a receipt, so I called Allstate. I was sent from department to department. Turns out that I was lied to by the Allstate representative. I am not a member. I learned this when calling for a receipt. I did learn that Allstate uses SFM RoadSide Assistance (SFM*ROADSIDE ASSIST ************ IL74357606), and it was SFM that charged ** for the tow. The local tow company that picked up the car was Street Force Towing. When I called for a receipt, *********************, the proprietor, told me he could not give us a receipt. He had only been given an invoice, and hadn't been paid by Allstate.If I was only charged once, I would like a receipt for $176.48 for the towing charge, so my current insurance, State Farm, will reimburse me. Neither Allstate, nor SFM Roadside Assistance would give me a receipt. If I was charged twice, then I would like a refund for $176.48, as well as, a receipt for $176.48 that clearly states the date, the cost, and where my car was towed from and to where it was towed to including the mileage of that trip.I would also like this to NOT happen to anyone else. If I was told the truth, I would have not had to go through this frustration.I also wonder if due to the fact that I am a women of 80 years that I was taken advantage of.Business Response

Approximately two days ago, I signed up for Allstate Roadside Assistance and had a very ignorant and uneducated representative who had no clue what he was doing. He said that I would receive two payments on my credit card of $39.50, one in May and the other in November. My membership No. Is 310 567 011. I just checked my Chase *********** credit card and they are charging $82 which is not acceptable. I tried to call and cancel and after waiting an inordinate amount of time on the line I finally was told that the loyalty department was closed. I do not want to do business with Allstate motor club and I demand they refund my credit card immediately because they obviously do not have Fair business practices and I don't want to do business with them.Business Response
