1 starThis dealership is too busy to provide quality customer service. I had to bring my *** in to address a recall involving a problem that could cause the car to catch fire. They delayed setting up an appointment because it addressed a recall. By the time I got my car in, I was addressed rudely by the service department. They demanded to see an ID to look at my car. The 4 hour appointment was a waste of time because they didn't have the necessary part even though *** had contacted me to have the repair done. I received a text alerting me to pick up the car. Buried in the text was the news that the repair was not done to the missing part. When I picked up my car, no one communicated the missing part or talked about setting up another appointment. I only realized the lack of work done when I got another text about the part being available. They have little incentive to provide quality customer service because they are so busy.Review fromCharles J

1 starDO NOT GO! I was there today 1/5/2024. One of the craziest experiences Ive ever had trying to purchase a car. I came in and the salesperson (who was polite by the way) showed me some cars and we tried some cars out and after liking one, we sat down and we discussed numbers. The salesperson assumed I was going to finance. We discussed numbers for a 2021 ****** that was priced at 17k and with Taxes was going to be 20k. After negotiation with him along with the finance person named ***, we agreed to pay $18,970.03 and it would come with a full tank of gas and 2 key fobs. After I shook hands with *** on the deal, I then said I would like to pay cash. And THATS when everything changed. They began to get upset and claimed that they would lose money on the sale because they assumed I would finance. They tried to tell me that I should get my credit ran, take the loan out and then just pay it all off and they promised not to tell the bank that they know that. I told them thats shady business and I wont go that route. They then tell me that had they known I was going to pay cash, that they would have added more warranties and other options which then they tried to sell me on and I declined. The sales person leaves along with ***. The salesperson then comes back and says they cant sell me the car because I wouldnt finance with them. For a dealership that prides themselves on having such resourceful banks to get auto financing from, it seems quite shady that they REFUSE to sell a car for a price theyve given because we wouldnt use them to finance, ESPECIALLY when they dont claim in house Financing. The picture attached is a copy of the form of numbers STAY FAR AWAY!Review fromAllison H

1 starCaution before buying from Napleton **************:My husband and I purchased a 2020 Kia ******* from Napleton ***************** May. The ******* was in our budget ($18,000), had one owner, no accidents, and ****** miles on it. The car was not Certified Pre-Owned but we could not afford additional costs to add this feature. Just six months later, the oil and engine light came on and ************ told us that the oil pump broke and the engine would need replaced. They said there was a recall on this and we took it back to Napleton. The dealership told us that while other year models of the ******* were recalled for this issue, ours was not on the list and there was nothing they could do. Even though our cars engine was a 2.4L Theta II GDI, and that was the exact engine in the other *******s that were on recall, we were told by both dealership and corporate **** our exact years model was not on their recall list. Napleton told us it would cost $11,000 to replace the engine on an $18,000 car.We called the *** ***********************, who gave us the same information. We were shocked to buy a car that would need massive work 6 months after purchase but he said there was nothing that could be done. He reminded us it was our fault for not purchasing an additional warranty. My husband asked him how he could stand behind selling a car that would break down so quickly after a sale on a car that was only 3 years old but he had no response to this. **** offered an option to trade in our vehicle and move into another vehicle with help from the dealership. When we came in to work out this deal, we never saw **** and the deal that was offered was significantly more expensive than what **** had told us over the phone. We were not able to afford the deal any more than we could the $11,000 to fix the engine. We hope to save others from making the same mistake we did. Please do extensive research and use caution when purchasing a car from Napleton **************.Review fromDerek O

2 starsI was sold an extended warranty by the company. Little did I know there was a clause put in by them that I can only use them for any repair. I asked them directly at the time If I could use any repair shop and they said yes. Now i have to wait over a week before I can get the Van fixed. As a side not the lady in the front office was nice, but she was not sure how to help with this situation. Still waiting on a call back from the **Review fromMichael M

1 starI was sold an ************** Maintenance package by this dealer that I was told would cover all the services I would need for the next 3 years for $2195. I thought it was a bit they told me that this would definitely save money over that time with services. I later found out it was for oil changes only and the value of an oil change was about $175 at the time of purchase. The total value of this contract should have been about $500. They offered some store credit but I no longer live near the dealer. Subsequent calls and emails to the dealer have gone unanswered and not returned. This is outright fraud and this dealership should have their license revoked.Review fromJoseph H

1 starI went to Ed ********************** ***** ******** dealership on November 17, 2023 to test drive 2019 Audi A6 with ****** mile. I like the car so salesmen **** and I went back and forth about price because I didnt want my payment to be over $600.00. We came to agreement of $600 I then ask **** about warranty he said **** will cover that in finance I told him in dont want my monthly payments to go up he assured me with the warranty the payments will either be $600 or less then $600. During the walk to ***** office **** hands me a gift certificate for alarm system. **** told me the alarm system was the rims and catalytic converter. During the time spend with **** she covered the signs of documents for loan and other things that came with the car such as two oil changes, one tire rotation, car alarm system I told **** wait I have to pay for that **** never told me that the alarm how much is it **** said $1000I asked for **** to come to **** office . When **** arrived to **** office I said why didnt you tell me I had to pay for this alarm and what the alarm do if the rims and catalytic converter get stolen, anyway, **** said they will replace everything for free. She said my total payments was $725.00 a month I said it that possible she the warranties. ***** care its $5000.00 plus alarm. **** also told me I had 14 day to decide if I want to keep the vehicle. Fast forward I told ****** will come pick up the car tomorrow morning. Saturday morning I went back pick up the car, while driving home a light kept coming on as if something was near the vehicle. When I arrived home I got out and walked around the car and notice they put the license plate on the right front side of bumper, which was also blocked in the sensor. I called **** immediately and asked him why would was you put the license plate on the side of the bumper and **** replied to me that was the only place to put it. I told **** the plate is blocking the sensor and now theres two holes on the side of the bumper. Part1Review fromLuwana W

1 starI bought a 2017 Maserati,LeVante back in 2020 at Napleton, Maserati, in **********.When I bought the *** I also paid cash for the extend warranty. I had to used the warranty for the first time in May 2023 when I arrive at the dealership I was told that I did not have. Warranty of to my surprise I was like purchase one. Long story short the company Performance First, reject my policy back in May of 2020 because Maserati never send over the paperwork and they also back my money which I never received. I had called several times asking where is extended warranty policy I was told by their financial department it should be coming well that never happened. They put me in another policy nothing compare to what i had. This policy is trash I have to paid for everything! This dealership is a big Scam I have been lied to from day one by everyone in this dealership. I am exhausted of this place I have called Maserati, Head quarters about this. I will never purchase another Maserati! More I can say about my experience with dealership. Some one really need to do something about this dealership them Scamming people and lying to people is not acceptable. I want my money back!Review fromDANIEL L

1 star**** and ********, If I could rate -5 stars that would be closer to what this ******* "stealership" is worthy of. The only place I have ever been to where they told me I have to submit my credit app before they can provide me an estimated bill of sale. Also the only place I've ever had play numbers game rearranging the numbers you don't like into other numbers the average person wouldn't notice. Well, you get caught when you play the numbers game with a numbers person. Let me explain how they played the numbers game trying to rip me off. Internet price of ****, initial quote had several addons included for a total of 29k. Asked them to break down the "Inspection and services" fee of work done to the car listed at an additional $1700. I was sent a screen shot of an oil change, wiper blades replaced, tires blanced and rotated. Had another ******* dealer estimate the value of these services and as you can guess it didn't total even half of that. Asked them for a complete price break down explaining why those services cost that much and was told the work was done at another dealer and they couldn't access their system. So then they sent me an update bill of sale with the addons "removed". Guess what now the internet price was labeled ****. So they basically deleted them and added them to the cost of the vehicle. **** the sales manager insisted on that I had to come in to the facility in order to make the best deal. Well I've bought over ********************************************************************************************************************************************** signed and left. No games, No stupid up sales or hidden fees and no nickel and Dime tricks. I live over an hour from that location so if i would have went there 2 to 3 times that they wanted me to come in after I had already test drove the car I would have waisted so much time and money in fuel/work. You think they were going to pay me for my wasted time? ABSOLUTELY NOT!Review frombrittany j

1 starI recently came across this dealership after searching for months for my ideal vehicle. After driving over 50 miles from my home to purchase a BRAND NEW 2023 ********************* my experience quickly began to plummet. Our first interaction with our salesman, ****, was amazing. His effort to put my fianc and I into the vehicle of our choice was well over the average salesman. However, the management team is terrible. I had the vehicle for less than 12 hours before my check engine light, amongst other issues, ignited. I havent heard any updates from anyone in management after demanding answers and its been over 3 1/2 weeks. I am now paying for a vehicle that I dont have the ability to drive or enjoy. The managers refused to help me change to another vehicle and have never reached out to speak to me in regards to any issues or apologize for the situation. The salesman, ****, has not only been trying to keep me updated but physically drove the placed loaner vehicle over an hour to my residence to initiate the process of fixing my vehicle. This whole situation has been handled extremely unprofessional. I highly recommend finding another dealership to interact with in purchasing a vehicle of your choice that you'd like to enjoy.Review fromAlfreda L

1 starHi I had my Kia **** towed to Napleton's in Urbana on Dec.4 2023 and had appointment scheduled for my car to be fixed and I call numerous times and was told they were try to reach me for a week but was looking for my mother which had passed away in 2021 .Remember I scheduled a appointment using my name and phone number but they had no idea why this car was here or who brought it. Then with saying that I call the service representative which only talked to me once on the phone but after that wouldn't answer so I had to talk to him by texting. How professional is that .Not only did I feel he discriminated against me by being a woman, but a black woman. With that in mind I was quoted **** for parts and labor but end up paying more and now my car is shaking very bad .Was told it was shaking when they got it ,but I wasn't aware of it nor did anyone let me know. So I know one thing I will never take my car back there or even think about buy one.I am very unhappy with the service that I received.
