I recently took my **** in because my check engine light was on. After a diagnostic, they came back to me with over $8,000 of necessary and critical concerns that needed immediate repair. They charged such exorbitant prices that my ******* mile Premiere Warranty would only cover about a fourth of that. And although I know that regular wear and tear (brakes, tires, etc) are not covered, just to give you an example, they wanted to charge me $136 to change the rear wiper. I bought one at Auto Zone for $12, and they installed it for free. They wanted to charge me $2000+ for a new set of tires, the same tires I just purchased at ******* for $352. Unless you have cash just burning a hole in your pocket, please take your car ANYWHERE except here.

My experience at Napleton River Oaks Honda was exceptionally disappointing.
Yesterday, we visited the dealership with the intent of purchasing a vehicle for my disabled mother. Prior to our visit, we had thoroughly researched several vehicles and were pleased with the car options and their prices. Our plan was simple: pay in cash. We conveyed this to our sales associate, James, immediately.
At first, James came across as a friendly. However, the final stages of the deal took an unpleasant turn. We had neither requested price reductions nor engaged in negotiations, as my mother's time was limited. She was ready to pay the sticker price along with taxes and fees.
Towards the end, James attempted to increase the vehicle's price by $1,000 above the advertised sticker price, before taxes. He pushed the $800 Luxcare service, despite our disinterest. We eventually departed the dealership and hadn't gone far when James called, offering to reduce the additional charges $400.
James also made a false claim that Luxcare was mandatory because it's how they sell their higher-end vehicles. This was contradicted by the offer sheet he provided, which clearly marked Luxcare as "optional" with an asterisk. This felt deeply insulting.
Overall, our experience was terrible. I understand salespeople may attempt to upsell services like Luxcare or financing deals, it's puzzling to do so with customers willing to pay the listed sticker price. I understand such efforts in the case of a price reduction negotiation, but this was not the case. It's a questionable business practice that cost this young man an otherwise straightforward sale.
I initially liked James because we were of similar age and had enjoyable conversations during the test drives. However, his attempt to take advantage of us felt predatory and left me deeply disappointed. We've lost a valuable day in our search for a vehicle, and as they say, time is money, making it a precious asset.

My wife had a 2016 *********** engine that blew. Had it towed to Napelton *** for a look at to see what is wrong with it and to get ONLY a quote on repairs. ***, the advisor that help me, told me everything that went wrong and the cost of repairs would cost up to $2500. This included a starter (false report of failing), belts, ball joints( false report of failing). He did inform me that *** would cover only the engine as apart of an extended warranty. *** should have covered it all, and *** didn't want to go through the work to try to get the extra items covered by ***. Because of this, I declined all service and asked for my car to be ready to be towed to another dealer. When arrived *** was professional but tried to sell me all the items needing to be replaced that didn't need to. When tow truck driver lifted the hood to tow it, engine was in pieces and not even close to towable. I had to pay a diagnostic fee of $221.95, when in reality I never agreed to this fee and he wanted to charge me out of his frustration. Next, I found out *** already started the warranty and engine ordering process through ***. This would come to bite me later as another dealer couldn't order it right away because of ***'s quick trigger to order the engine. When I asked why he ordered the engine so quickly without approval "No one ever declines service". The frustration and unethical behavior has led me to be the most frustrated I have ever been with a dealer.

Terrible service! They don't answer phones, deliver messages, or return calls. Their phone system is automated ie press 1 for maintenance, et cetera, then never answer, takes messages and they never call back. When you reach an operator they tell you, or at least that's what the salesman told me on two occasions.I bought a new ******* elantra, and sixty days Later, one of the tires developed to bubble on the side wall. They refused To replace the tire for free saying I did not have tire coverage. They were wrong about the tire coverage. I had it but they should have fixed a defective tire even if I didn't have it.They smile at you and talk with a friendly tone but s**** you deliberately. I brought my Car in to have the retire replaced and 2 hours later they told me they didn't have the tire.If you buy a car from Napleton you better hope you don't have any problems with it. You better not have any questions, either. Because you will have to drive down to the dealer to ask them. Napleton will never get my business again. They lie and tell you things like they don't have nitrogen for tires anymore when they do have it.

***DO NOT take your car to be serviced here***Does not even deserve 1 star, I would leave None if I could. The service department has not taken any accountability or expressed any concern at all for what they have caused to my car. I took it in on 07/08/2023, for its regular maintenance only to find out it was never actually done. My car stalled out on me, which is now at ******* is now telling me my engine is blown because there was no oil in my car. The *********** manager *****, sent me over to ******* and I have not heard a peep from him or anyone since. There is no leak, no check engine light or anything was on. My car was still showing 145miles before its next maintenance which was already scheduled for 10/21/23. Which can only mean I have been driving my car around for 3 months with no oil and had absolutely no clue about it. I take my car in for maintenance to the dealership to avoid any issues like this since I thought they would do the best job. Clearly I was wrong. I take very good care of my car, which is public record since anyone can access the Carfax with the *** and can see I maintain my car very well and never miss a maintenance. Nobody from the service department has called me or seems to want to speak to me since every time I reach out I get no response. I have been paying out of pocket for a rental I simply cannot afford as a single mom since they originally told me there was no loaner they could give me at the time or help me with the rental, even though they are the reason my engine is blown. Clearly, nobody there cares that a mistake was made enough to accommodate me or even give me a call back. *** has extremely disappointed me and now put me in an financial bind that I am not sure I will be able to come out from. Again, DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE!!

Napleton Sold me a used car with a bad transmission. On the ride home from the dealer , all the warning lights came on. I returned the vehicle and they did little or nothing to determine the issue . I had to call the ****** dealer who last worked on the vehicle who told me that it needed a new transmission at a cost of 12 k on a car I paid 8k for. Offer to settle: 20% offer repairs on a 12k repair (****) , exchange for a vehicle if I can find one where I would lose registration , taxes and other fees and they would again profit. There was nothing comparable which they admitted to and in any event why would I trust them in buying another car.! Buying as is is one thing , this was fraud and I believe they new or should have known of the defect . Sales manager ****** was useless and would not call me back . You call the dealership and they put you through to a voicemail for another person. I went to the dealership and they pretty much blew me off. Remember this was the first time driving the car from the dealership ? Coincidence ? No way and I have to believe they simply reset the codes . They are thieves and cannot be trusted . profit

I traded in my SUV for what I thought would be better base on the latest model and year. However, I find out that things are going wrong with the car within days. I called the dealership to have the car serviced twice but get there I was told that theres no appointment for the car. I went back a third time and was told that nothing on the car was under warranty but the engine and transmission. I would have not agree to this if I was giving a car fax. No way should I be responsible for paying for the car serviced before Im able to make my first car payment. I am hoping to return this car with the help of the BBB.!!! Not pleased with anything that has something to do with this dealership I recommend no one buy nor rent a car from here.

I would leave ZERO stars if I could. I purchased a vehicle and have signed paperwork showing 4 years of *********** I got a card in the mail that says we have 2 years of Napleton Care instead. Called and left 4 messages for managers over the last 3 weeks, no return calls. Someone in finance finally called me back and left a message saying that I have 2 years of ********** and 2 years of Napleton care, which is not what my signed contract states. I called ********** directly and they have NO record of me having ********** AT ALL, much less for the 2 years that the finance person claimed. My next step is an attorney for breach of contract.

Stay away. This review regards the service department. We purchased a new ******* from Napleton, which included a service package where they pick up your vehicle and provide a loaner vehicle. We had our service appointment scheduled for months and received a call from the dealership the day before to verify. We confirmed and waited the next day for them to arrive. And we kept waiting. We eventually called and could not get through to anyone. Finally, we reached someone who didnt have an explanation for the no show. They offered to schedule us several weeks out, which didnt work because the vehicle was due for service. We were able to schedule an appointment for the next day, but no loaner vehicle was available. This meant I had to miss work and pay for Ubers to get my daughter to and from preschool. This cost me over $500.When someone called to ask how things were, we explained our frustrations and were offered some complimentary services for the lost income and expenses. We have tried calling multiple times to arrange that, but get a voicemail every time and no returned call. It has been 3 weeks since that conversation. The main line transfers me to the same voicemail as the customer satisfaction number I was originally contacted by.I understand that mistakes happen and people are human. What is truly upsetting is the way the follow up has been handled. I hope this review saves others from the hassle Ive experienced. If I could do it again, I would have purchased my vehicle from a different dealership. Its unfortunate how much time and money this ordeal has cost.

Horrible shopping experience! The sales department appeared half-assed. No one came to greet us. All of the sales associates were clustered around the sales manager's desk having a high ol' time. It looked like a frat gathering. Do not go alone as a woman, you will feel immediately dismissed. They also gave us nothing for trade-in and added a whopping $5000 market adjustment to the price. It was incredibly insulting and frustrating. Won't go there ever again!
