**************** took advantage of a single woman looking to get a bigger vehicle after stating multiple times I was just browsing they brought the sales manager out and basically teamed up and pressured me into a sale. I have disdain regarding services received at Napletons River Oaks *** over the past several months, having been a loyal customer since October 2013. Since that time, I have come routinely for scheduled oil changes and maintenance, however the service and treatment has progressively gotten worse with wait time and responses (delayed, ignored and dismissed) from staff.In October of 2022, I brought my Sorento in because the check engine light was on and there was complications with acceleration. There was no oil found, even though it should have been because it was filled with synthetic oil at the routine oil change in June of 2022. In February 2023, my truck shut down on me completely as I drove, and ultimately the engine had to be replaced.During this time when I would call and leave messages or text the number I was given for updates, I would either get the run around because my technician wasnt in for the day, or not receive a response at all. Today, I waited 3 hours for an oil change, anti-theft upgrade, and for the bumper reflector to be put back into place, and was given an excuse by the service provider that the company is trying to change the program that is used to schedule appointments because of how it schedules services. My vehicle had not been washed, and I had to circle back to the service department 3 times for a windshield sticker indicating when the next oil change should occur, for the sticker indicating the the anti-theft software had been installed to be displayed, even though I was assured that this was done in February when the engine work was done, and lastly to ask if air had been put in my tires because the tire pressure light was still on, only to be told that I just needed to drive around on the tires for the light to go off. I hope for the current and future customers, more care and concern will be afforded to them, and that their business will actually be appreciated as is stated on the invoice, not just in words but in action.Ed Napleton Automotive Group

A 2022 Acura MDX-SH-AWD with A-Spec package was advertised for $46,995. The ad also lists that the car is certified-preowned. Upon going to the dealership, test driving it, sitting to discuss financing the price changed to $56,0000! It was advertised for $46,995. Seems like bait and switch. Needless to say, walked out without purchasing the advertised $46,995 car.Ed Napleton Automotive Group

I have been charged for a service I did not consent to the service team to take care of. I have been calling this company for three days trying to get some help and refund of charges I was charged for service I did not agree to. This has to be one of the worst companies to do business with when it comes to them owning up to their mistakes.Ed Napleton Automotive Group

I am not a fan of how this place operates. I have purchased my last three cars from Napleton in our area so we were heading into this thinking it would be an honest process. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We drove 2 -1/2 hours to ******* to look at several cars. We decided to purchase one from this place after we test drove it and others. The entire process was going smooth until the sales manager brought out the "pricing sheet". The online advertised price was $34,000. We were not haggling and were planning to pay sticker price, plus the normal tax, tag, and title fees - plus any normal dealer fees which have never been extravagant in our experience. We were FLOORED when they brought out the paper with all of the costs. They decided to tack on TWO GRAND and claimed "market adjustment" which was clearly a BAIT & SWITCH. They also were charging $1,200 for the Xzilon they decided to use when detailing the car. I am NOT NEW to Napleton and the Xzilon product. Matter of fact, when I purchased my last car (new) I declined it, but they ended up offering it to me for free (it's a $30 product if you search for it). This dealer WOULD NOT remove it from the financing sheet. $1,200 - can you believe that??!! Further, their "dealer service fee" was almost $1,000. This dealership is trying to bait and switch and rob the customer. If they would have just been up front and advertised the car for $36,000 then we may have thought differently - but to waste our time the entire day and then pulling that - we walked. And thank goodness too - we found the same car with more options (adaptive cruise control is the best I might add) at a *** dealer who gave ** impeccable service, no hidden bs fees, didn't try to charge us $1.200 for a detailing fee, and their "dealer fee" to do the paperwork was a whopping $350. Completely different experience. Do not buy from here, they are not honest.Ed Napleton Automotive Group

My 2021 Grand Cherokee was towed to Napleton Jeep in ******** for a no start problem. Without an appointment, they had my car ready in 2 days. A special thanks to service advisor **** and the service manager ****. **** is friendly, knowledgeable and focused. No wonder his service department is so efficient! The absolute worst car buying experience ever. The added fees for warranties, lojack, and anything else you could think of. None of the employees are in communication with one another to make things seamless, and don't expect any accountability from any employee because you won't get it. They don't care about their customers. It's all about money.
I felt like I was on some hidden camera show, because it was that bad! Read the reviews, which are horrid, and read the lawsuits against the dealerships on the owner himself. Very enlightening. They were order to pay out 10 million last year for deceptive practices. I went through the exact same thing.Ed Napleton Automotive Group

Worst experience I've ever had purchasing a car. Finance Manager was unprofessional on working the numbers and dealing with customers. I purchased a car from them not the one I was interested in because the Finance Manager calculated the numbers in correctly. I found out a week later that the car I wanted I could of gotten due to the taxes I've to pay. When I traded in 2 cars for one should of covered the taxes. Tito the Finance manager was so worried about making all the money he can off of me. I will never recommend this dealer to anyone.
Look for another Volkswagon dealer. I've brought 3 car from them and this will be the last. Also will never see my cars for service anymore.Ed Napleton Automotive Group

I am writing to voice my profound frustration and disappointment following a distressing experience at your Ed Napleton Elmhurst KIA dealership on May 27, 2023. I had expected a certain level of professionalism, courtesy, and customer-oriented approach from your team. However, my expectations were sorely let down by the glaring lack of leadership, guidance, and empathy demonstrated by your sales professionals and management.
The initial interaction I had with your customer relations team was quite promising. They were persistent, assuring me that it would be beneficial to visit your dealership. Their insistence is what ultimately convinced me to make the trip. However, the experience I had at your dealership was markedly different from the assurances I received over the phone, pointing to a stark inconsistency within your customer service team.
My encounter with one of your managers was particularly disheartening. Instead of upholding the values of respect and professionalism, he chose to respond to a simple query about previous negotiations in a defensive and hostile manner. The confrontational atmosphere he created not only embarrassed me but also tainted the energy within the dealership, encouraging other staff members to adopt a dismissive attitude.
These actions reflect poorly on your organization as they are indicative of a serious failure in leadership and guidance. Your sales professionals and management team, the very people who urged me to visit your dealership, were the ones who showed a lack of respect, understanding, and support. Such a lack of accountability is unacceptable and damaging to the brand.
I look forward to hearing from you regarding your plans to improve customer service and the professionalism of your team. Ensuring that every customer is treated with dignity and respect should be at the forefront of your mission.

We went to Ed Napleton to purchase a truck. they sold us a KIA Telluride 2022. It had 57,000 miles on it. We drove it home before the first car note it was cutting off. I called and scheduled a appointment with servicing. They said it was not cutting off on them. Therefore; they couldn't find the problem. This continued three times. I went for the last time and of course the miles are over 60,000. I took the truck to another Kia dealer, they instantly found the issue. Its something wrong with the engine. I have to come out of pocket for the repair as well as pay a ridiculous car note which is now due. They would not take it back for a trade unless I agreed on 10,000 to be added to my already overcharged Telluride. I am so disgusted with the dishonesty, poor service, lack of compassion for good business!! Called to speak to a manager they put me on hold and sent me from desk to desk!
