      I paid off my credit card in full and for some reason, they marked it down that I took a settlement. It took me over three months and 40 hours on phone calls to get it fixed. I was told I would be called back over 10 times never happened. I was told that they will fix my credit report never happened Every time I called them the person before did not write down notes onto what is happening over five times I had someone tell me that they reviewed the call in that I did take a settlement which was not true and when I would tell them this, they would again emphasize that they listen to the call and theres nothing they could do And as I said before, it was not true because I had over 10 people tell me they did listen to the call and they admitted to their mistake. I tried to get my money back plenty of times, but they said because there was an open ticket. I could not so after 2 1/2 months when the ticket was finally closed they told me I cannot get my money back because it has been over two months. They completely screwed me and dicked me around for over 2 1/2 months Ive never dealt with a company that has so much incompetence in my life. No one ever knew what to do when I would call and so every time I ended up calling, I had to start all over again and it end up being four hours for them just to tell me they would escalate the situation and call me back and as I said before no one ever called me back by far the worst customer service experience Ive ever had in my life. Nothing is even close to this theres no uniformity at this company. No one knows what theyre doing, and they consistently lied to me in lieu of just doing their job

      I had a CD with Discover Bank. I did not have any checking account with this bank. When my CD matured, I called Discover and asked them for refund my investment. I was told that Discover can issue me a check and it can be expediated. I did not receive any check. I called again, I was told that my check was sent by normal mail and maybe it is lost. So, I should upload their lost check form with all the details and the whole processing may take 4 to 5 business days. I am still waiting for my check. It has been 14 days my CD is matured, and I still have to call discover to get my money back. Pathetic service. Discover does not even agree to pay me the interest of my money that is still with them.

      I spoke with 2 employees and 1 manager about a return charge on my account that was not my fault. Every person that I spoke to gave me the run around and was not able to remove a charge that was there own fault. I am very disappointed in the way I was handled as if it was my fault for their error. Discover need to do better with there customer service. I changed my account number in the app, removed the old account. I was charged a return fee because the removed account on my end was charged. I set my account up for automatic pay and it did not work to my benefit. ***. So now I have to pay twice for there own mistake. This is not good business.

      I spoke with Discovers customer service over a year ago to get help managing my credit card. They enrolled me in a program that required me to make consistent payments to bring my balance below the minimum due. I stuck with it, paid every month for over a year, and successfully brought the account below the threshold they told me was required.They promised that once I completed the program, my card would be reactivated. I held up my end of the deal but even after completing the program and continuing to pay on time, my card is still suspended. They refuse to reactivate it, despite everything.Bottom line: Do NOT trust Discover Cards recovery programs. Youre better off going through a credit card settlement or debt recovery service that can negotiate a lower payoff, rather than wasting time and money working directly with Discover. Theyll s**** you over, just like they did me.

      I was a victim of fraud on May 2024, Discover Bank Credit Card. Try to get Police report a year after because they requested, Now its way to late to get a official police report, NOW Im stuck with a big balance Im forced to pay because I cant afford to hurt my credit.. WARNING STAY ****** FROM DISCOVER CARD.

      Literally the worst bank ever. Dont use them! They closed my account without notice and reported it to the *************. Makes no sense, I was paying it all off and using it fine. They will try to F you over. Go with a different company!!!

      I thought getting a Discover would be a good idea. I spoke to them and then I opened an account online nowhere in the application process was it ever metioned that they needed verification for tax information. I have seen this lately with some credit companies but Discover never mentioned it in the application process. Instead they trick people into applying and then put temporary hold even on new account asking for tax information. An account I would have never opened had I not been lied too. This is fraud, they affected me by doing an unethical hard inquiry without contacting me first and telling me all the details. They have caused me harm and the chance of getting another credit card wasted my time. If a company requires something from you to approve an account this should be in the aapplication whule applying for the crit card like some other companies do. now I have to go to ******** and possibly ******* to fix the damage this company did. If not i will see them in court.

      Discover card as turned into a third world business not caring for those accounts that have been well established for numerous years. The Discover personnel do not in any way help or assist with disputes even with an abundance of evidence sent in the form of documents. Discover card has grown progressively worse over the years culminating into a company that is untrustworthy and hires people who cannot comprehend English as some cannot even speak the English language. Discover card pretends to assist with disputes when in fact they just lie to one and keep them on a string for a couple of weeks then state, "We're reversing the charges back to your account" with no real explanation. Discover has become a deceitful bank with little to no respect for others. When they least expect Discover shall fall. We shall never conduct business with Discover card ever again. They (Discover) have become a like snakes in the grass seeking to entrap the unsuspecting.** Never ever late with a payment for well over twenty years. The personnel have become rude, indifferent, and belligerent. May God bless Discover

      Very disappointed in Discover. Been a card holder for more than 25 years but canceled because I opened a discover bank account and they approved everything but then closed the account and gave no explanation. When I called and asked why this happened, they had no information and said someone would call me back. That call never came. I canceled my CC account that I've had for over 25 years. Their customer service is terrible. Opened a new account with ***********. Guess I'm done cause they don't really care. My advise, **** Discover they simple don't care, not even for a loyal customer for 2 1/2 decades.

      I had been trying to fix my credit for some time I had received one security deposit credit card and decided to get another so I got a discover card with a 200 deposit from day one I had nothing. It problems with this company had used to card for a small purchase and wanted to pay the whole balance immediately so I filled out the info for my banking info when discover tried to collect the payment they said my account was closed so I changed to another account again tried to collect a payment they told me that account was closed fyi neither accounts are closed so I went and opened a credit karma checking account and sent it to have my payment taken out of that account when I went to look and see if the money had been taken out they had a note at the top of the page that my account needs to be updated well this being a brand new account I seen no need to do that long story short my bill got paid after. Having words with some people in the higher up so present day I went to use my discover card this morning and it was declined over and over again which I know is bull s*** since I knew I had laid it so I call up and find out the my account that is in good standing with absolutely I late payments no tardy anything is closed and my security deposit will be mailed back to me after two months which is absolutely ridiculous I will never do buds with this company again they are rude they bounce you all over the county whe. You call them on customer service and are rude don't help you figures out
