      I was preappoved for a second discover card and I submit the application. Days after I was told I need to send in IRS forms and I felt uncomfortable and the representatives cannot tell you anything. This information is not displayed any paperwork when the card arrives and they close your account if you comply. I dont feel comfortable releasing my informational to Equifax (who their partners with) after there huge Information leak.They freeze your card without any warning and idk if I want to do business with discover

      International use:Discover likes to do their maintenance during *** non business hours which I understand usually between midnight and 6 am.This is not the card you want if you are traveling to where I am in ********. The time difference puts it non usable during day time for most of the day.To have 0 use during their maintenance is not good when you travel. I can not longer trust them for any foreign purchases and even though all my other credit cards work so I had options I will be canceling my card due to this issue.DONT USE DISCOVER if you travel, they will leave you hanging out to dry.

      I applied and like it is mentions in almost all the ratings: this company is doing a awful job. They seem to have outdated systems and processes. They are requesting customers with excellent credit and referrals to sign ****-C documents which is unusual for credit cards. In addition to this, they use EQUIFAX, so you are basically putting your personal information in disposition of a third party that has been publicly exposed as of one of the biggest data breaches of history. Equifax used to ask customers to deliver PI via the most unsafe methods. I wish I could have read these reviews before applying!

      Very high interest rates !!! And don't want to work with a person always pays on time. Never late and try to pay extra. They froze my account for no reason. They do not work with you at all to lower interest rates. I am trying to pay it off and be done !! Can anyone help, to get rid of them !!! People don't put your self in DEBT for these people !!!!

      I have been a personal Discover Card holder since **** and Discover Business Card holder since 2008 and have an excellent credit rating. My family business thought that all recurring charges were moved off the business card and that the account was now closed. Apparently the July $107 bill was not paid, then another $135 was charged in August, also unpaid. The business account had a 24k line of credit and over $1300 cash back available. Despite this, Discover thought it necessary to not only close this business account over a $250 past due bill, but also shut down my personal credit card, even though this account was paid in full and had another 19k credit line. All of this was done without even giving me the courtesy of a phone call. ***** said an email was sent, but I still have not seen it. I immediately paid the past due bill and appealed to Discover Executive offices. They got back to me a week later saying the Cash Back money would be refunded but the accounts would remain closed. If this is how they treat a customer of over ************************************************* business. I would not recommend this card to anyone! If there was a lower rating they deserve it.

      Not only have we been great Discover Card customers for over 25 years, we have over $1,450,000.00 in equity in our home to secure the $150,000 requested loan. We also have over $150,000 in cash, gold and silver that we want to keep for security in this questionable time our government has us in. We wanted to pay off all our higher interest credit card debt and maintain our financial reserves as they are. We went back and forth for 2 days and they finally said that our income/ debt ratio was a couple percent lower than they like and declined to help us! Just how ridiculous can they be? They think we would ever risk our $1.45m in home equity and default? I will be shredding our Discover cards and will never do business again with Discover! They want what THEY want and really could care less about the great customers who got them where they are today! Don't wast your time!

      Quick to give credit, then also quick to s**** you and twist the knife in your back. This is definitely the worst card any person could ever get. DO NOT , I REPEAT DO NOT take one of these out. !!! Whoever runs this operation is a (I won't say what I'm thinking)

      I opened a discover card last month. Missed the first payment due to a death in my family. I didnt even remember it was due. I kept seeing availability of almost **** yet it always declined. Contacted them and my account was on hold for missed payment. Sent payment and they claimed my card would be able to be used the next day. Its the next day and my card was unable to use. Call and now the accounts frozen again pending personal information verification and said it would take weeks to be able to use my card. So I decided to shut it down. This company is a scam and is run by criminals.

      Ive had a Discover credit card for quite a while. I received text stating that my account would be closed because:1. I have not used my card for a while. The text said to use card for any amount of money.2. I have to many credit cards.3. My credit score went down.I used the card for a small amount and my credit limit was dropped from $3000 to $500.Yes, I have many credit cards but only 2 are being used. This should not be a problem.My credit score has gone back up.Today I checked my account online and it has a notice on it stating that my card has been closed.Unfair!Be careful with this company! They will s**** you.

      If I could give zero Stars I would. Never in my whole entire life would I even think that a bank could be so cruel to their customers. If you want business and you want people to respect you as a bank and you have to respect their customers. I opened up an account because I have a secure credit card with them. So I figured oh I will get a savings account with them because I was trying to leave my old crappy bank that I'm having issues with in first place. But two days after I open the account they close it after I've already transferred over money and I can't get a hold of those funds for 60 days. I've gone through so many people and none of them can get me my money. Not even released it back to the bank that are originally came from. No one can tell me why all they got to say is it was a business decision. So if it's a business decision you might as well go ahead and make a business decision to close everyone. How about you close your own account Mr executives Mr ****** of whatever department that you guys are in. And you see how it feels to feel hopeless to be out of money to be out of security. Hey **** people homeless and begging for money imagine that being you all because your bank took your money without you even letting you know why. Told you you have to wait because it's a business decision. The least you could do is let the customer know what exactly this so-called business decision took place. I hope that the next person reading this that is in a higher up officer or boss gets to feel what it's like to get screwed by a bank that wants to claim that they're there for their customers. I hope you guys get what you guys deserve. I will never recommend you to anybody ever. You've messed with a young woman's Life. You might as well say anything you murdered her. Rot in h*** discover.
