      I paid of the credit card that my daughter uses while away at school - they did credit the payment but held the available credit - up to 8 days - wtf!!!!!!!!! I have never had a payment be late or bounce and she has had the card for over two years - Ive had many credit cards over the last 30 years (even Discover for a while) and have never had this happen to me - this policy makes absolutely no sense and whoever thought it up should have their head examined - I will be having my daughter take her business elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!

      Discover is incompetent when it comes to disputes. They didn't list to you, and seem to do everything they can to not work the dispute in your favor. Every person you talk to give you a different story. They ask for something different every time, then they ignore what you send and send a blanket message saying the same thing which doesn't even apply to what you sent . Will be cancelling this card.

      Discover bank and card are unreliable cant trust them to fight a scam cant trust them to help you and cant relay on them for jack **** cant even use your card on ****** or cash app but they let random a** **** come from your account and wont even fight it

      I had a fraud claim and they refused to credit me even though I provided sufficient evidence that the ************ that charged my card was a fraud transaction.

      It's a terrible bank to have a checking and savings account if you lose your card they shut down your whole account and you have know access to get money out or anything and know bank to walk into they sent my card to the wrong address and blamed me for it wont allow me to get money until the card comes can't get money out online it's a nightmare with this bank

      Out of all the credit cards I own, Discover has been one of the most disappointing. I regret opening it four years ago, especially when I could have chosen *********** instead. Despite never missing a payment or being late, their customer service has been terrible. When I asked for a late fee waiver after being only three days past due..something I genuinely forgot they refused, even though I have a spotless payment history. NEVER LATE Additionally, their customer service agents are rude and unhelpful. The chat response time is painfully slow, which forced me to call their ***** number for assistance. Ive been a loyal customer since 2020 maintained a credit score of 795, and yet my credit limit with Discover remains at $500. In contrast, my credit limit with ***** is $25,000.Given my experience, I see no reason to continue with Discover and will be closing my account soon.

      Customer protective ******************** has been ultimately, unprofessional, and unsupportive throughout the process of my fraudulent claim. There was no follow-through, no integrity upheld. I will no longer do business with this corporation, and then filing complaints with Better Business Bureau.

      This company gets a huge disapproval from me and 0 stars. This was my first credit card to start building a credit score since that is a financial responsibility in today's age. I proved financial responsibility since 2018 up until around 2022 during COVID. I was struggling financially, didn't receive any government stipend and had minimal resources. They repeatedly called me asking for payment when I encouraged them to close the account. I would have happily worked here during that time since I was unemployed, and this was one of my resources. I only talked to one employee that was kind, and he made me aware they offer remote jobs. I read the reviews way late in the game and found many people are unhappy with this company. I would encourage getting physical locations since it is an international company so that people can make payments in person. It is a financial company so you must make yourself accessible to the people.****** ***** (***********, **********)

      I would Not recommend Discover credit cards to anyone. They are quick to not only take away half of my available credit, freeze my account, and have zero answers to whether or not they will reinstate my account. I am making my payments on both of my accounts but they are not concerned about unfreezing or reinstating my privileges.

      I gave five different representatives of Discover Card the authorization to pay an amount to ******. Unknown to me they had already denied payment of the ****** charge. When I called Discover the first ****** said it was taken care of, but then immediately I was put on hold and had another representative. I asked her if they had been hacked and she said no. Then proceeded to note my approval and said **** would have to resubmit. I contacted them and told them, but again payment was denied by Discover. Another phone call with another representative led to the same process and request that Fubo resubmit. Which they did. And another denial of payment by Discover. The next contact I had with Discover was with their fraud department. This ****** sounded more professional and assured me all Fubo had to do was resubmit the bill and it would be paid. Again I informed Fubo of this and this morning I had another email from Fubo that it was again denied. My call to Discover left me as frustrated as the previous ones, and out of frustration told them I was going to contact Fubo and cancel, which I did. Unfortunately, it wasn't Fubo's fault and I was very frustrated with the whole situation. I've been a Discover member since 1986, and have never had anything like this happen. As soon as I apply and am accepted for a different credit card service I'm cancelling Discover. No stars for Discover on this one. ***** *. I guess I'm forced to give a star rating but this doesn't deserve any.
