      Date of transaction 3/02/2024: payment of $156.90 was made in FULL. Pick up is every Thursday. This past Thursday April 11 2024 the drivers decided NOT to pick up my bins. I called LRS and they informed me that my account had been suspended when I advised them that I paid current over a month ago, representative told me that because I paid online the drivers werent aware. Even though my garbage and recycling have never not been picked up. Representative said because I didnt call and say hey I paid they didnt know. I had the option to log in online and submit my payment without any issues or any warming to let me know I had to call the company. My bins remain outside my driveway, I have called twice and requested a call back from a supervisor and I have yet to receive a call back.

      We apologize for the experience. We confirm payment was received on 03/02/2024. On April 12th, the driver reported the containers were not out for service on April 11th. The customer spoke with a customer service supervisor on 04/16/2024 regarding their experience. Unfortunately, since the payment of $156.90 covers the balance due and the customer confirmed service was consistent until April 11th, we cannot offer a refund.       Told us to put our cans in a certain spot in our driveway, decided through the season to randomly not pick up our trash or call us to let us know they could not pick it up, just doesn't show up. I have had to call multiple times only to get oh sorry bad weather (not bad enough for them not pick up for weeks at a time) Very mild winter in ****** this year. Only to be told we will get it next week and then not show up again, this has happened 4 time since we have started service in less then 2 yrs. The women you try to talk to are rude and give wrong information. They lie about leaving messages and think it is ok to charge someone for 7 weeks of pick up but never pick up our trash, with no phone call about were the cans are nothing just no pick up no matter where we put our cans. They also lie about were the cans are when they are not picking them up. This is wrong on many levels and seems like this is a trend an no one is doing anything about it. Crazy how they can treat people the way they do and steal their money. That what taking someone's money without fulfilling your end of the agreement means. They are dishonest and a complete disgrace to ****** someone need to address this monopoly and theft. We plan to take our complaints to any level we need to, we have phone record showing they never called or left a message, we have record and video showing we put the cans where they told us. From the other reviews and complaints we are not the only ones they steal from at some point it has to stop.

      We apologize for any inconvenience working with us and appreciate the opportunity to learn from the customer's experience. To clarify, various scenarios can cause delayed service, container not out in time or not placed where normally serviced, the collection area being blocked, construction detours, a driver change, an outstanding balance due, mechanical failure, weather conditions, or the truck is full before the route is completed. 

      In February, we asked the customer to place the cart on the road for pickup as we could not access the container. At that time, we updated their account with a discounted rate. Later, the customer canceled ********************. We confirm the account is closed as requested, and there is no balance due. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund for a missed service claim because when notified within 24 hours of the service date, we determine the cause, communicate with the resident, and return to finish the job.

      We understand a direct notification when things happen unexpectedly is preferred, but an unexpected event is time-sensitive, and we do our best to respond immediately to any issue that *** arise, with safety in mind, to provide the best service to our residents.

      I am rejecting this response because: The response is false and shows how much they lie about their interactions I am one of hundreds that have same complaint. No matter where we put the cans they did not pick them up they never left messages and made us pay for services never received. We had to pay money to take our trash to transit station and pay for trash service. They have lied about all of it and frankly it's ridiculous they be allowed to continue. Our drive way is HUGE. We can turn a 18 foot truck with a 20ft camper on it around in the drive way. And we put them on the street when asked and they still missed them and never tried to make it right. Horrible dishonest company! Shame on you!

      I have been trying to cancel my service with LRS for the last 6 months. Our business was also closed for the holidays and wanted LRS to temporarily suspend our service, but couldnt get no where with them. They said they would pick up the cans and never came for a pick up, Weve had LRS for before and never had this problem. This is not a cheap Service, you think they would have better customer service! Very frustrating!

      We have a bulk item that hasn't been picked up by the company. I've chatted with them online/phone and was promised this item would be picked up. The driver stated it's too large but when they have a large item, in the past I've seen others come and assist with such items. There were two drivers here at one point and they simply chose not to take it saying it is too large and needs to be broken down. It is a hockey table and I am not going to take a saw to it to break it up. I got it to our curb without assistance and off a hip surgery, so we feel two drivers should've been able to lift this item. I understand OSHA regulations if that was a consideration of theirs, but too, I offered to go to the curb and place it into the dumpster myself. This has sat at the end of my driveway since 2-27-24.

      We understand service did not go as planned, and we apologize for the inconvenience. To clarify, we spoke with the customer via chat regarding bulk pick-up on 03/05/2024. We shared with the customer that the driver could not remove the hockey table due to the item being too heavy. Although we attempted a second time to service the hockey table, two drivers determined the item was too large and/or too heavy to remove. On 03/07/2024, a manager followed up with the customer and left a voicemail advising that we could remove the table if they broke it down. Unfortunately, we won't be able to remove this item unless it is prepared as requested. The customer can let us know when the item is ready for removal by contacting us at ************ and selecting option 3 to speak with a representative.

      I paid my service up for 3 months October-December 2023. I was credited $81 then sent a invoice for $96 which is an extra $2.50 a month. I already paid. for October - December. I tried to pay $88 for ********March but their website does not allow me to make a payment because I do not have a account. So I sent it via check. Today $96 was withdrew from my account. I&#**;ve tried calling sending emails since October and I haven&#**;t received a call or email back.

      We apologize for the occurrence. Were working on our communication to ensure a better experience for our customers. To clarify, we have annual price increases to help deal with rising fuel costs, inflation, truck maintenance, etc. so we can continue to provide service to all our customers, and we needed the invoice to reflect the rate change of $2.50. The rate adjustment appears on the second line item of the customers statement. We adjusted the invoice to ensure the customer received accurate information. We confirm the customer is set up for autopay and a payment of $96 was debited on January 12th. Additionally, we received a payment by check from our customer. There is a credit on the account of $88.50 that can be refunded to the customer or applied to the next invoice. Regarding an online account, the customer can create one online here *********************************************** and click Im new. I need to create an account, once the next invoice is received towards the end of March.

      LRS truck collected recycle of my neighbors as scheduled, left ours. Our container is full. When I complained, I was told they would collect it next week on scheduled pickup day. I have no place to put the recycles we generate. They are completely unhelpful. When we were with Waste Management we had a pickup missed. When I called, they sent out a supervisor in a pickup truck to collect it, THAT DAY.This is unacceptable.

      I requested a drop off and cancellation of garbage for my father in Sep. The drop off was sent to the wrong address and the garbage bin not collected. Finally able to reach someone and received the drop-off a week late and bin was not picked up as promised. We had to delay the show date as my dad was selling his house and did not want to show his house with a drop off in the driveway. The bin delayed showing by more than 2 weeks. I got the first bill in Oct and after numerous attempts to communicate was told the bill would be adjusted for the correct amount (the bin minus the cancelation of the prepaid garbage pick up). I got another unadjusted bill with finance charges. I called again and left a message. I never received a call back. Called again and got a message the box is full. I have had nothing but issues communicating with LRS trying to straighten out their errors.

      ******* Disposal was bought out by another company named LRS. After the buyout, LRS raised our rates without informing us. Nothing included with a statement, no phone call, just an increase that we were forced to pay. When canceling the service they wouldn't prorate our monthly bill, forced us to continue service for over 3 weeks that we didn't want, then charged us $85 to pick up the dumpster. We feel these are poor business practices. We choose to do business with ******* Disposal because they were local to us. Now with LRS, everything has gone downhill. The outstanding charges you will see on our invoice is from us paying the original amount for several months. Thanks for your time.

      We confirm the customers account is closed.  Although the customer expected to receive contact from us regarding the rate increase in a different way, LRS notifies of rate increases on the invoice, not by phone. We apologize for the experience. Regarding the attachment, the charges were for dumpster removal and fuel related to their cancellation request. Therefore, we cannot offer a billing adjustment. There is a balance due of $246.00. To avoid additional late fees and finance charges, the customer can contact us at ************ and select option 3 to process payment with a live representative or request a payment plan. We appreciate the customers feedback and are happy to bring their suggestions to our billing team.

      LRS is now, in February, trying to charge me for a large item pickup service that they did not complete, in NOVEMBER. They came out, picked up part of it and left part of it. They charged me for all of it. I called LRS and attempted to reschedule pick up for the other items for the course of a week and was told each day that LRS would come and get the items later that day or by the end of the next day. LRS never came. After a week of trying, I had to leave my elderly parents, drive 6 hours back to IL and find alternative methods to dispose of the large items that LRS was prepaid to pick up a week prior and still never picked up. I disputed the charge as LRS did not provide the service they were paid to do, costing me additional cost in disposal fees for those left over items plus the time spent driving and the fact I just had to come back to do it. Now LRS wants me to still pay for the entire service, at a higher cost than they originally charged me. This company is absolutely terrible.

      Ever since this business was sold from Michiana recycling services to Lakeshore recycling systems I have received no emails. I was on auto pay before. I don't pay anything with a check so I know it was paid with auto pay. Now I just got this notice out of the blue that I owe $85 with no invoice number and I tried to use their website and it's impossible to use w no invoice number and I can't pay the bill on the phone until monday and I don't even know how I'm supposed to pay this. plus I am no longer receiving the recycling services that I used to have when it was Michiana recycling. When you have "recycling" in the name of your business, you should actually offer recycling services.

      Our general manager recently reached out to the customer to explain. Unfortunately, we did not receive payment for the first LRS invoice, which was due in December. Therefore, the collection/past due invoice is correct. When billing was moved from Michiana to LRS, all auto payments were stopped. A letter was mailed out in November, stating this to all our customers with instructions on what to do next. We confirm the customer is not on autopay. Additionally, ******** ended recycling in April 2023. However, we are slowly adding it back into our service areas. Regrettably, this customer is not in one of these areas, but they do live between two areas where recycling service is offered.
