      We have been using LRS service for our waste and recycling needs. Starting the week of 5/20/2024, we received no trash pick up for 3 weeks. Our service schedule is weekly pick up. We tried to call LRS multiple times in the last two week, either no one picks up the phone or we were told that they would do a recovery pick up but it never happened.

      The company recycle truck hit the back end of my vehicle puncturing a hole in my trunk lid and scratching and gauging my rear bumper on December 28, 2023. I called the same day and they responded saying that I needed to get a few estimates so they can contact their insurance provider on compensating me for the repairs. I got the estimates and emailed them to *********************** (the person the told me to email and call). I never got a response from him so I called the company. After calling them 5 times and getting nowhere, I finally got an answer from ****** a customer service representative who went to her supervisor while on the phone with me and was told there was a new leader of that department and that the new leader would call me about the issues the following week. He never contacted me and it's April 3, 2024. I have the estimates and they owe me $2,822.97 for the damages to my vehicle.

      We're happy to provide an update on the customers damage claim.  Our insurance company has reviewed the supporting documents and presented an offer to the customer to resolve the matter. Once the customer signs the offer, we can compensate them by check and provide an eta on receipt of those funds.

      Lrs bought out modern waste and I pay by the year April to April. I haven't been picked up since Christmas and when I called I get the run around and they always promised to pick me up on my scheduled pickup day. Today was the day and it is still out there waiting for me to pick up what animals have ripped apart. The way I see it is I can get another company to do the job but they owe me 4 months.

      We apologize for the inconvenience. The roads were unsafe during the winter storm which caused delays. A refund check of $54.99 was sent to the customer on March 5th covering the months of January and February.

      LRS did not pick up garbage and recycling at the scheduled pickup. This was not the first time.We've entered a work order for recovery of trash and recycling. Please leave containers out. If not completed today, expect removal by end of business Friday. Please let us know if we can help with anything else.We apologize for the inconvenience. It's moving season and our call volume can spike at times however we offer a voicemail option, or you can email us your request at *********************** for assistance in the future. With regards to the service delay, that can happen for a variety of reasons: container not out in time or not placed where normally serviced, the collection area is blocked, construction detours, a driver change, mechanical failure, weather conditions, or the truck is full before the route is completed, in which case our driver would have to empty the truck and return. We're happy to confirm that operations was notified of this occurrence and we appreciate your patience while we work to resolve this issue. Please let us know if we can help with anything else.Hello! Thank you for reaching out. Please allow until end of business day for removal.These are the various messages that I received.Because of the Memorial Day holiday, garbage pickup will now be a day later than usual which will be Thursday. Even if they pick it up on Tuesday it still means i am missing 1 pickup that I pay for with my water bill. Again this is not the first time this has happened. Also the garbage and recycle are picked up by 2 different trucks, (at 2 different times), so what would the reason be for not picking up either one. That is why I would like some kind of a refund.       We apologize for the experience. Unfortunately, we do not offer billing adjustments for missed trash because we return to complete service after we are notified. After further review, the last reported missed service at this address occurred in September 2022. Although extra recycling is unlimited and at no additional charge, weve entered an extra pick up for trash, no sticker required, for the customers upcoming service day, May 29th.

      I called LRS on 2/12/2024 and talked to ******* about cancelling my account as of March 7, 2024. I moved out of state. She told me to pay only $23.97 which is from 2/1/2024-3/7/2024 which was paid on 2/12/2024. In addition, I gave them a credit card for a $25 charge to pick up a mattress. Now they have sent me a bill for $14.39 and when I finally got a hold of them today, 5/23/2024, they said I need to pay that. I asked for a manager and when they switched me it went to voice mail. I have tried calling the 3 different times to get this fixed. This is FRAUD.

      We closed the account on April 11, 2024 due to off handed remarks from a customer service person named ******. She was very rude, and threatened to not pick up our garbage until next week after I was fully paid because I asked her why our garbage for the account at ************************************************* up. I have money owed back to me to be approximately $45.00 for ***************** after cancel on the 11th. I have a copy of the bill where I paid it through May 31st. The business in question is LRS ************** for picking up trash/garbage. I had 2 accounts with them. One account ***** Whitney *** was paid monthly, and the other account was paid every 3 months; 2 separate addresses. When I closed the accounts, I had problems with LRS picking up their Receptacles. They have given me different dates to pick them up, and no show every time. Ive talked to someone different every time I called to set up the pickups. Finally, after a month, LRS did pick up the Receptacle for ********************************, but still dragging their feet on picking up the Receptacle at ********************************* They keep delaying it by what the person answering the phone has said, and that it seems strange that the Receptacle wasnt picked up. It was also said that LRS is picking up other Receptacles from other properties that were after us said by their own personal when we called. I dont want to be charged in the end for their Receptacle they seemingly wont pick up. LRS still has the remainder of money owed to me for the rest of May after I cancelled on the 11th, and was paid until May 31st. They even stopped returning my phone calls, and when I call the phone just rings. Seems strange to me! The only type of account number I have is an Invoice #: ********* for 913 ****** St, and the Invoice # MM4005967 for 1426 Whitney St. The account at ********************* is where the remainder of the money owed to me is from.       I cancelled services with LRS 6 months ago and they continued to send me bills. I believe that issue has resolved but I cannot get anyone to pick up the curbside bin from their company. I have called and emailed several times. I leave messages and no one calls me back. I wait on hold 45 minutes only to get transferred and hung up on. I do get though to someone and they say they will come get it and dont. Someone from LRS actually came to my house in January, moved the bin from by the garage to the middle of my driveway, then left without taking it. I saw it on my Ring camera. It was a truck with trailer collecting other bins. They collected a neighbors bin. I dont know why they dont take mine and I do not know what else to do so I am trying this route to see if they will respond and come get it.

      I am rejecting this response because: While I appreciate the response from the business and offer to correct the issue, I do not see a way of following up. They said they will come get the trash bin if I provide them with the service address. But they did not leave any contact information or instructions for providing it. My past experiences with trying to contact them are the reason for my complaint. If it was easy to contact them, I would not be filing this complaint. They should have my service address on file or they can call or email me to get it. This system through the BBB only allows me to accept or reject. Theres no option for me to provide my address through here or ask for a direct phone or email address for the person from LRS who responded. So, I am rejecting it and hoping the business will respond by looking up my service address or contacting me via phone or email to get it. Once the bin is picked up, I will be happy to say this was resolved and accept the response. Thank you.

      I got a job in May 2023 and I started to use my works dumpster, I told modern waste to cancel my service and they said they did. Not sure when LRS took over but fast-forward to April 2024 and LRS called me said I owed $600. I explained to them I haven't had trash service in over a year. They said they have no record of that after modern waste switched to LRS, and they said I still had to pay that. I told them I'm not paying for a service I never had

      LRS failed to pickup trash on multiple occasions even after reporting missed pickups by email and by phone. After receiving confirmations that trash would be picked up, it was still missed resulting in the city of ********* threatening us with fines. We cancelled service with LRS in January of 2024 and received email confirmation of this. LRS is now sending us invoices with fines after the account had been terminated. Attempts to get fines removed after showing proof of cancellation from a supervisor has been tedious and tiresome, resulting in aggravating around from LRS giving us the run around.

Our late fee policy is explicit and printed on the invoices we send quarterly and in advance to our customers. Although LRS is due a late fee for late payment, the bill has been adjusted as a courtesy and no balance is due.

      Company: LRS (formerly Modern Waste) ******************* Info: *************************** ************************************** ************ My customer# with them: ****** My trash pick up service was originally Modern Waste, which I was happy with their service and never had and problems. Ipaid quarterly to have my trash picked up once a week. Modern Waste was bought out by LRS recently, the begining of *******, 2024. My service period was from 12/01/24 to 2/29/24 and was paid in full $81.75. My trash was not picked up on ******* 10th and again on ******* 17th. Imade multiple calls to the company and spoke with several rude customer service reps about the issue. On ******* 22, 2024 | called at 2:41 pm and spoke to ****** and advised her that I wanted my service cancelled and wanted it cancelled starting back on ******* 10th, since that si the first day they did not pick up my scheduled day for trash pick up. ****** stated that she would cancel my service at that time. I called back on ******* 24th, 2024 to confirm that my service had been cancelled and spoke with **** who confirmed my account was no longer active and that Ihad cancelled service. **** advised me that Iwill get a final invoice mailed out. Since the horrible experience I had with this company over the prior 2 week period, Icontacted my credit card company and disputed the charge for service for ******* and February. My credit card company stated that would file the dispute with the company and would have a determination for me in about 30 days. During this 30 day waiting period I never received a final invoice from LRS. After the 30 day wait period my credit card company sided with my dispute and credit my account back for the two months of non service, $54.50. On March 14th, 2024 | was still being sent invoices for the following quarterly billing period for 3/1/2024 - 5/31/2024 for $75.46. They credited my account for one missed pick up, which was deducted from the $81.75 cost for the new 3 month service period. Again **** cancelled my service with them on 1/23/2024 and no longer were they collecting my trash. I also received an invoice for the charge back of $54.50 dollars and it stated that Iwas 120 days past due on this amount to them. Ithen received another invoice stating that Iowed them for the new quarterly service period (3/1/2024 - 5/31/2024) and for the charge back amount, invoice total $129.96. This is absolutely the worse company that Ihave had to deal with, there are numerous complaints about this company on ******** along with ****** Reviews from customers that are having the same exact issue that *** having right now. After receiving this most recent invoice I contacted LRS main office in ******* and spoke to a customer service rep there. She initated a 3 way phone call with a customer service rep at LRS in *******, **. I spoke to this **** **** at 4:25 pm on 3/14/2024. Iinformed **** what was going on and after she looked at my account she stated that there was nothing on my account saying that I had cancelled my service. So ****** informed her of the whole issue and she advised me to disregard the invoices and that she was entering the information on my account as we spoke. **** also advised me that the lady that enters the billing information had left for the day and that she would get with her in the morning and have it taken care of. As of today 4/21/2024 my online account still shows the above listed invoices. The only change on my account shows that my service location is no longer routed and that my end date was ******* 13, 2024. I would appreciate your help in having this company close out my account and correct their billing. They did pick up my trash the first week of ******* so technically Iwould only owe them for that pick up in the amount of $6.81. Icannot call this company anymore l've called them ***** times trying to get this straightened out they are causing me so much stress and anxiety. Ineed this to end with them and be resolved before they attempt to falsley send this to collections like they have done to many other ex customers that are having this exact same issue with them. This company should not even be allowed to be in business.Thank you for your time.
