Our garbage is supposed to be picked up every Monday morning. We have our black garbage can placed out by the highway every Sunday. My spouse works 3rd shift and always puts it out before he goes to work. The garbage driver drives by and does not pick up the garbage. I have a camera that is on our porch facing the road. It captures when the can is placed by the road and it also shows the drivers driving by as it is motion censored. I have for the past several weeks called to report garbage not being picked up. They then substitute it for Thursday. Today, however, when I called to report it was not picked up, ***** returned my call and accused me of lying. The driver states that the garbage can was not out which it was and I have proof. I explained that they go down the road next to us and then come back out on the road and drive right by with no hesitation. We have a black garbage can and have had no issues since April of 2020 until December of 2022. She also refused to have the garbage truck driver pick up the garbage today and will not send them out Thursday. She said its not their fault and they will no longer be requiring the driver to pick up the garbage on an alternate day. I asked for a refund of my money. She said they will not be refunding my money. I asked for a supervisor and she said there is no one l can speak to above her. I then placed a call to the *************** and was informed that she is just office help. They advised me to call back and ask for **** or ******. I called back at 10:11am and spoke with ***** whom assured me that one of them would return my call. This has been extremely frustrating with how we have been treated. Im unsure as to why we are paying for a service that is not being completed.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I was told I would be getting a refund and have yet to see it into my account. Can you please tell me when I will see my refund? Also, as a side note, we were told our garbage would be picked up on the 20th of February at 4am. Checked at 9am and it was still not picked up. Called and were advised that the garage collector would be submitting a photo as evidence showing it was not out there (considering it was out since 2/12- I find this hard to believe). Brought videos up and was willing to email, told it would not matter. Cancelled right then and there. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. Multiple people on our route have now switched to ****************. I would advise someone do a deep dive into the numerous complaints on ****** reviews and also social media (lots of videos out there as well). Again, just want my refund for a service I paid for and was not provided.

1/30/2023- our trash was out on time. It was not picked up like usual at 6:30am. Weather was not bad yet, but did ****** through out the day.1/31/2023- FB post stated trash pickup was running behind but LRS would work on catching up by end of week.2/1/2023- Recording on their phone and FB post stated they were starting with Tuesday pickups that were missed (not Monday). I left a message about this because our trash was still out and I live right in town, and our street was clear. No return call.2/2/2023- Recording on their phone was changed to say they were picking up Mondays trash, as well as Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. Our trash was still left out; however, all around us was picked up.2/3/2033- finally spoke with a young woman when I called LRS. She could offer no reason as to why our trash was not picked up except "higher **** said so. I wanted to understand why, they picked up all other streets in town. She had no answers and had me speak with *******.*******- I explained my concern, asked two questions. Why was our street left out, it's been clear, it's in town, and trash is at the curb? I also asked if we would get a refund for this week since we pay for the service? She was very ****, rude, and simply tried putting the blame everywhere but LRS. I was accused of not having my trash out (untrue). I was told my street was not safe (also untrue), it is and has been clear since Wednesday. She then resorted to the Mayor and said it's his order they not collect trash on ***** Dr until next week. She also said there would be no refunds! Then using her already wonderful customer service skills, HUNG UP on me. I called back but she had turned their recorder on and would not take me call.My questions were simple and valid. If you can't call the business that owns the decisions to get answers who do you call? I am still shocked in *******'s poor service and rude behavior. She is the voice for LRS. I can only assume this is who LRS is and how they operate.Business Response

I sent a check to LRS in November 2022, which was cashed by them on 11/09/2022 but they never credited my account. They simply took the money. I have been trying since early December 2022 to get the issue corrected. I have provided proof of the cashed check to two different people at LRS and every time I call, they pretend like they have no idea what I'm talking about and I go through the exact same process. To this day, they have still not credited my account and have simply stolen my money.Business Response

Every single time it is a new LRS rep that reaches out and asks for all the same documentation again. Then they simply discard it all and ignore me. 3 people at LRS already all of the proof of my payment and no one will do anything with it. All I want is my account credited for my payment.

LRS bought out Praireland Disposal. When I received the new invoice, I called requesting Senior Rate, and they said they would email me the form to fill out verifying over 65. I filled it out and emailed it back promptly. I called immediately to make sure they received it and they said yes and to mail in the new rate of *****. When I received my new bill on 12/28/22 it did not reflect the Senior Rate. I called their customer service ***** on 3 occasions to get this corrected. Now they said I do not get this rate because I live in Unincorporated ****. **** is not what they told be before and it is not my fault that the original **************** People did not say this. I had a manager call me back 1/11/23 and she will not honor the Senior Rate of ***** that they originally said I would get. I have attached. My recent bill and Senior Fax I emailed back to them. I am rejecting this response because:LRS was contacted by the BBB on 1/11/23 in regard to an invoice. LRS responded and said they would refund any open balance. I received another invoice on 3/25/23. This invoice should be at a zero balance and not show I owe anything.I was on the understanding by their responsive this was resolved, apparently, it is not.See attached invoice.Reopen this file.

It's written in our rental agreement the landlord was to pay for the trash. They stopped paying and LRS stopped service.LRS then changed the **** to my name and continue to **** even though we haven't received service in over a year. They also will not pick up their cans until bill is paid in full, yet they are continually charging for stopped service. The latest invoice is dated 12/25/22 for a new total amount of $1536.56 LRS has been contacted numerous times from myself as well as the landlord and we keep getting different answers on what needs to be done and we have obliged.Business Response

We were super happy with the small trash company that ****** county provided ** with when we first started using the company *******************, we were even happy when Diamond State took over, but once Ramco and LRS took over it went to c*** They have price gouged us without warning, and then wouldn't pick the trash up where we normally set it, and I was ok with moving it closer to the road, but when I have to pick my trash can up out of the road, almost every time they are done picking it up, that's not ok. I live in a curve on a dirt road, so who is going to be responsible for damage when someone hits the trash can because your drivers aren't putting it back where they got it. I have recently canceled my service with this company and I won't return to it, The price being changed 3 times in a year without being informed is ridiculous.Business Response

LRS Recycling took over ******************* garbage Ever since, nothing but billing issues I did not get Ebill as requested, nor the paper billing twice.My bill is paid on time electronically thru my ************* the same method as ******************* was. LRS gave me a runaround about the method used on THEIR end, ie; payment is converted to a "check", then mailed out to them. (Same as Sunshine was...there was NEVER a late payment with them) Stated they may not get it on time, due to issues with the mail. Told me only way they can guarantee on time payment is set-up access to my acct and they deduct it automatically. I can't do that per acct.. Bill normally like others. After spending over an hour on the phone, on 12/12/22 at 2:45 PM with employee named *******, finally got my bill straightened out. They stated it hadn't been paid and I owed them $108 for two months plus the current month. The two HAD been paid, I have the electronic confirmation.They (Justice) agreed on that, and stated I am CURRENT on billing, and will owe normal $34.36 for December That was entered electronically when i got off phone with her. Just received a notice of service disconnect due to fact that I OWE THEM $108, per a letter just received today. (12/14/22) Letter also states they have attempted to contact me NUMEROUS times with no success...I've NEVER received a phone call, Email, or letter about this EVER before I just spent 30 mns and (7) calls to them, letting it ring (20) times each call, with no answer, as of 11:00 AM on 12-14-22. I have a witness with me to the unanswered calls who would be glad to confirm. So, in effect, I'm unable to get ahold of them. If my service is disconnected and this is not resolved IMMEDIATELY, I WILL file a formal complaint with ********* AG *************************, who I am in regular correspondence with. I will also stop payment/demand this months reimbursement for the payment if it goes thru. That will be filed in Olmsted County ******************.Business Response

We have a apartment building located at ******************************************************** private garbage pickup for the past 30 years has been with *************** as of January 2022 Lakeshore recycling has taken over nothing but problems has been happening so I canceled their service as of September 20 2022 . I spoke with *********************** their container was supposed to he picked up by October 1st the container still remains sitting on my property. I spoke with *********************** in October who informed me the truck was getting repaired to pick the container up and will be fixed within a week. It is now November the container still remained not picked up and I reached out to *********************** and no answer nor any calls being returned. The company Is aware the service is canceled. LRS missed my garbage on 11/14/2022, they said my can was not there in time. They said they would on a courtesy pick up my trash. The area "manager" ************************* laughed at me and was rude while on the phone with me telling me the call was not recorded but my garbage pickup was. Very strange exchange he proceeded to hang up on me while having a civil (on my side) conversation. LRS customer service stated in writing prior to his call my trash would get picked up with no fee "as courtesy", **** on a power struggle will not let the garbage be picked up without a fee. I am asking for my promised service and to have **** never treat a customer so poorly ever again.Business Response
