The WORST garbage service ever. I have had repeated missed pick *** and when I called to get them to pick up the missed garbage they said they would show up in 24 to 48 hours an NEVER showed.Lakeshore Recycling Systems

Oh...wow!! After reading all of these reviews in I had to jump in to share my experience with ************** RECYCLING SYSTEMS in the Village of ******. My husband is a disabled veteran and he has called them many times and spoken to **** ************ and ******* and they were not a big help but just rude. We have requested an additional larger garbage container for the past three weeks and every time you call to find out what is the status no one has an answer. They keep misleading you with no care. We have so much garbage in our backyard and we are afraid of wild animals making a home in our home. They are very unprofessional. We asked to speak to a manager on duty and ******* indicated there is no manager on staff. What kind of company runs without management? We previously had Waste Management and we never had this problem with them. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR VILLAGE AND COMPLAIN ABOUT IT! i have over 1M followers on TikTok and we are going public with this company is unacceptable.Lakeshore Recycling Systems

When many of us in our neighborhood left CARDS and started business with ***, we were not only promised better service but that our rates would be locked in with no raising the costs for our 2 year contract. Their service went to c*** missing many of us for pick up, not coming back to pick up as we were told they would do. And were not credited for services not rendered. Many of us continue to be charged every month with no service. Then, they went to demanding auto pay and paperless billing along with charging a $9.99 manual fee along with raising rates. Which is against what our contracts say. We should not have to do auto pay especially when we do not get services rendered. Nor should we be charged this $9.99 fee when the letter stated if we went paperless, it would be waived. Us who entered into the auto pay are still being charged and skipped on services. Now before I get a reply with filling out something on your "contact us" section... we have all done this more than once with NO reply nor response in any form. We have all called with no answer to the main line to where we have started calling the commercial line and other area phone numbers to attempt to reach someone. Now, we get nothing from anyone. And last but not least....we just received another letter of rates going up AGAIN. We just had a rate increase again just 3 months ago! Something has to be done about this! I would not ever recommend this company again. I referred many people in which they received their business and it is not only an embarrassment but a disgrace. Again LRS... DO NOT SUGGEST I FILL OUT A CONTACT US FORM BECAUSE YOU DO NOTHING IN RETURN. LRS has terrible service. City of Northbrook switched to this company in September. Today is October 16th, we still don’t have any trash containers and trash pickup, but we have been already getting billed for it. I have been calling LRS for the past two weeks. Getting transferred from one person to another, being on the hold for an hour or longer and then getting disconnected. Really frustrating. But even if you are lucky enough to talk to the real person, they know nothing. First, they told us that we do not have an account with them, later they promised to deliver containers, still nothing. Then they told us to leave trash in the bags up front for the pickup, trash was not picked up. As of today, we are still stuck with our garbage, and they still require us to pay for the service that we are not receiving. Worst company ever.

When *** took over waste management in GregoryMichigan it work out on time till around September 9. 2024 My garage has not been picked up up since then, I am current on payments to them I called many time. And they gave me run aroind and promised to get some one to pick it up. Nope something is goo on . After acquiring my local trash hauler several months ago, the service has been terrible on all fronts. My trash wasn't picked up multiple times. When I called to notify LRS, they assured me they would send someone for a special pickup, but nobody ever showed up. Each time, the trash sat out for days in 80 degree heat until it became a nuisance to the neighbors. I finally canceled my service and went with another company. *** continued to bill me, even after calling multiple times and being assured my account was canceled and I would not be billed. There is no way to delete my credit card or personal information (which is a PCI violation which I have filed a complaint about). There was no offer of credit for the missed pickups or the early termination of services either, since they bill in advance. They basically just took my money and ran, and seem to be continuing to take my money. The only resolution seems to be to open a dispute with my credit card company to stop all payments in the hopes I can be rid of LRS forever. I don't make it a habit of posting negative reviews. On the contrary, I've posted several hundred positve ****** reviews for other businesses and services over the past several years. I understand the business world is hard, and I try really hard to be kind, patient and forgiving to those trying to run a business. But, the service was honestly so bad on all fronts, I had to post. These guys should not be in business. There wasn't a single part of the experience that went well, nor was there any attempt at owning the mistakes or even trying to make it right or do better. I strongly encourage anyone considering LRS for waste management services to look elsewhere.Lakeshore Recycling Systems

*** took over when our waste company was sold. I used them for several years and then had an opportunity to select a company based in *********. I never interacted with them, as the new company changed everything over. They have just sent an invoice for pickup of the cans for $76.31. It was never discussed with me - I had no idea of this charge, and was not informed, as they don't supply a contract. I will be reporting this to BBB and the *************************, as I can't seem to get anyone from their corporate department to answer. Also, the local office didn't know anything about why they charged it or the fact that I wasn't informed or given a contract. Don't do it!Lakeshore Recycling Systems

The LRS drivers do not put the bins back where I place them. They end up in the middle of my driveway, blocking access. Additionally, they leave the bins partially in the street throughout the entire subdivision, creating a road hazard. Waste management never did this, so I'm not sure why LRS drivers are. I've watched as the truck continues to roll forward while the trash bin is being emptied. Then it ends up blocking my driveway. I'll also add that I'm not fond of the $10 extortion fee they charge for processing a check. I do not give anyone access to my checking account. I pay my bills through my bank's bill pay feature. If and when my bank can add LRS to their bill pay feature, then it is done electronically. Until then, my bank sends a physical ********* get the $10 "bogus fee"Lakeshore Recycling Systems

We recently updated our billing practices and notified all customers about the change. This company needs to be SHUT DOWN. After trying to manage an overdue bill with their administration team I was HUNG UP ON REPEATEDLY. We switched service to WM 10/23 and they are STILL CHARGING ME FOR SERVICES NOT RENDERED for nearly a YEAR. I have already filed a formal complaint with the BBB. They refuse to close the account, fine- but you cannot continue to charge me for services that are not being rendered. Everyone who works at the office is incredibly unprofessional and doesnt know what theyre doing. I have tried 4x to resolve this with LRS and they refuse to take any action. You cannot charge people for services that are not being rendered. You people are only surviving because of your commercial contracts which Im also surprised are relationships youre maintaining based on my experience with your disrespect and disregard for legal business practices.Lakeshore Recycling Systems
