If I could leave a zero I would! Terrible customer service. They don't want to help you. They send you to an automated voicemail, which I think no one monitors, so no one calls back. They kept transferring me from people to people. I only needed to know why I was paying less than what my invoice stated. No one could help with that. I also asked for my statement of account. They transferred me to a voicemail for that. I think that they are from overseas, and do not care about helping.Lakeshore Recycling Systems

ZERO STARS!! As I sit here, waiting on hold for a half hour (so far) to tell LRS that yet AGAIN they have forgotten to pick up our trash, I am wondering how this company could be so awful and keep their contract with my city (***********). They took our money for upgraded service, but have not delivered our larger bins, have not picked up our yard waste without reminder calls, have not picked up the one large item that we have put out for pick up (part of the additional payments we make), and today, its almost 4 pm and no garbage pick up. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. If your municipality offers LRS as an option, JUST SAY NO. Its now been almost 40 minutes on hold waiting to speak to one of their rude and unprofessional customer service representatives. I know if I use the call-back system, my garbage will sit on the street for another day. UNACCEPTABLE.Lakeshore Recycling Systems

I wish I could give them 0 stars but that is not an option. Worst company I have ever dealt with. I have been trying to cancel services for months now and they refuse to cancel ( and we have a zero balance currently due) Yesterday makes the 2nd time in the past 6 months they have just flat out refused to pick up our trash on scheduled day. This saga began with what should have been a routine dumpster pickup. However, the driver managed to maneuver the dumpster in such a way that, although it was tipped, the trash remained stubbornly inside. Recognizing the error, I immediately reached out to LRS, hopeful for a quick fix. This was the beginning of a drawn-out series of frustrations.I was told, quite promptly, that someone would return my call to address the issue. This assurance turned into a hollow echo over the next several days; no call came. My subsequent attempts to reach ******** more over the next several dayswere met with the same response: someone would call me back. It took three attempts before I finally received a response, only to be greeted with skepticism over the validity of my complaint.By this point, another scheduled pickup was looming, rendering the initial issue moot. I requested a simple credit for the mishap, a request that was met with minimal acknowledgmenta small credit appeared on my bill, far from compensating for the inconvenience and time wasted. When I called to discuss this, I was told they were too busy to address my concerns properly.The struggle to obtain a fair refund for services not rendered has been exasperating and remains unresolved. Moreover, upon deciding to cancel my services due to their repeated failures, I was bluntly informed of a 5-year contract binding me to them, with no regard for their lack of performance or the breach of trust that had occurred.This experience has eroded any faith I had in LRS Recycling Services. Their inability to handle a minor issue effectively, followed by their disregard for customer care, has been disheartening. I found myself standing in the rain, watching diligently to ensure that the dumpster was emptied correctly, a testament to the level of distrust that has developed.Lakeshore Recycling Systems

I was a customer for over 15 years and now they have become an absolutely horrible company since the buy out of modern waste. **************** is terrible. I'm still being billed 2 months after I stopped service. I've made 19 calls (so far) to get my billing straightened out and to pick up my unused dumpster. No one I've talked to there has been able to do anything correctly. Modern Waste was a great trash company....LRS is the worst I've ever dealt with, between the newly added fees and horrendous service, they will be out of business soon enough. ****UPDATE**** almost 3 months into this ordeal and nothing has changed, except they are getting more rude with every phone call. Every person I talk to seems to care less about resolving this than the last.Lakeshore Recycling Systems

I have contacted them several times about them dumping their bins in front of my yard and recycling dumping out and I have to pick everything up. They pretty much called me a liar. I use to have video but cant find it any more the said there video doesnt show it. I hope our town doesnt renew their contract horrible companyLakeshore Recycling Systems

I would give a lower rating if I could. Absolutely the worse company to deal with. The amount of times you have to call and bed them to do what you have paid them to do is ridiculous. And don't arrange for them to pick up anything extra. They will charge you immediately and then come up with a different reason every day why they couldn't do it and then when they have finally fun out of reasons they will still not pick it up because it isn't your regular day. Never mind you paid extra and if they had done what they were supposed to on the the original day it would have been your scheduled day. Managers are just as rude as customer service, they do a lousy job and make excuses for their employees to to not work and do what they have been contracted to do. They apparently don't care about a bad review as there are tons of them. Hoping to save at least one person from the same aggravation we have dealt with. This trash service company should be ashamed of themselves. It's only been problem after problem with them, all while I'm getting billed significantly more than I should be. And when I called to cancel, they didn't even care to ask why.Let me rephrase, they asked why. But I said all my complaints have been ignored and I'm not going to pay $90 every few weeks to be ignored, and they didn't bother to ask what my complaints were. They literally do not care.Let me also note, I only moved to this location in November, so I've only had this trash service between then and now (April). The fact that they have had 3 strikes already in that amount of time should speak volumes!Lakeshore Recycling Systems

If I could give this place a 0 stars I would I have called 4 times trying to get my bill straightened out and I always get the same run around they say well I have to talk to my supervisor and I never hear anything back from them I have been fighting with them sence December of 23 they are horrible place when they took over for my old disposable service I have had nothing but problems and they refuse to cancel my service.Lakeshore Recycling Systems

My company is appalled and disturbed by the customer service LRS has provided us. Their communication is extremely poor, both internally and externally. We ended up cutting ties with this company after multiple occasions of skipped pick **** The reasoning for skipped picks up were not communicated to our company and then we were billed in full. We would eventually decide to cut ties with LRS and we agreed on a set date for the removal of our two containers. One container was picked up, unexpectedly, four days before our agreed date. I confirmed with two employees that the 2nd container would stay through our agreed date. Two hours after the confirmation, the 2nd container was taken away. Either this company has serious communication issues within their operating procedures or they are unethical with their practices and have no problem committing nefarious acts. If you are looking to partner with LRS, I warn you to STAY AWAY unless you want skipped pick **** overbilling, and distasteful customer service.Lakeshore Recycling Systems

We're sorry for any trouble working with us when we completed your request. Several reasons cause delayed collection, area blockage, weather conditions, delinquent bills, and mechanical failure. Sometimes seasonal events like Spring cleaning may cause the truck to reach capacity before the route is completed requiring us to dump and return to complete the route.
