May 23 Wayfair assembly by ***** was paid through ******* but he stayed longer than the time he was supposed to be there and asked me for money which was 20 bucks. I was wary because I was told that ******* already paid him. I gave him the 20 bucks and then I called Angi the next day and they told me he was not supposed to get any extra money. I have other times where my pergola was installed and instead these three Russian men one who was banned from coming to my house named Darya still showed up and they left the job halfway done. This man Daryra also was banned due to him coming to my house several times and saying he could not do the job because he forgot something and to cancel the job with Angi and he will do it for the price they charged me later. I was not ok with that and asked Angi to stop sending him over, but he would come with other people because they were a group of people who worked together. I have had the worst time with the Angi app and the worst workers coming over. They need to do a better job of hiring people that are trustworthy. This people are opening accounts under different names to do the job and sometimes they have girls on there or they change their name. i AM SHOCKED THAT THEY ARE ABLE TO DO SUCH THINGS AND NOT GET CAUGHT. Thank you

I was in communication with ***** and he has said that he will refund the original payment I made from the unfinished job, so I filled out the refund paperwork. Now ********* entered and said they will not refund because I was not charged for them come the second time. Of course, I wasn't because they had to redo the job, and they said they would not charge me the second time, but I was told I would get my money back too due to the many problems I encountered with all their services. That is why I filled out all the information because he offered it and now, they are changing their mind. That is why they are terrible workers and a terrible company. They say one thing and do another and then they constantly switch people. I should be talking to the same person not a different one and this one I am talking to is trash because he is not the one who came to agreement, but he sure does have an opinion on it. We were coming to a conclusion and now it's back to square one. I need some help with mediation or a supervisor who can resolve these issues.

attached here is the invoice which shows I paid 1800 for the pergola installation and insurance but Angi is denying I paid. It clearly shows payments made 1800 and adjustments I believe were the 2300 where they came which was on them for messing up the service the first time. This worker is denying any payment because he says I did not pay when I clearly did. I am requesting someone else who is a supervisor or a different worker.

We do appreciate the additional information ********* has provided. After receiving her invoice it does show that there was no charge for the Angi service. We also do not show a charge for the booking in our system. We have requested any previous invoices showing that there was a charge for the service, but have yet to receive one. We have also suggested that ********* contact ******* regarding the credit they applied to the service. We do ask that ********* submit any invoices showing a charge, or with any information showing that she did pay for a service and that it was not provided at no cost. At this time we cannot process any refunds as there was no payment made within our system.

we utilize their leads service to generate revenue in our plumbing business, but the majority of their provided so call leads are fraudulent and scams, when people answer the phones they don't speak English and never requested such services, the issue has been reported to them and it continues. For each one of these scam leads we have to pay and many times we do not get a reimbursement. Please let me know what needs to be provided for this case.

The way angies list works is that they have a portal in where they suggest several service providers to customers, we pay for leads basically. I have noticed that every time i turned the leads off, they start  sending job requests immediately,

when you contact them in majority of the cases the person does not speak0 English or requested such service. I noticed this the entire time, and when I requested credit they just never granted it back to me, until i started to call them, and the same practice is still in play all the time. This is fraudulent service and i am looking on how to report this and get the credit back from them. What can i do next or where should i call?

I used on-line search for a plumber who could repair a bathtub jet nozzle. I was contacted by a contractor ******************************** who says he is a Home Advisor contractor ( Angie ) and assured me that he could do the job and asked for photos which I supplied. He then affirmed that he could do the work but would be unable to give an estimate unless he saw the bathtub in person. He came to my house looked at the tub and requested that I give him the part to be replaced and again assured me that he could do the work. He then demanded $225.00 with the promise that the said money would go toward the job performance but he was still unable to provide an estimate. One moth later he was still searching for the part. I decided to contact the manufacturer who referred me to a vendor who delivered the said part in 2 days for 10% of the price that I paid the **************. When I reached out to the contractor after I received the part he texted me that he was still searching. Subsequent demand for satisfaction including returning the part and or monies were refused by him. Angie assumed mediation but did nothing to remedy the matter except to report my complaint in a review.

On April 1st Angi sent a worker to my home to replace kitchen faucet and bathroom faucet. The workers they sent damaged both faucets and the plumbing under the sinks, they also chipped a big area of the porcelain on the bathroom vanity .3 different Angi workers were sent to my home to repair the damage and It is still not fixed The bathroom plumbing has been leaking into a bucket since April 1st I have been without water in the bathroom and a small stream of water in the kitchen since April 1st.I now have to have a professional plumber come to repair everything Angi damaged!Angi sent an email today saying I need to go through my insurance and file a claim first before they might pay anything for all the damage they did. This is totally unacceptable and if I get no refund I will be contacting a lawyer

I purchase a Futon and a ****** at the same time at *******, There are little squares that we need to press to request an Angi Service ...However if we place the wrong square...later to fix the mistake is way too hard. ******* ***************** said they can not do anything about it. At Angi we could not speak with someone by phone because there is no customer services by phone on there. Chat with an Agent Virtual dont fix anything neither. Than after like two hours trying ways to fix the mistake of pressing the wrong services because my finger is big...the agent in the chat said she can not change one service to another, that I need to cancel one to request the other, I did it and receive an email that disposal and removal service was canceled but at ******* it remain active and it is 98 dollars the price. Also, the agent told me that if I request the assembly service that I need from the beginning they refuse to give me the same price as it has at ******* that is 89 dollars the price. It is incredible that for a fat finger mistake I have problems that will cost me so much more, thats why I am placing this complaint. It is ridiculous that for taking out the sofa from its box and doing a hole at 4 points for the legs they charge 89 dollars but living alone and with back and knee and ankle with injuries from accidents I could not do it myself.

The bussines (Angi) NEVER informed about Assemblying, they let me know if that If I request Assembly directly from them it will be a regular price $ 160. 71 , It was even more of the price of the futon so I did not accept. I requested an escalation from ******* and returned the futon instead. I still not receiving refund neither from Angi ( that I really believe is a company of vulgar thieves and a TOTAL FRAUD, and not from *******. In October 2024, I was charged $155.96 through Angi for a service that was scheduled via *******. The person Angi sent to my home arrived on a bicycle with no tools or equipment, stated she would return, and never came back. No services were ever rendered.I immediately contacted Angi, submitted video footage of the incident, and provided proof of payment to request a refund. I followed up again in January 2025 and received no response. As of today, I still have not been reimbursed.I did not hire Angi directlyWayfair arranged the servicebut Angi collected the payment and should be held accountable. I am requesting a full refund of $155.96 and a formal acknowledgment of their failure to address my concerns in a timely manner. I keep getting calls from contractors that have gotten my name and number from Angi, **** They say that I filled out a form for a deck replacement. I havent reached out to anyone for any household work in 5 years and certainly not for a deck. I dont have a deck to be replaced. When I need work done in any way, I reach out to the local Amish people. Angi **** seems to be a company that sells information on people that need nothing done. They have told these businesses that they are leads based on consumers applications. I have not filled out an application for any building replacements or even any new construction. It is annoying and unnecessary. Its actually harassment.

An Angi "Pro" came on March 11th, his 1st steps was checking voltage, looking at connections and examining fuses. When he found nothing wrong, he moved on to the control panel, stating that this was the cause of my problem. He pulled the control panel off of the hot tub, to look up a part number so it could be replaced. However he damaged it in the process, as shown in the attached pictures, I was unaware that it had been damaged because he replaced it back as he found it. His wife looked for the part online and left me the part number for me to order. When I called to buy this part, I was told that it was not the correct part for my hot tub as it was rated for 50Hz (European) instead of 60Hz (***). To review, he did not make any repairs, he damaged an unbroken part (the topside control panel) while inspecting it and then gave me the incorrect part number to replace it.The biggest issue though (besides him damaging that control panel) is that he never correctly diagnosed my problem. The 60amp breaker feeding the hot tub had a bad leg, delivering only 120v instead of the needed 240v. This is a simple thing to check, and a professional hot tub repairman should know this. He should have never touched the control panel!!After replacing the malfunctioning breaker (8 days later) I realized I still had an issue. The Jacuzzi authorized technician, and once he showed up (about 3 weeks later) did he show me the damage .I immediately contacted Angi and they directed me to the damage claim form. I've had to resubmit that damage claim several times in the past 2 weeks. Angi continuously denies my claim saying it was not submitted within the time restraints as outlined in my "Happiness Guaranty". I repeatedly explained that I submitted the damage claim the same day I learned of the damage caused by Angi's "pro".

Angi (formerly Angi's List) has not yet provided me with any solution.  They continue to state that they are "reviewing the matter".

The business has indicated that it is willing to reimburse me for the damages caused by their representative.  This is definitely a positive action as I see it.   However, that transaction has not yet happened.  I would respectfully ask tor keep the case open until after I have received the reimbursement.

      Thank you

Thank you all very much.  I have received a payment from Angi that satisfies my concerns.   While I am still very disappointed in the quality of service I got from them, plus extremely dissatisfied with their customer service after the fact; you can now close out my case.   If my review or complaint is posted anywhere with you, I respectfully ask that it remain as a warning to others.

      Thanks again
