      Bought a Profile refrigerator end of July 2022 and yes freezer is not working leaking which it's a factory default. Very upsetting with holiday season here. 2 weeks or more before it's fixed. I called to see if they would please replace it. And they won't even want to hear me out. It's our problem. After we spend so much money to buy there appliances. And they make so much money. It's like it's going to hurt them and lose money.
      Very dissatisfied with GE!!!
      Would like to leave a zero star!!!

      I wish I could give NO STARS. I bought a GE refrigerator bottom freezer type in dec 2018 from home depot. This fridge has been a problem from the beginning between uneven doors, icemaker issue, bottom freezer issues (evap fan broke 2x and fan located in fridge part, control panel, all of which decreased the life of my conpressor). Not even 4 yrs latera week before Thanksgiving all my frozen food was ruined and the fridge is worthless because the cost to repair is more than buying another fridge. Don't buy any GE Appliances because they are crap and GE does not stand by their appliances. Just waiting to see how long before my washer/dryer dies. I will not ever buy another GE appliance.

      I would put a negative rating if I could, GE does not deserve 1 star. I just bought an oven last October 2021. when the oven is on over approximately 400 degrees, it gets too hot and if you open the oven door to turn your potatoes etc. the whole oven shuts off. It happened three times then I called GE and they came out and the repair guy told me the oven is defective and they tried to fix the model by putting some metal lip right under the panel but apparently it is not working and he couldn't fix anything even though he did a history on the oven and found the error codes. So it happened two more times since repair and I called GE and said this oven is garbage and unrepairable and I want a new oven. the lady said well all we can do is a discount on a new oven so I picked one out and she quoted me a very fair price but when I went to order it they said sorry this is an upgrade and you can only get a discount on the list price and not the sale price. I said i have the quote in writing in an email and I should not even have to buy another oven after 1 year and trying to give your business another chance. so they said sorry but the lady did the quote all wrong and we can give you the oven for $1600 even though if I go to the website and purchase myself it is on sale for $1099. can someone please explain how you totally screw over a customer that you know already bought a lemon from your company and expect them to pay more for a second oven that they could get a lot cheaper on their own. I will never purchase GE appliances ever again and will spread the word on how awful they are to deal with. I now have a piece of garbage I am stuck with until I can find another oven. GE should be ashamed. they don't even make the model I have anymore since it sucks and I saw many reviews with same issue of oven shutting off for no reason and having to cool off. that doesn't fly when you are in the middle of dinner and have people over. what a complete sham your company is.

      GE is selling products with known defects.
      I have had a horrible experience with a brand new GE CAFE Induction Range that I purchased january 2022. There is apparently a known defect with this product, (why are they selling it?!) the all 3 right hand side burners did not work. I tried to get the stove replaced but GE will only warrant and fix the defect. The appliance store will not take the stove back. The technicians who came out 5 days ago, did not put the stove back in properly, it's not square, the stove is not level, the stove is not up against the wall. I cannot get anyone out to put the stove back as it was before they worked on it.
      The technicians did not clean up after themselves, left the old defunct part of the stove that does not work.
      Additionally, if the stove breaks or does not work after January, GE will not stand behind their product and replace it or further repair it. The warrantee is valid only for 12 months.
      I just got off a 32 min call w/their 1-800 number and cannot get anyone to get back to me.
      My case is with their corporate office because I could not get anyone to respond and i posted a review and sent to their IR email alias. My case manager has not responded to my calls.
      I would not ever recommend purchasing a GE product or having it repaired by their technicians.

      In 2020 I purchased a front load washer and dryer set from GE. Since having the product we have had 7 service visits for the washing machine. The most recent issues started on 11/8/22 with our washer not draining. Since then we have had 3 visits from a technician to try and fix our machine. (11/16, 11/28, 12/5) The first visit the tech stated it was a bad drain pump and ordered a new pump. The second visit the pump was replaced. The technician said he heard the pump click on when testing through his laptop and should be fixed. I attempted to wash clothes 3 hours after this visit and the machine again would not drain. The third visit the technician checked the main control board and stated that it was not functioning and needed to be replaced. The technician stated that he did not check it the first visit and that the drain pump may have not needed replaced( which I had already paid $300 for). The part that is needed is on backorder with an ETA of January 2023. When I contact Customer service I was told that they only option available was if I pay them $153 now for the other part they would have a team attempt to locate a new part for me faster. I will now be without a washing machine for 3 months unless I want to pay them to find a part sooner. Plus the fees of having to use a laundry mat for 3 months. I will never purchase another GE Appliance in my life.

      Our refrigerator GE Profile is from 2012 and started to go out. Had GE repair come out. He said the fans and motor were not working. Waited for a month, called GE said there was a glitch in the system didn't get ordered. To get to the end., we had the compressor and main board changed out. Still not working. In between all this we ordered a LG from C***** the refrigerator was really dented. Changed to GE and we had the same problem with a new refrigerators being damaged. This has been going on since Sept. 2022. My concern is that C***** and GE charge your account the minute it ships to you and you own this defective product. These companies have your money and we don't have the merchandise for weeks or months. I have case numbers for all this. The GE repair said he can replace the doors if dented ON A BRAND NEW REFRIGERATOR . We have ordered numerous big appliances (60yrs) and never had this quality control issue. GE must be losing money because new products are going to outlet centers or selling as damage.

      After our 15 year old Kenmore finally conked out, we made a hasty purchase. The pandemic made selection minimal. We screwed up. We bought the French door GE.
      While operationally it has worked, the function is terrible. The shelves do jot slide out like our kenmore did and this cheap GE fridge was 2600.00 plus tax. There are no function to the inside organization. It's just there and you buy items to fit your storage space
      The class action lawsuit should come soon for the FORCED $50.00+ every 6 months for a water filter. No you don't have a choice. You have to buy theirs are you don't have water and ice. They will sell you a bypass so no filter is needed but then you will not have filtered water.
      I'm extremely negative toward GE. What a sneaky thing to do.
      They will make an addition $1000 dollars off this thing in its lifetime.
      I'm searching for a class action lawsuit. If this was going to be forced on us we should have been informed.
      And Strangely, this fridge has been pulled from the marketplace.
      No GE for me ever again.

      My purchased a GE stove from **** ***** on University Parkway in Winston Salem North Carolina back in February. She is a widowed 80 year old who lives alone and does not cook a lot. Since November 1,she has not been able to use her stove at all! A GE service repair person told her explicitly to not turn on the stove because it had been wired totally wrong! God was watching out for her because it could have started a fire! GE is lucky because iff it had, I would have sued for everything we could get! I want GE or **** ***** to replace this stove at which they want to do "repairs". Faulty wiring is not something you play around with. Never will I purchase a GE product nor recommend them to anyone! (A complaint against **** ***** has also been made)

      Purchased a New GE refrigerator on the 14th on Nov. It was delivered on the 22nd. We lost some of our food because it never got cold. Service Tech came out today Dec 1st. Bad condenser….. now we wait for parts and another week for repair. I will not be buying any GE products again. Spending over 2000 for brand new and it not work is ridiculous.
