      Took delivery of my GE dryer on 9/6
      Scheduled first service with A&E. NO Show.
      Scheduled second service with GE technician, could not identify the issue.
      Scheduled third service, same GE tech diagnosed the heating element did not work.
      Replacement part was not able to be found until at least November 28th, 2022.
      My dryer had not functioned once since taking delivery. I have been in contact with GE numerous times via phone and email thread.
      Cannot get through to anyone on the phone.
      10/28 I was told someone would be out at my house for service within 30 minutes.
      My call gets transferred to the supervisor to which she states it's scheduled for 11/28?
      How do you confuse the two? The result in my machine not working has lead me to miss work/pay, and I've had to lug my clothing to a laundry mat for the past two months.
      If someone does respond via email, they say someone will be in contact with me but nobody ever contacts you.
      I was told on two separate occasions that due to failure to produce replacement part in an ample time period, I would be reviewed for a replacement unit all together.
      STILL WAITING.

      The worst costumer service of all time refrigerator went out and it took over 2 months to get the parts and labor to fix it and the final time the repair people came out was 7pm at night to fix it a complete lack of any service from this company

      Enraged with GE. We bought a gas range/oven earlier this year. The oven had a dangerous issue where the gas was leaking excessive amounts to reach the pilot light. I have three young children! The oven started leaking gas again due to a faulty valve and the first technician didn’t even catch it. The appliance is a hazard in my home and GE won’t cover a replacement. I can’t wait weeks for a part, as I need to cook for my family. It is very upsetting that my family’s safety has been compromised and this massive company won’t even replace a single appliance. Very disgusting.

      We regretfully bought 8 GE Profile Appliances for 2 different kitchens thru Lowe's. 6 out of 8 had either delivery damage or service issues. I have spent days on the phone being sent back and forth from different GE phone numbers to ****** phone numbers to no avail. The worst problem is with a microwave that does not work. An authorized GE technician came to repair it and found that it needed these new high voltage parts, magnetron, transformer, diode and capacitor. To me, that sounds like purchasing a new car that needs a new engine, transmission, brakes and exhaust system. We DON'T want this microwave and they WON'T replace it, only want to fix it.
      And ****** won't take it back without an Return Authorization # that GE won't t give us.
      Other issues are less involved but still not resolved. DO NOT PURCHASE GE APPLIANCES and be very cautious of purchasing from Lowe's.

      Terrible company and product. GE knows they have a compressor problem and still sells refrigerator with known issue. Second refrigerator in 9 months to have this same exact issue. GE has left me without a refrigerator for a month now and their service subcontractors state they are overwhelmed with repairs and will push “scheduled/confirmed” repair dates out a full week- will receive parts for your repair but use them for other customers who have the same problem so you continue to get the run around and neither GE or the subcontractor can help or resolve any issues within reasonable timeframes. 31 days so far and still no confirmation of when a repair will be scheduled. Unbelievable.

      Recently bought a Opal ice machine. After the second day we noticed the water reservoir (which was extra) was coming apart. Called the GE appliance warranty number, sent email, pics, etc. Horrible....even asked to speak to a supervisor because we were not getting anywhere with a customer service agent....we were told a supervisor would return our call in 24 to 48 hours. It took 8 days for the "supervisor" to call us back to inform on our voicemail that the reservoir is out of stock...??? really....it is a plastic container that holds water...do you have to make the plastic yourselves.??? Anyway to spend this much on a ice machine and purchase something extra.. We would advise anyone not to purchase the extra reservoir because they are poorly made and you will not have to deal with GE because they give you a run around.

      GE WALL OVEN

      I purchased my wall oven approx. 2 months ago. The very first time I used the self cleaning feature it burned out. A GE technician was dispatched within a week and he also couldn't even get the door unlocked. After referring to his office he was giving permission to jerk opened the door. Once open he declared the unit was dead and he wasn't even able to use the diagnostic tools he had for this model oven. So upon self inspection he came to a diagnosis for a part replacement. I immediately told him I didn't feel safe with the appliance and simply wanted it replaced. He agreed wholeheartedly but said sop was to request repairs I told him the company may recondition the oven however it wants but I didn't purchase a reconditioned appliance 2 months ago, I purchased brand new and it should not have broke the first time I used a common feature. He forwarded my concerns along with service request. I received an email from my case manager telling replacement was declined. I called and the case manager was not available but told I could appeal to customer relations, I did. My oven still has not been repaired or replaced. I called the number on the email and stay on hold for over an hour at a time before anyone answers, if they answer before 5 o'clock, closing. The web sight they suggest you use instead only reinforces the benign email responses that I will be contacted shortly. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ONE CALL FROM A GE REPRESENTATIVE! I expected better from GE. This was one of the first times I have bought a brand new appliance for my family and no DAV purchase I have ever made was this junky. At least a secondhand store you get a 90 day warranty. GE HAS TREATED ME LIKE I DON'T EVEN HAVE A PURCHASE WARRANTY., IT'S 2 MONTHS OLD!??! Really!?;!;?

      GE Opal ice maker. Bought 10/21/21. Never got unit to work consistently going into defrost mode. Sent back to opal got a refurbished unit that didn’t work. Sent back to opal. Got another brand new unit that didn’t work. Now it 9/22/22 and they want me to pay to fix it because it’s out of warranty. Horrible product and horrible customer service. They will never get another dime from me.

      GE beverage cooler replacement under warranty did not issue full reimbursement they said they will not pay tax which was over $45 shame on GE for not fully covering replacement

      We purchased a GE Cafe gas range model CGY366P2M1S1 from Home Depot about two years ago. It is for a vacation home so it is not used extensively, only while we are there. I have gone back and forth with Ge for the last three months and all they are able to offer me is a service discount...if I can find someone to work on it as it is in a rural area. The problem is that the igniter for the top burners is not working. There was a significant spark when me wife turned the stove on. Further investigation by a local serviceman showed that the wires for the surface burner controls had been "pinched" during assembly and the copper wire was exposed on one of them producing the spark. Fortunately, there was no gas flowing or there would have been an explosion or fire. I believe that this is above and beyond a warranty issue as this could have been catastrophic!
      I have asked for a refund of the range which cost approximately $6000 which was denied. I have looked at other reviews of this range...all bad and I do not believe that this model is available anymore which is no surprise. I would expect a large company like GE to stand behind the products they sell but in my case that has not been true.
      I would not recommend this product and will not purchase another GE product if at all possible.
      I would not even give a star rating if that were possible.
