HORRIBLE PRODUCT MANUFACTURING!! DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING GE PROFILE MICROWAVE!!! If I could leave no stars, I would. We purchased this microwave almost 2 yrs ago, after 8 months it stopped heating. Luckily still under warranty, a company came out and assessed the problem and determined they needed to order parts and they'd be in touch. It took forever for them to get the parts, as they were all on back order, however that company was awesome! They came back after a month or 2 and replaced the motherboard, door switches and wire harness. It was like a new microwave. It worked for about 2 months and did the same thing on Thanksgiving, just stopped heating. Same company came back out and said they'd order the same stuff again due to possible faulty manufacting and a lose soder connection, so we were out a microwave again for a couple weeks due to parts being on back order AGAIN! They came out a third time to replace the motherboard, it stopped working the next day; he came back and wiggled something and it worked. This week they finally got the wire harness, replaced it and 2 days later it just stopped working. The awesome company who came out 5 times said there is nothing else they can do to fix it, it's defective. GE wants to send another company to repair it or give us a discount on purchasing a new GE microwave. Why is a product that was manufactured in 2023 a POS and GE will sink hundreds of dollars into a defective product? DO BETTER GE!

Purchased a GE all in one washer/dryer unit - their top of the line, $2500 unit, Model #:
PFQ97HSPVDS. DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. It worked great... for a couple months. Has been a complete disaster since. At first we just started cleaning the filter more, but the problem didn't get better. Clothes don't dry, and come out smelling musty/mildewy - despte cleaning the filter after every use. Would give 0 stars if possible.
Have since had 7 or 8 appointments with service technicians - all set up through GE - to try and resolve the issue, along with dozens of hours on the phone with consumer relations. They have already replaced 2 parts, and another 2 or 3 are on the way. They refuse to acknowledge that this unit is just...bad. They will not consider replacing it, despite a letter of commitment that they issued. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR LETTER OF COMMITMENT TRAP - it only covers repair and parts, they will not consider replacing the unit under it, at least in our experience. IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH THIS UNIT BEFORE THE WARRANTY IS UP, REPLACE IT.
From the description from multiple technicians, there seems to be MULTIPLE design flaws in this unit. Simply put, from what these technicians have told us, in order for this unit to work at all you must live in a completely lint free home. Any lint, and the unit won't work. There's at least 4 different points of failure in the design - the blower path, the filter location, the size of the condenser drain, and the location of the condenser basin preventing the unit from reaching the rpm it needs to work. Those are just the ones I can remember off the top of my head.
Short story - this unit would be horrible for $500 since it does not work for its purpose AT ALL. At $2500, it is an absolute scam, and GE consumer relations is one of the worst large company ones I have ever come across.

We bought this refrigerator 5 years ago. Over the summer we noticed it wasn't always cooling. Then it stopped dispensing ice and water and the lights would never come on. We schedule a service call to have someone come out and look at. We had different parts replaced 3 times. None of which fixed the issues
I called GE to move forward with getting the unit replaced since they either couldn't diagnose the issue, or knew what the issue was but couldn't fix it. The lady that I talked to said that since the fridge was not repairable, that they would offer me a new fridge at a discounted price. I told her I wanted a similar style fridge, with no ice or water dispenser on the door, and ice maker in the freezer. She gave me the model number and price of $1,448. I told her that was not acceptable seeing as I was told otherwise previously. She stated that she would pass this on to the case manager to discuss further. I called several times and each time I was told that someone would call me, and no one ever did.
I finally received a phone call, only to be asked if I was ready to accept the previous offers made. I told him I was not a happy with the offers and was told this is the best they could do, as he already spoke to his supervisor. I then spoke to the supervisor and was told that these are the final prices and include delivery and installation, so it’s a good deal, and my current fridge IS 6 years old, so that is pretty old!! (Also, I was quoted prices for stainless steel, when my fridge is white, so the pricing was not accurate). I then asked about being refunded for the parts that were installed because I shouldn’t have to pay for parts that didn’t fix the problem. He said they could refund 1 charge, but not the other. He said their system showed that we never paid for the other charge, however I clearly have receipts and bank statements that prove my payment, with no refund to my bank account.
I will no longer be purchasing anything from GE.

I do not recommend buying a GE CAFÉ SERIES REFRIGERATOR.
We purchased the GE Café Series appliances because we were told they were the top of the line; the best appliances GE makes.
Our first issue was in December of 2021, right before Christmas (the fridge was about 8 months old at this point) and the freezer stopped working. We had to pitch all the food and wait for GE service to send someone out. The tech came out, ran a diagnostic, said everything looked fine but he believed we needed a new mother board, so he ordered one, but it would take weeks to come in. This must have been back when GE still believed in good customer service because they made the decision to not make us wait for parts and just replace the refrigerator. The new fridge arrived a few days before Christmas and although the doors were badly damaged, the freezer worked and GE did eventually replace the doors, so problem solved, or so we thought.
Fridge #2 worked great for about 2 years, until the freezer stopped working, the same problem we had with fridge #1. We called, waited for service, tech came out, ran a diagnostic, didn’t see a problem but orders new parts, we waited, parts came in, etc.…while we were waiting, the freezer & ice maker miraculously started working again, but they still replaced the parts.
The freezer has gone out three more times since then, and each time they send someone out they run a diagnostic, can’t see any issue, order parts, we wait, they come back, replace the parts (it’s the refrigerator version of Groundhog Day) When this happened again at the end of October, we called, waited, diagnostic showed nothing, parts ordered, but this time they told us if the freezer goes out one more time they would replace the fridge.
Well, it happened again. Guess what. Still waiting for it to be replaced.
We’re not putting anything back in that freezer,so where do we go from here? Probably to an appliance store to buy a refrigerator that is not a $4,300 GE Café Series lemon ??

I purchased a GE front load gas dryer direct from GE in 2021. The dryer has required two repairs in three years of light residential use. The first repair was in 2022 when the start button malfunctioned. The second repair is for a failed motherboard and GE has shipped my repair technician two faulty boards in a row. This is the most unreliable dryer I have ever owned. I'm never buying a GE product again.

We purchased a GE dryer model GTD33EASKOWW serial # VT842516C a little over a year ago and it stopped working. I contacted GE with my problem and this is what is going on to date:
Here we are again still with a defective dryer. Ge service was out on 10/19 and said it had 2 bad thermostats. Scheduled an apt for 10/30 to repair. 10/30 i received a call saying they needed to cancel because they didnt have the parts. Rescheduled for 11/6. Received a call on 11/6 cancelling again saying they do not have parts. Rescheduled for 11/22. Came out on 11/22. Dryer worked for a short while, then stopped working. Service came out on 12/6. Said they needed to basically rebuild the whole unit. Repaced 2 thermostats which were previously replaced, 2 additional thermotats and the heating element. Parts shipped to my house.12/20 they came out to repair. Worked for a short while, then stopped again. 1/17 came out and said the heating element must have been defective so they replaced that. Worked for a short whole and stopped again. Have another appointment scheduled for Wednesday 2/5. This is getting crazy. GE has spent hours and alot of money on this dryer when the bottom line is, the entire unit is defective. Why do they insist on coming out every 3 weeks instead of just replacing it? It would save us all alot of frustration. I have been a customer for years. Every appliance in my home is GE. I am seriously I am seriously considering never purchasing another GE otem again. I would really appreciate some feedback or a permanent solution to this.

2023 I purchased a GE all-in-one washer/dryer (Model Number: PFQ97HSPVDS) unit at Lowes. Unfortunately, this unit has not been functioning properly since approximately eight months after my purchase, specifically regarding its drying capabilities.
I have already had a GE technician come to my home about five times to address the issue, and I have also purchased an extended warranty for $400 through GE. Most recently, technicians from the extended warranty service informed me that only GE technicians are authorized to work on the unit as they lack the necessary equipment. I called GE to rely the message, GE States a certified technician is no longer in my area. So I have a broken $2,000 unit and wasted $400 on the warranty.
Each time a technician must visit, I have to take a day off work, as no services are available on weekends.

We purchased a GE front load washer Model GFW550SSNFWW on 11/30/23. On 12/23/24 the machine stopped working. We contacted the department store we purchased the machine from. They came out 2 times to attempt to make repairs. First time 1/3/25 said it was the discharge pump. 2nd time 1/9 came out to replace the discharge pump and determined it was the control board. At this time the department store told us to contact GE directly to see if it would be covered under warranty. GE was contacted and sent out a subcontracted service tech out on 1/15. His inspection determined the control panel was damaged, but it was a result of a cracked drum. Again, I contacted GE to inform them of what their tech had stated. GE set up another appointment to have one of their own techs come out to look at the washing machine. He arrived at my home on 1/23. This tech had no previous knowledge of what the previous techs had looked at or tried to resolve. We had told him that 2 other tech's had looked at the machine and determined it was the control panel and a cracked drum. GE's tech's response was that he "didn't have time" to look at my machine and "he was fixing other tech's messes" and left my house. The tech refused to give his name and would not send us a report of his visit. I called GE customer support on 1/23 and 1/24 to file a complaint about this technician and scheduled another appointment for service not available until 1/30. I spoke to customer service supervisor on 1/27 to discuss my displeasure with service to this point and I was assured the service tech would be out on 1/30 and would my issue to resolution and GE would handle the repairs under warranty. I got a call today 1/30 from GE service department that they would not be coming out to repair my machine and to contact customer service. Customer service informed me I was placed on a "do not service list" and they would no longer be helping me. Beyond frustrated and dissatisfied with GE. wish I could leave 0 stars

Back in 2007, we purchased a washer and dryer to ship to the Philippines for use. The washer Mod WDSR2080G2ww AM137357G; the dryer DBLR33EG1WW LM718148A......while we were not able to get the dryer working due to lack of technician and seemed like inside was not able to rotate, the washer has served us well up until 12/24. While in a rinse spin cycle it died. These was such a great machine for us and after approx 17 years it died. This machine was on a power transformer due to 220v normally; so had it on 110-120v part of transformer. Indeed your product saw a lot of loads over the years. Was totally satisfied. We also shipped two refrigerators which I will review in another entry. Thanks for quality products.
