      We purchased a ge gas range from home depot in May, once it was installed and the oven was turned on it became so hot that my counters and cupboards we scalding and we could not touch them. I had to use an oven mitt to turn off the oven, the controls we so hot they burnt my hand. GE sent a technician and the range was deemed defective. A new one was sent weeks later, after two months of use while I was cooking a huge spark flew out of the burner knob which shocked me, then there was a loud bang and it no longer works. The customer service was terrible. Both times their range was a safety hazard, the first could have caused a fire and the second an explosion. I would like a refund, as two changes with terrible outcomes is enough and they said they do not refund. I am still waiting for a tech to assess it, with no appointment pending. This is the worst company to deal with.

      Do not buy these products. My GE profile cooktop/oven which is less than 5 years old scattered while I was cooking on it.
      Called scheduled a repair appointment 2nd week of July. Appointment was not until July 28th. Repairman calls. States it is not work the cost to replace the cooktop and installation and labor. Advised me to contact customer relations. So I did.
      After hours of waiting on hold, final a young man starts to help me with the situation. He provides me with a cost of the replacement oven, tells me it is good for one month. I asked for his contact information, but needed to run it by my husband. I called back with in a week of the July 28th. Once I finally got through to customer relations after sitting on hold for over an hour. The young women who answered the phone looked up my account. She then explains the that the original $ has now increase by more than a $100s. I explained that is not what was discussed and that I wanted my original CR advisor to call me back. She assured me, he would call back on Monday 8/8. After no phone call on 8/8, I started emailing the CR team! Finally after more than a week 8/19 my CR advisor email back with the corrected price. I called back again on 8/22, waited on hold for over an hour again. Determined to solve this issue, when I spoke to the CR advisor this time agreed to the quote amount. Provide my credit card, it was verified and confirmed the payment was successful. I was then advised the unit would come from Jacksonville on the 8/31. They would call me with deliver date and time.
      As of 9/2 I waited on the phone for hours no answer with CR phone number. I still have no oven. I have credit card proof of payment that 752$ has been charged.
      Where’s my product. Where is the concern for the safety or time of your customers. I’m a frontlines healthcare worker in an area of massive shortages. I do not have time to wait around for all these delays.

      I purchase a washer and dryer July 3, 2021 and my appliance (dryer) has not worked properly since I received it. I have called GE several times to have the dryer worked on/repaired and to this date it has not been repaired. I have requested them to replace the dryer and they denied by request. I am still waiting for my dryer tk be repaired. I would never recommend their products to any one to purchase.

      I got a brand new GE fridge to replace a Samsung bc I was told they were awesome. 8 months later my fridge quit working entirely- waiting on home warranty now but I’ve been without a fridge for a month now bc of this. I will never buy GE again. And I will tell everyone I know it’s garbage.

      New GE GNE27JYMFS Refrigerator stopped cooling after being plugged in for 1 week. Technician came out 2 weeks ago and told us we need a new compressor. Still waiting to find out if they can find the part. They won't replace the unit until 4 service calls or investigation finding the part is complete.

      I bought a gas range in March of 2022. The oven has never worked. GE sent a technician twice to work on it. It still isn't fixed. Now I've sat through 3 "no-shows" as GE has supposedly scheduled someone who hasn't shown up. I have taken 3 days off from work and now GE won't even let me speak with a representative. Undoubtedly my phone number is blacklisted.

      Junk from China, GE customer service incompetent. Warranty wording really means this...you have no warranty, and China gets your money. GE is working for China, who perceptually wants everyone dead in the world, but China.

      Absolute nightmare. Had a technician come out august 3- ordered 4 parts- sent to wrong address- delayed repair by two weeks. Then they sent me one part- which wasn’t even in the original parts order. Delayed by another two weeks at least. Do not buy a GE appliance- ever. The second guy at my house was so rude from the first “I’ll be there in 20 minutes phone call”. My washer is less than 7 months old. Save yourselves the headache and the inconvenience and buy anything but GE.

      The lack of 1/100 of empathy or concern for the customer. It's amazing that they hav remained in business for this long. I haven't owned this range for a week & it's not working properly. It's a double oven range and neither oven can hold the requested temperature, yet alone pre-heat to the requested temperature. I call Lowes (where I made the initial purchase) & they were of no help (a review coming for them too), simply gave me GE's '800' number & told me that because I didn't buy an extended warranty with them, I had only 48 hours to report any issues to them. After an hour on the phone, GE schedule an appointment for a repair person to come to my home to work on the range...only the appointment date is 10 days out. I've had the range 4 days, never performed at the 'new' standard I paid for...but it will be 10 days before anyone can address the issue. Even worse....my appointment time is between 8am & 5pm.....but there will be no compensation for my lost time, waiting for the repair person to come. Also, I have to answer every spam/scam call between now & then (to confirm the appointment) because the repair person will not leave a voicemail nor will they call back...if I miss the call, I have to start the process for an appointment all over again. GE customer advocate manager I spoke with had 0 empathy for my issue. She expressed excitement to get me off ofd the phone when I let her know that I had to call her back with the serial number once I am home. To say this will be the last GE appliance I purchase is an understatement. I plan to let all of my friends, family, anyone who will listen....NEVER PURCHASE GE APPLIANCE! They have worse than no customer service. The greed factor is off the charts...once they have your money, they have no concern for your satisfaction in their service or anything they may have sold you. Once upon a time, GE may have brought good things to life....but that day has long since past.

      New high end CAFE microwave cost 647.purchased from Standard Appliances and TV. Rep highly recommended and when we discussed extended warranty felt it wasn’t needed per her experience. Regular warranty one year. Purchased 9/2020 with their matching duel fuel range. Now less than two years old and the microwave isn’t working. Normal use. Two days of calls, they offered me a discount on a new one or the part but won’t stand behind the product, even one rep said it should last more than that 2 years, maybe at least 5-7 yet they referred a GE repair person who wants $249. to come out and diagnose. To get the parts discount it would be up to me to deal with them through my case number while the repair person waits…not. Don’t waste money on a ‘high end’ anything these days when a company that used to be good won’t even stand by their own merchandise! And if you buy anything, get the extended warranty.
