      I guess you can't get any lower than 1 star, but we were setting up a warrantee repair on a dishwasher that is already not working when the GE rep was so rude, talking down to me and talking over me,
      if you can't talk to people in a respectful way, you should not be in customer service.
      Not sure you can have an A+ rating with a 1.06 out of 5,

      Have a 4 month old fridge that has a failed compressor. Two GE ordered technicians have come to fix it during the past 3 weeks but neither have even tried once they came over. Ge orders a 3rd tech to come out in another 3 weeks. They refuse to give the vendor we bought it from the return authorization so we have and will be without a fridge until someone either fixes it or they finally give in and replace it. After this abysmal customer and repair service I am never getting another GE appliance ever.

      Here is the history:
      - May 2021: GE washing machine model GTW465ASN2WW purchased
      - November 2021: washing machine making loud, grinding noise during agitation cycle
      -GE service was requested. GE service technician unable to diagnose the problem after 3 service visits
      -GE Support recommended us to contact 3rd party appliance repair facility to diagnose the problem.
      - Action Appliance (3rd party service) recommended to replace motor and mode shifter. Both parts
      were ordered, received and installed.
      -December 2021: - Washing machine still making loud, grinding noise after replacement of parts
      -January 2022: GE approved to replace washing machine with new one (same model).
      -February 2022: New washing machine received and working OK.
      -July 2022: Washing machine causing electrical problems (lights flickering/dimming) on same circuit line.
      This issue was diagnosed by an electrician.
      -GE customer service was contacted and service tech recommended to replace motor and user interface/control board
      -Replacement parts were installed and washing machine was working OK with no electrical issues
      -August 2022 Electrical problems (lights flickering/dimming) started again.
      -Called GE Consumer Relations who said that the washing machine requires service again.
      Based on the poor performance history of this GE model I believe there are design flaws that are preventing this machine from lasting more than 6 months without working properly.
      I have requested a new machine or refund without success. I am being told that the machine must be considered unrepairable before a replacement can be granted.
      This is unacceptable.

      I bought a GE Hotpoint dishwasher from GE in Feb 2022 which stopped working in few days. GE sent a technician who identified that sump inlet was chewed by a rodent but he didn't bother me informing about it (I wasn't home when the technician came home) and neither did GE. After lot of unsuccessful calls to technician, I decided to approach GE directly. I was told that since my house was rodent infested, they can't do anything unless I get a report from a Pest Control company proving that there are no rodents. I called a pest control company and sent their report to GE which clearly mentioned that there was no pest in the house which GE disapproved saying that the company should be a licensed Pest Control Company and when I provided the license from that company, they again disapproved by saying that they want an actual exterminator agency to be hired. My question to GE, when two of the pest companies couldn't find any infestation then why I would put unnecessary chemicals... . I called GE again
      and this time I was told that I can hire my own technician and upon receipt of report they will send the spoiled part and will reimburse up to $250 for technician services. I got this confirmation in email but in order to be sure I called them couple of times confirming if they for sure would pay $250 since it was initially rejected. And every time I was told yes but of copule of days later, I got an email saying due to rodent infestation GE will not be responsible for any of this repair due to the damage. I called my own technician on GE ask otherwise for that much money (and adding few more dollars from my pocket) I could have bought another dishwasher. I want GE to honor what they had agreed upon.

      I bought a new construction home in April 2021 which came with a GE profile microwave built into my cabinets. 15 months later and the microwave doesn't open when the button is pressed. I called GE customer service and they won't help me because their warranty ends at 12 months. So disappointed that I bought a brand new home and don't have a working microwave and GE isn't willing to help.

      Customer service is a waste, they have no answers and offer no real solutions. Poor customer care. New washer has been broken almost half of the time we have owned it and no one will care they will only “email the servicer for updates”. Will never buy from GE again….Samsung appliances may break a lot but their customer service is FAR superior to yours and answers and resolutions are easy to come by with them!

      Wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing...ordered a fridge and added on the ice maker kit at time of purchase. Additionally, we ordered the 12 foot ice maker line and received the 8 foot, which did not reach, we went to the store and purchased the correct one. The initial ice maker would not work, a tech came out and determined it was bad. He ordered a new one then when he returned to put it in realized it was the wrong ice maker and he can't order the correct one, I would have to call and order it. I have talked to 6 different people at GE customer service and they keep redirecting my call to the wrong departments. I am tired of explaining my issue over and over. Awful experience and customer service.

      I Bought a GE washing machine from *******, the day they delivered it, it was broken.
      6 attempts to try and repair it in our home, still did not work right.
      then ******* said that GE was being hard to deal with, the only thing they could do is pick up the machine and try for the 6th time to repair it once again, a week later the guy told me on the phone that he thought the tech would have time "THIS WEEK" to take a look.
      My wife and I are both older and have a limited range of motion. GE sent my wife a check and said GO TO THE Laundrymat.
      I am sending this to the local news channels, hoping someone can help a couple of old people.

      My case #05681809 GE Washer and Dryer unit was purchased on 07/06/20 Sometime around the end of 11/20 I started to have problems with the washer, it would randomly start leaking and not washing the clothes properly, on top of that in one of the loads the washer just stopped working because the drain cycle wouldn’t start, contacted GE and they scheduled a service, technician comes and wasn’t able to find the cause of the problems which kept happening randomly. On 02/05/21 the unit stopped working for the same problem, they come and “fix it”, same problem happens on 04/20 and at this point I just wanted a replacement due to having the same problem. on top of the random leaks and faulty washes that the technician wouldn’t find the cause of. Contacted CR, waited for hours on hold and got hung up TWICE with no explanation or a call back. When I was finally able to speak to a CR representative I let her know I wanted a replacement and she told me that I had to have 3 services before I could place a replacement request. Had a third service scheduled 04/22/21 which was reschedule by the service factory for 2 weeks later (where I had to wait with my washer full of stagnant water and not being able to do laundry) the technician comes on 05/04/21 and “solves” the problem for the third time and that same day when I put the first load the washer stops working for the same exact problem. Contacted CR for a replacement request where I was told that I’ll receive a call back from my case manager that never happened, kept calling CR just to get evasive responses. On 05/11/21 I receive an email from CR stating that my replacement was denied because my washer it’s working properly as designed, Someone came on 05/19/21 but it kept having random problems.To this date GE continuously denied a replacement on the unit and just made me kept getting it serviced. waited till the warranty expired on October 2021 to not be responsible and now I’m stuck with a GE product that doesnt work.

      We purchased a dishwasher two months ago and continue to wait for delivery. They have scheduled four times and it has been no call no show every time.
