Do not buy GE or Cafe appliances.
      Model CHS950P2MS1
TLDR: the range is not reliable and the warranty work isn’t timely.
This is a beautiful range and I love the induction; HOWEVER, on January 5, 2025, when it was 7 months old, the first time we tried to use the self clean feature, we got an error message about the latch being broken. The range beeped incessantly because it wouldn't let us cancel the self clean. We unplugged it, turned the breaker off and then back on, but the beeping would always continue when the range was turned back on. Because it was still under warranty, GE was finally able to schedule a warranty repair 8 days later (so at this point, it was over a week that we'd been unable to use our range).
Then after the service visit, we were told by the repairman the part was on backorder with NO ETA! So I reached out to GE again and was told they were awaiting a review by a “parts specialist” and would get back to me next Tuesday, which at that point over two weeks without a usable range JUST to find out if/when we can get the part, so there is still no definitive resolution in sight. GE should replace the range with a new one now since they have been unable to repair it in a timely manner, or give me a refund so I can buy another brand. And it's less than a year old. In summary, the range is not reliable and the warranty work isn’t timely.

Purchased gas range 3 years ago and the griddle is trash. The coating is bubbling and peeling even though I took very good care of it. Very disappointed with the quality of the griddle. Now GE says I can purchase a replacement griddle for $130. So I will have to replace it every 2- 2 1/2 years? I am a single senior on social security. That is not something I can afford to keep doing. I can’t use it and it is the main reason I purchased this range.

General electric are the worst. They can't send a part on time. Even when you pay rush fee. They can't send the right part. Their customer service is the worst. They tried to get me to call a repairman from them who was going to charge 110 dollars to diagnose what I already know what was wrong and quote and then charge God knows how much. So there is hundreds of dollars they tried to get. They ain't getting. For a 30 dollar part that takes only 10mins to change. Which I had to take to parts to make one that worked. They made a washer that locks to protect people who have no commen sense to cut in off before you stick your arm in it. The damn thing even has an internet hook up like you can connect. Do need. If your not smart enough to cut the washer off wait for it to stop spinning you got problems or no common sense at all. We went years without this JUNK. GENERAL ELECTRIC IS NOTHING BUT A CERTIFIED CROOK COMPANY. AND I HOPE NO ONE I MEAN NO ONE EVER BUY THEIR PRODUCT AGAIN!!! ABSOLUTELY FREAKING TERRIBLE. oh by the way the rush fee was to make it faster not 3 FREAKING DAYS LATE EINSTEIN!! That's the point of paying the rush fee. Not rip me of for an extra 30 dollars. And then don't care about your customers. SORRY IM NOT SORRY. For saying the truth about your BS. I took both your parts and built the part I was suppose to get. I took the old part and your new part you sent to make the part I needed which shouldn't had to do. TO MAKE IT WORK!!!

Do not buy a GE product. Products are trash. Customer service is even worse. We bought a dryer and washer about 10 months ago. Early November it the dryer quit working. Called GE and they set a date for the service tech. Service company called the day they were supposed to be there and said parts did not come. They came out about a week later. Ther tech said he fixed the dryer but it would take longer to dry now. What? We did a load of laundry but no heat in the dryer. Called GE back. They said they would send a different company out ten days later. The tech said the dryer cord was bad. I replaced the cord and the outlet. Dryer worked for two days. Called GE again. They scheduled two different companies to come out. First company came out and fixed the dryer. The next day the second company called us and said they were on the way. I told them not to come the other tech fixed it. Again only worked for two days. GE has refused to get me a new dryer. It is January and my dryer still doesn't work. Tech came back out and said the board was bad. It's almost a month out to get the part. GE and their customer service are trash.

NEVER and I repeat NEVER purchase a GE appliances again!!!!! You will be stuck with a subpar broken down appliance and crappy warranty service from Bodewell. They belong together, Bodewell and GE are a bunch of scammers and liars . Just Google their reviews STAYAWAY. I had my GE fridge for under a year and had service 3 times, warrenty is up in February and its still broken. Incompetence from every single angle. I took off work for the 8 AM to noon window today. Something told me to call at 9 since they've been undependable in the past. The rep told me that my appointment had been canceled. I said not by me, it hadn't. She said the tech canceled it because he tried calling, and no one was there. I said I'm happy to send you my call logs. And I'm happy to send you my text logs. He never called once. You will never get my money again, and neither will GE. Please, please, please read Bodewell, reviews online. You will see these people are scammers, and no one is doing anything about it.

Bought a brand new microwave that was faulty. Had 3 service calls come in to attempt to fix it and it never got fixed. Tried getting another appointment scheduled to get it fixed once and for all and they kept putting me on hold and I couldn't get an appointment scheduled. Once I finally did, they told me my unit was out of warranty and they wouldn't fix it.

      Worst oven ever.
I don't usually write these reviews, but in this case I will make an exception. We purchased a Monogram 2 1/2 years ago and it has been nothing but trouble. We have had 3 repairs in that time. (2 ignitor failures and 1 control board failure). The Ignitors cost about $300 to fix and the control board was $780 to fix and took over a month to repair because their customer service is so bad.
When we purchaed the Monogram we thought we were getting product that was supposed to be "top of the line" and compete with Sub Zero and Thermador. Needless to say the Monogram, with very light use, is very unreliable. So don't be fooled by fancy brocures and slick salesmen.
The customer service experience is even worse. The techs do not return phone calls or emails and parts have extremely long lead times so that when it does break (and it will) it can take over 30 days to get parts.
So for a rating I would have to give the Monogram 0/5 stars. The only reason I gave it one star was that the software wouldn't let me leave a zero star review.

Bought a $2700.00 GE refrigerator from Home Depot. Broke down after 1 month. Technician has been called 3 times. The last call told us he has to order parts and won't be back for 3 weeks. Have had no refrigerator since the beginning of November. GE not helpful at all and keeps telling us that we must wait for repair. The last technician has ordered at least 9 parts in order to try and fix this refrigerator and is not even sure if it will work. Meanwhile we are making payments on this worthless fridge. It is evidently a lemon and should be replaced with a new one. How long must we wait for GE to keep playing games with this machine?
PEOPLE NEVER NEVER BUY A GE PRODUCT. They are very bad with service and you will be waiting forever for them to make a decision. Buy a Samsung or LG product.

Been dealing with GE and no success. My stove malfunctioned.. Took me 3 days and finally got a hold of them. It has been 1 months and they stated they will ship me a new stove but there was not no service near by to deliver. I had option to get a refund and nothing. They will not answer phone. Now it say I'm not in the system. Is there anyway I can file a suit against. Any suggestions will help.
