Purchased a glass top range with front burner controls. After a couple years, the control settings began disappearing. We contacted the company about the issue and were told that they did not have any type of overlay and the only solution was to purchase a new control module at a cost of just under $500. This was truly unacceptable as the control module was not the problem. Here we sit another year later and none of the setting are visible any longer which is a true hazard for anyone using the stove who is unfamiliar with the settings. This is one very unhappy customer due to the lack of resolution on the part of GE and would not recommend this appliance to anyone given the circumstance.

Terrible customer service. I purchased a gas range two months ago from them and it has a battery powered ignition system. It did not come with the panel to hold the battery in its place. I contacted GE 6 times and they did nothing. Zero. All I want is them to send me this clearly inexpensive part that should have come with the oven. Without that part the ignition system will not function so I have to light the burners with a stick lighter.
Why even have a customer service department if you're not going to offer service?
I am never buying another GE product again.

I won't even give them a star but I have too. Worst customer service ever. Had an expensive microwave for one month. Sensory and now the whole board is broken. They are taking there sweet time to fix the microwave. Now it might not get fixed until November. They just won't replace it. giving my family the run around. They just want to keep putting band-aid on it. I have two young children and they need there microwave. Come on GE you can do better.

I bought a GE Profile refrigerator according to the dimensions provided on their website. I wanted a French door, bottom refrigerator and it had to be counter depth. According to the diagram on their website the refrigerator I purchased was supposed to be 29 3/4” in depth not counting door handles. My refrigerator is 27” in depth measured exactly how they show in their diagram on their website. I called and was told I didn’t measure it right. I told them my husband and I both measured it separately and with two different tape measures and came up with the same results. I have been going back and forth with the customer service department on messenger after posting on Facebook about this issue. They want me to contact the store I bought my refrigerator from but I told them this is false advertising on GE’s part because the store uses the measurements provided by GE and GE needs to do something about this. I paid for a refrigerator that is 2 3/4” shorter in depth than what they say it should be

The technician came and turned on the spin cycle for my washer which was working normally. He then pulled out a laptop and said it had an alert. I then proceeded to read the laptop and it said to run the washer check the speed and the technician said it was normal. It then said DO NOT REPLACE but tell the customer to not overload the washer and pay attention to balance. He then acknowledged the advice and suggested maybe like a car I should get maintenance by replacing a belt - well by that time I didn't trust a thing he said. I paid for the visit $149 and he left.

Had an appointment to get out fridge fixed for a cooling issue. The window was from 8-12. Called at 12:59pm and asked what was going on. They Representative said they got pushed back on there last call and should be there around 3ish. 3:30pm call again to see where they are at. The representative said they are still pushed back. I asked how much longer they said 4:30pm. Call back at 4:50pm. Canceled call. No courtesy call to let us know they were running behind. Took a whole day off of work for nothing to get done. Just find a local person to come out and fix your appliances it will be faster! Never going through here again and will probably never buy GE appliances again!!!

The self-clean feature on my two-year-old GE double wall oven that I had used for the first time caused my oven to completely shut off. There was no electricity and of course as a result the doors would not open. The service man that GE sent to fix the oven said never use the self-clean feature again. I consider its fraudulent to sell an oven with this non-useable feature. The oven gets too hot for it to handle. As a result I had a repair bill of $ 549. I sent a registered letter of complaint to GE headquarters office in Kentucky but was subsequently told that since the oven was no longer under warranty that they would not reimburse me for the repair. I think it is the company's fault to sell such a product that by the way cost over $ 2ooo.

I purchased a Monogram 42 in. built in refrigerator and after 6 service calls GE technical service staff deemed it non repairable. They had issued me an additional year on the warranty after the original 2 year warranty but now state it was only a curtesy and will not honor it. They offered to sell me a new refrigerator at half retail which is $5500!
I have 4 GE Monogram appliances in my kitchen which I spent close to $25K for and all have needed warranty work. I would not buy one again and urge you to shop other brands.

I purchase a dryer 8/13/24, it was delivered 8/31/24. I dried a load of clothes, i notice the dryer door dosen't close, and when you close it, you have to slam the door. I don/t like that. My clothes wasn't getting hot so i dried them 2x, the clothes was still damp. 9/04/2024 i complain to GE customer service about the issues, she slated that a technician will be out 9/10/2024.from 1pm-5pm, the person never showed up or called. So I called him, he ask me to send him a picture of the dryer door, he explained to me that he believe he knows the reason why the door isn't closing. i have had my issues with GE appliances, I will never purchase another GE again. this is so sad and pathetic. I will call them again 9/16/2024. Now I see I have to take my clothes to the laundrymat to dry them. I paid almost $700 for this dryer, I shouldn't have to go to a laundrymat. to dry them after a week of having the dryer, next time i will go with another brand.

For some reason, the BBB webpage doesn’t allow me to file a complaint, but I have an ongoing problem with a GE washer-dryer combo I purchased less than a year ago.
The item ceased functioning a few weeks ago, and despite the intervention of GE technicians on three separate occasions, the same problem persists. The repeated replacement of the same parts, at considerable cost (all currently covered by the warranty), has not resolved the issue, and the item is once again out of service.
GE refuses to honour the lemon policy and claims ‘it is repairable,’ but the required parts are out of stock, so I should wait for them.
It is an almost brand-new machine, and I have been having all these problems for weeks. It is unbelievable to hear they don’t have parts in the first year of a machine.
After running that problem, I have already lost a lot of time and all my confidence in this machine. I want GE to stand behind its product and replace it with another unit of washer-dryer. I have copies of the invoices and proof of purchase ready.
