      1. I ordered online (washer and dryer), the process was easy and I was able to select a delivery date which was quite efficient. The process was off to a good start.
      2. The delivery window was 4:20-7:20pm, the truck showed up close to 9pm. We have 4 kids, not a good time to show up. My husband politely expressed his discontent and was met with attitude and the response "well do you want it or not?!". A simple apology would have sufficed.
      3. The washer was severely damaged coming out of the box, the product was 'refused' and taken back to the warehouse. Unfortunate, but things happen, we understood.
      4. I contacted the 1-800 number, spoke to a lady who told me I had to send an email, I did so before 7:30am, no response all day.
      5. I called again the next day, and resent the email as requested, was told I would get an email back within ten minutes. 2.5 hours later I call again, spoke to someone else, told her of the situation, listened to her phone going off and dogs barking. Got no where. I did not feel confident anything was being done, called again, spoke to a rude lady who repeatedly interrupted me, I asked her twice not to and let me speak, she hung up on me. I called back spoke to a man, gave him the order number, he hung up on me. I called back spoke to the first lady, told her I wanted to cancel the whole order, was told I would get confirmation of the cancellation, nothing received.
      6. I paid for a product that I did not have, no one ever reached out to me, I had to contact them each time, spent over $3500, they could/would not give me a date for a new washer.
      7. I was left with zero confidence that if there was a future repair needed on the units that it would be completed, or I would be treated respectfully.
      8. ALL of the people I spoke to were in Mexico, why? I am supposed to be reaching GE CANADA.
      THIS WAS AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE AND I WILL NEVER BUY FROM GE APPLIANCES AGAIN!

      Bought a Dishwasher, Refrigerator and Gas Cooktop Oven. Dishwasher is done, Refrigerator is going now. Less than 5 years old. They do not care and told me to hire my own repair tech after sending around 6 different people who had no clue what to fix. Kept trying different parts over and over.

      GE uses B******* ********* ****** *n the Atlanta, GA area. We have had 2 separate techs to service our washing machine (still under warranty). Both have managed to damage the machine, making everyday use worse. I don’t have enough characters to completely explain the issues incurred using Bodewell. If you choose to purchase Any GE Appliance, do yourself a huge favor and not schedule repair service through GE. Even if it’s under warranty find a trusted tech. This repair company is a joke and are criminals

      GE Appliances is a company that fails its customers at every turn, and the BBB needs to take note. We bought a GE dryer, but their technician didn’t connect the exhaust vent, flooding our home with humid air for months. This caused rampant mold that destroyed all our windows—damage confirmed by Andersen Windows as a direct result of GE’s negligence. We submitted photos, expert reports, and a replacement quote, but GE’s customer service was abysmal—evasive, unhelpful, and quick to issue a baseless denial without even inspecting the damage. No accountability for their shoddy work or the havoc it wreaked. This isn’t just poor service; it’s a pattern of indifference that’s cost us thousands. The BBB should hold GE accountable for abandoning customers in need.

      I want to file a complaint against GE as their appliances are not the same quality as before and they do not stand behind them. When you purchase a range in the summer/fall of 2022 and the appliance is not working, something is wrong. I keep my appliances clean and kept up, but It looks like it is 10 years old and is not performing as it should. The top griddle that sits between the burners and has only been used to flip pancakes, started peeling about 6 months ago. I called Lowes and GE and was told, "to season it". Meantime, it is still peeling.
      And, the oven has a "steam cleaner", not a self cleaner. Which has never worked. The water sits in the oven and I put it on 4 times and it still does not work.
      I was told do you have an extended warranty. No, I don't. Why do we need to purchase an extended warranty when we purchase these high dollar appliances? Its like they know they are going to fail.
      Neither ***** nor GE will do anything about this. Other than giving me a discount to buy another griddle but I have to pay for service call, parts and labor. ON AN APPLIANCE THAT IS 2 YEARS OLD!
      I always purchased GE appliances but this will be the last time.
      They do not stand behind them, unless you have purchased an extended warranty.
      What can be done about this?

      Purchased a refrigerator in August of 2024 that only made it to February of 25 before leaking out all of the Freon. Contacted the warranty department, and after several back and fourth calls and searching for someone to come out after the first company did not do this type of service, I am still sitting here in the end of March with no refrigerator. The fourth company they tried finally came and had to order parts. The parts came in and they were supposed to come today, but were a no show. The case manager keeps sending emails asking if repairs have been made, yet she demands that ONLY she can make appointments, that I cannot contact the repairman myself. The next available time due to my work schedule is in two weeks. I shouldn’t have to go two months, or possible more, with no fridge after 6 months of owning a $2,600 refrigerator. They should have sent a new unit as soon as they were struggling to find someone to work on the special sealed system that they use. I will not be purchasing from them in the future.

      I own a GE dryer (model-GFD55ESSNWW) and have had problems since purchasing. The lint filter collects a paste of wet, thick lint that will not come off of the lint filter no matter what you do. Dryer sheets do not get all of the lint off, using spray cleaner on a rag or paper towels does not work and even my fingernails and using q-tips to try to remove the build up out of the holes in the lint filter do not work. It also has a sandy type substance left around the circular part of the inside of the dryer after each cycle. It has caused my clothes to stink and nothing gets the odor out so I’ve thrown out clothes. I have called GE customer service and customer relations many times and they’ve sent out appliance repair people three times. The first guy that came shortened our hose and told us to clean the hose out and the outside part of the dryer as it goes outside. We did that and the issue was still there. He returned and said everything was set up correctly, cleaned up properly and should not have the issue any longer. He said he’s seen this issue in the same model dryers other than mine. GE still said oh well. I called again and they sent a third guy out today. He said the issue wasn’t the dryer but my clothes were the problem. When I asked what he meant he said I must have oils on my clothes from my body that are causing the issue. He also said there might be a small obstruction in the hose but refused to look at it or point out to us because his job was only to look at the dryer itself, not to see the obstruction. He was condescending and dismissive and said the problem was from me and my clothes. I told him I only use detergent and dryer sheets and I’ve never had this issue with other dryers and he said he didn’t care. Please, please do not buy the dryer! Please do not purchase any GE washing machines or dryers. Overall they have failed to fix my problem and I’ve been trying for 4 months.

      Very disappointed in refrigerator purchased. Upper level Cafe brand. 1 1/2 year old and ice maker, circuit board and heater to keep line from freezing all being replaced. Have extended warranty with company called Centricity. They are a joke in getting coverage approved. Never buy a GE product again.

      Combo washer/dryer is the worst appliance we have ever owned. It can take up to 6-hours to do a load! Stay away from this appliance. There are several different places you have to clean, including a filter that is hidden behind 2-doors and a screw out part that needs to be cleaned at random times.

      Terrible costumer service!!! Cooktop leaking gas. Gas turned off. 10 days wait for them to cone to the house to check it out! Brand new cooktop!!
