1 starWe placed order in early January for a washer, dryer and range. Paid in full. Was given delivery date 3/7/25. I called to find out what time delivery was going to be that day. I was told it's been canceled because we don't have the dryer. Yet when ordered I was told it was in stock. They didn't even call the day before. The young lady said they sent an email last night canceling my delivery. She then said she noted that she could split the order and deliver washer and stove on 3/12/25 and by then she said they should have a delivery date for dryer. We schedule my son to be here Wednesday the 12th. Today the 11th I receive a phone call from GE home delivery at 645 am while at work, driver said I'm in your driveway. Now I have to use 2nd vacation day which roughly costed me $800. 00. Now we have to cancel July's vacation because GE Appliances can't keep a commitment or notify of changes. I will be returning all of the items in six days if I cannot get fair compensation and my dryer. I was lied to 3 times today about the stove owner manual. They said it needs to be downloaded. The Hispanic delivery person who couldn't speak good English failed to leave it. I called him back 5min after leaving. He said it's in the range drawer. No it's not. It's on his truck. If you ever want to buy GE Appliances do not use GE APPLIANCE STORE OR BODWELL . I TRULY REGRET DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. W are looking to purchase to refrigerators a microwave and ac upgrade. They lost my business. We've spent time and money going to laundry mat. Also f ed me over as a veteran.Review fromAleksandr M.

1 starI am extremely frustrated with the ongoing issues with my washing machine repair.
We purchased the washing machine on September 27, 2024. The washing machine stopped spinning to drain the water from the clothes.
We contacted the Service Center under warranty. The first technician who came said that we need to order a control panel and left. We waited a whole month until the panel was delivered.
On December 27, the technician came, replaced the control panel, did not wait for a full check, said that we can use the washing machine. The washing machine still did not work. The first check repeated the same thing. We contacted the Service Center again and we were given a new date. The next technician came on January 21, 2025. He replaced it with a new control panel, but the result is the same! None of the technicians even checked whether the washing machine was working properly before leaving.
I called them, but they do not want to come anymore and I also do not want to see such technicians. GE is not a fair company to deal with. We bought all General Electric appliance and do not trust it anymore. It's been about four months without a washing machine. Paid $558.00. This will be the last time I buy a GE product and I will not recommend your company to anyone else.
I want my money back. I am afraid the machine will be faulty and flood the repair I just did.Review fromCharles B

1 starIf there is ever a way to put down less then 1 star I would do ot.
Bought GE Cafe, Stove, Dishwasher, Refrigerator and Microwave in mid 2020. Took almost a year to get everything. Stove had to get repaired once, Dishwasher had issues installing the bottom plate. Stove has issues with the vent, the Microwave is the real issue. Since then Microwave has gone out for the foth time. 1st time 11/23/2022, 2nd 06/30/2023, 3rd 11/23/2023 and now 03/09/2025, The parts and service to fix it are not ideal. GE covered two new Magnetrons and I have paid for one and will be ordering a new one this evening. The tech said last time I would be better off doing it myself and made sure I knew what tools and parts I needed. Whatever you do avoid any and all GE appliances! Never again will I buy another GE product again.Review fromDori P

1 starMy review is the same as all the rest on this page! Bought my washer about 7 months ago, then it quit working. A technician did come out when my first appointment was scheduled as this was within the warranty window for a defective product and diagnosed the problem. He said a part had to be ordered and scheduled a follow up visit for them to come replace it. That day, at the time they said the tech was arriving, they called and said the scheduled technician called in sick.
They rescheduled for another day four days later. I tried to call and find out when they would be arriving, but they are closed today. I really hope they show up this time. :-( What has happened to GE? They used to be the best! I am so disappointed in their quality. I would suggest you knock down their BBB rating because they are no longer A+. I would rate them a D-.Review fromMary M

1 starWe purchased washer/dryer combo GUD27ESSN1WW in sept 2022 for over 2,000. Within in the first year, the dryer handle came off, and had to purchase another one
A month ago we needed the washer locking mechanism replaced which cost us approx $200, and now the control panel needs to be replaced which is going to cost us another $240 plus installation. I called GE and was told that the only thing they can do is sell us the control panel at 1/2 price. nothing else. They wont fix it for free, they wont even give us the part for free, when we still have to pay to have it installed. they are offering us a 240 part (cost to me) for half price
We will never purchase another GE appliance again.
Horrible customer service, horrible quality.Review fromEddie M

1 starI purchased a GE PVD28BYNBFS from Home Depot March 2021 for over $4,000. A year later I started having problems with the refrigerator. Most recently I called the warranty department for the ice maker not making ice and leaking. They replaced the ice maker. The unit continue to leak from the water dispenser. I called again about the leak. The technician noticed the leak and connected his computer to the unit to find out what was the cause. He could not figure out the cause. He called his office, and they could not figure out the cause. I am left with a leaking refrigerator that doesn't keep the ice solid and its leaks. Now the digital panel on the display is out that is on top of the pull-out drawer due to the leaking water that has damage the components of the digital display. I am unhappy with GE. I constantly have to mop up water. If I could have given this a zero rating, I would.Review fromBobbi L

1 starWe bought a ge dishwasher from Lowe’s in Dec 2024 got connected in Jan. 2 weeks later it stopped working called Lowe’s for a replacement they told me I only had 48 hours to returned. Really?? Who has it hooked up so quick ? They didn’t care said I had to go through ge. Also awful had to wait 2 weeks for appt, then day of got a call from repair man tells me by reading what’s wrong he knows problem but has to order part had to wait another week, then day of waited between 1pm and 4pm they call me at 4:30 to reschedule next day. They didn’t even care, he came next day, didn’t even need part that we ordeeed needed different one. And fixed it .Now 9 days later stopped working again!! Same problem called for a new unit and they said no needs to be repaired. Another week for appt. I blame Lowe’s too could have avoided this just by replacing for me. Even bought a refrigerator also from Lowe’s month previously and they delivered damaged inside and out. Had to wait another month for replacement. Told the manager at Lowe’s that too to let him know the dishwasher was second appliances from there in few months thinking he would accommodate but no way! Never again!!Review fromLeah-Michael V

1 starHands down, the worst customer service. I feel bad for their customer service receptionists that have to coordinate things for GE/Bodewell. I've spent over a month being stood up by GE technicians who won't fix what they say they will, never order the part needed to fix things - they don't even bother to show up, and then, lie about it! Good thing I have cameras.
I have had to buy more clothes for me and my family because a GE washer I bought back in October broke in January... I've missed several days of work waiting around for them. Every time they don't show up to fix said washer, I get another two weeks added for repair time and have to buy more things to cover their mess up.
Absolutely unacceptable. And then their poor CSR's have to soothe ruffled feathers for straight up incompetence.Review fromSheri D

1 starI purchased the GE Profile Washer/Dryer Combo in July of 2023. We have had to have warranty work 3 times in 18 months for a different issue each time. Every time I have to call, it's a struggle to get a competent person to help schedule service. We've had to have the heating pump, water pump, and mother board replaced.
This machine is a lemon. It should not require thorough cleaning 2-3 times weekly. I have to clean the filter with a scrub brush and soapy water after each use. I had to purchase special brushes to clean the inside of the filter area. I had to purchase vacuum attachments to get in hard to reach areas.
I'm currently trying to RESCHEDULE a third appointment because the repair technician did not keep the appointment time. It's like they have no respect for their customers who have to work. Are we expected to just keep taking time off to wait for someone who doesn't show?
Why did I spend over $2,000 for a washer/dryer unit only to have to spend $300 every six months at the laundrymat when the machine breaks AGAIN. The only resolution I would accept at this point is a complete refund.
I'm completely disappointed with GE and Bodewell.Review fromAlyssa W

1 starI am completely disappointed and may file legal actions against GE for selling a faulty and possibly dangerous GE Cafe Refrigerator. Though beautiful to look at, this fridge has been nothing but a problem. The side plastic drawers can hold very little weight, (maybe a mustard bottle) otherwise if you place a few items on them, they crack and break. The worst part of this appliance, is I noticed plastic/paint floating in my daughters and my drinking water. The ice maker had plastic/paint coming out with the ice, in which we have been consuming for who knows how long! I would NEVER purchase this machine again and may soon be filing a legal complaint. Please save yourself time, money and your health and do NOT purchase one. Thank you.
