      I am filing this complaint regarding DraftKings decision to permanently close my account without sufficient explanation and their refusal to release the remaining funds that were in my account at the time of closure.On or around 05/12/25, I discovered that my DraftKings account had been closed. I reached out to their customer support to understand the reason behind this action and to request the return of my funds. Despite multiple attempts to contact their support team, I received no clear explanation and have been repeatedly denied access to the balance that rightfully belongs to ***** a paying customer who used the platform in good faith, I find this practice unacceptable and unfair. DraftKings has failed to provide transparency or honor their obligation to return my remaining balance.Desired Resolution:I am requesting a full return of the funds that were in my DraftKings account at the time it was closed. Additionally, I would appreciate a clear explanation of why the account was closed and assurance that my personal information is not being misused.Thank you for your time and assistance in helping to resolve this matter.

      I was questioning their thoroughness of canceling my withdrawal and they locked up funds in my account I cannot access. I let them know I need the funds ASAP and it's idiotic they didn't review my deposits and withdrawals thoroughly and they escalated and locked my account and thereby keeping my $400.

      May 3, 2025 I created a new Draftking account to bet on the Kentucky derby race . I correctly created the account and added my debit card information withdrawal information and completed the transaction. My bank showed draftking took the money from my account. The account to bet on the Kentucky Derby kept saying zero balance for three days I assumed I put the money in too late and that it had to clear over the weekend before I could use it. Monday turned into Tuesday and no money was in my account that I created with DK. I was unable to bet the race and created the account against my better judgment. I assumed this company was legitimate. It is not. They have a scam to take money from people. I cannot reach them by phone. There is no person or ability to speak to a live person. Customer support is a Chatbot who gives me zero help. They also have an email which I reached out to customer support with numerous times and they said they cannot find my transaction. They said they were going to put in a ticket and investigate further. Nothing has been accomplished. I am getting no answers with them or any further correspondence . I want a refund they took my money. My next step unfortunately is to close my card through my bank and report this as fraud. Draft King received a copy of the transaction from my bank statements and still did nothing. I think they are taking money from new accounts and unfortunately, there was no proof of it because it doesnt show any receipt in my draft king account whatsoever. Something needs to be done with these scammers. The company is not above board with everything. They are probably doing a lot more and the gaming commission needs to be investigating.

      I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. This company took ***** from my debit checking account and will not resolve the  issue. They have not reached out to me nor sent any type of refund. Please help shut  these scammers down !

      On April 25, 2025 I deposited $20 onto DraftKings, a online sports book betting app. The money was put in there from a bank account so it was not took in right away. On April 29, 2025 I was restricted from accessing my account, I read the email that I have stating that there was an issue with my bank resulting in what looked like a chargeback however the money just didnt come out of my bank account. So I deposited $25 right away on April 29 into my DraftKings account to pay off that balance even though I already had money in the account. They took the money to pay off that negative balance but they left my account restricted where I cannot access it and withdraw the $51.81 that I had remaining in my account. I figured it would just take a process for them to open my account after reviewing what had gone wrong. Today is now May 10, 2025 and Ive been trying to get in contact with them about this issue for many days. The second day of my account being restricted I talked to an agent over the phone and he told me that my account is being sent to an investigations team and would be open in 5 to 10 minutes however this was never to happen and every time I keep asking about how much longer account will be restricted when Ive paid back the negative balance and I cant withdraw any of my money. They just tell me that they cannot give me any details and this morning they told me that I am not able to access my account and to check back in 1 to months. They also sent $20 back to the bank account on May 9th, ******************************************************************************************************************************** the account .i am contacting you guys because I think it is not right that I paid them back their money that didnt come out of my bank account due to my banks errors. I dont see why I should be penalized when there was already money in my account for them to take. I am just trying to get my $51.81 I won from this company.

      I believe draftkings to have cheated.They accepted my two 50 dollar bets, on a game called Rocket. They money left my account and the round ********** was an extremely rare outcome on this round and ended with a 1000 times payout. I was shocked and thrilled!!! This would be a ******* payout!!!However, after the round, instead of receiving the winnings. I was given a refund of my bet, with no explanation.I contacted them, they claimed to look into it, then communicated they were not changing anything.       So over the course of about three years, and most recently as today, I have had issues with my draft kings account. I have tried to have these issues resolved with customer service NUMEROUS times with no luck at all and eventually ended with them closing my account. I am now attempting to open a new account and cannot be helped. I have requested numerous times to speak to somebody over the phone to assist with no avail. It is impossible to speak to somebody over the phone and I have now lost any promotions I had with my account and cannot make a new account due to any attempt being "locked". I feel their customer service practices are awful and there is no way to have anything resolved that is above an automated system giving you FAQ suggestions. Please help! I want my account back.

      I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. They still have no possible way to speak to a representative over the phone and the "customer service" via email is quick to dismiss problems and cease communications without resolving the problem.

      I won a bet during the Super Bowl , as soon as i log in to withdraw it I was locked . I reached out they said I was in violation and they would investigate . I gave that a few weeks still locked , reached out asked what violated they kept saying I let some random account log in my account . Which is false they said a ***** name and I have 0 affiliation to any Jamies. I explained this asked for a supervisor , who then said investigation wasnt done Im cleared . I went to reset my password per their terms to log back in. Just to be locked , reached out again once again restricted due to violations but now its been over 2 months still no update still not being given any details on what I violated . Just withholding my funds . With no proof or investigation turn around time .

      5/08/2025 I ***** 55 dollars on a bet. Upon playing bet it stated that ********* temberwolves yo win by 14+ in the second half. As the game ended I stated that I lost. I contacted draftkings sports book about matter they stated to me that my bet had lost. Then they stated that ********* only one by 7, because they did not cover. The final score was 117 to 93. In total I would have won *****.

      I deposited 300 dollars into account on ********************** and realized I needed it for a bill. I tried to withdraw the money and account was closed. They are not giving me the money back and saying they will not give it back because they closed my account. The money were not winnings from the app and was solely mine. For them to not give it back is is questionable when it was ,one to begin with.

      Complaint Against: DraftKings ****Category: Withholding Funds / Unfair Business Practices Date of Incident: 05-07-2025 Statement:I am filing this complaint against DraftKings **** for wrongfully withholding my account balance without providing a valid reason or evidence of any wrongdoing. After using their platform in good faith, I attempted to withdraw my legally earned funds. At that point, DraftKings suddenly restricted my account and claimed I was ineligible for withdrawal due to account status.Despite following all their verification processes and complying with every request to restore access, once my account was finally reactivated, they denied my withdrawal and refused to explain why. They directed me to their generic Terms of Use but offered no specific violation or justification.This experience has been incredibly stressful and unfair. DraftKings strung me along for weeks, made me verify my identity multiple times, and only once I requested to withdraw funds did they decide to close the door on me. This feels predatory and deceptive like they were fine letting me deposit and play, but once I won money and asked to withdraw it, they made up a vague excuse to avoid paying.I am requesting the BBB to intervene and urge DraftKings to either:1.Release my remaining funds immediately, OR 2.Provide specific, detailed reasoning with proof for the denial not just a blanket reference to account status.This treatment is unacceptable for a licensed and regulated company and should not happen to any other customer.Desired Resolution:Full release of my remaining balance Written explanation of any alleged violation Public accountability to prevent this from happening to others
