Their team was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect carpet for our homeboth in terms of style and budget.What really stood out was the convenience and speed.   Exploited and Underpaid Avoid Working for National Floors Direct My husband was hired by ******** ******** at National Floors Direct and worked there for three months. He was promised commission-based compensation in addition to minimal base paybut he never received a single commission, despite putting in long hours, extensive travel, and real effort to succeed at the job.The amount of driving he was required to do was absolutely unreasonable, and he was constantly disrespected by rude and miserable coworkers. The overall environment was toxic, unprofessional, and draining.This was a complete bait-and-switch job offer. He was misled, underpaid, overworked, and ultimately scammed out of the compensation he was promised.We later found out our experience wasnt uniquethere are many similar complaints and even a lawsuit from *** citing deceptive practices by this ********** not work for or trust National Floors Direct. They dont value their employees or customers, and their business practices are unethical at best.

  Company has withheld two paychecks that I am still owed. According to their own agreement (Section 3.2), commissions should be paid for sales completed before the resignation date. To this day, I have not received any of those payments.From my first day, it became clear that this company does not treat its sales team with professionalism or respect. Management frequently cursed at salespeople over trivial matters, creating a toxic work environment. Despite asking ***eatedly, there was never clear or consistent communication about commission amounts or payment schedules. The contract claims commissions are paid monthly (or sooner at the companys discretion), but in practice, it felt arbitrary and lacked transparency.The so-called base pay they advertise is not actual payits a draw against future commissions (Article 16 & Days 3190 terms), meaning you essentially start in debt. The expectation is to work 60+ hours a week, often driving *****+ miles weekly, with no reimbursement. Worse, its common to drive 23 hours to an appointment only to find out it was canceled days prioran issue that could be easily fixed with better scheduling **************** heavily encourages misleading sales tactics, including mis***resenting products and pricing. Price gouging is rampant, with customers routinely charged thousands over market value. Yet, sales **** are the ones held responsible when installations go wrongoften resulting in withheld or reduced commissions (Article 2.2).The company often references a top-performing *** (e.g., "***** ****") who supposedly earns $5,000 per week. What they dont mention is he works 1012 hours every day, seven days a week, and receives the best leads. When former employees raise concerns, the companys default response is, You didnt read the contract. The reality is the contract is vague, leaves too much discretion to the company, and stacks the deck against independent contractors.

  I had a fantastic experience with National Floors Direct! From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Their pricing was incredibly competitivemuch better than other quotes I receivedwithout sacrificing quality. What really stood out, though, was their outstanding customer service. Every representative I spoke with was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making sure I was happy with the results. The installation team was punctual, efficient, and left everything spotless. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Highly recommend National Floors Direct for anyone looking for great flooring at a fair price, with top-notch service to match

  In reference to my order # MD14214, National Floors Direct is an impressive, well organized company! Less than 24 hours of my scheduled install time, I wanted to change my floor color selection. Called the *** phone number after hours, and couldn't believe the main office returned my call within FIVE minutes. She did the change order for me and I digitally signed via email. Install day: the crew arrived, they were pleasant, English speaking, and addressed all my concerns. They heard squeaking in my flooring prior to install and he nail gunned my sub floor to the floor joist without me asking. The floors were installed flawlessly, and they did an amazing clean up job as well. I received a gift card for my time in posting this honest review, but this review is my 100% honest review. I've used **** and Empire before and their product and installs were very disapointing. National Floors Direct was a great experience!

  We were told by our sales representative that we did not need subflooring as comfimed we had wood floors. Much to our surprise, the floors guys came in and said our floors were not wood and we needed subflooring at an additional cost. We never would have made the purchase had we known that. We contacted our representative and relayed what we were told and he said, "not on my dime". Well, it's going on almostc3 months and our representative has ghosted us after leaving several messages fir him. Totally unprofessional and I would definitely not recommend them.

  National Floors was an exceptional service with great staff and would highly recommend if you want your floors installed correctly and efficiently! The install crew was extremely friendly and left my home clean with no mess. **************** was very kind on the phone and answered any questions that I had. Reminder emails were sent and they were on time. I would highly recommend them for any of your flooring needs!

  Salesman ******* ***** was good at selling a product that wasn't delivered. Per the installers, the salespeople do this all the time. The main issue was we had agreed to floor leveling, which we were told *** could do. After the late arrival of our installers, they began removing the old floor. Upon beginning to lay the new floor, I noticed they hadn't leveled the area, I stopped the work, to find out that the crew sent were not equipped to level the floor, and their work order did not mention floor leveling. I had to go to ********** during the install to buy supplies so a small area could be leveled, and the new flooring laid. The entire room needed to be leveled and wasn't, only a small area which had a drop off. Had I not agreed to allow the work to continue, the installers stated I would be charged up to $1800 as a cancellation fee, and I would have been left with no floor. **************** also amended my warranty to exclude the area that was leveled (still waiting on a call back from them). To make up for the lost time the installers (3 of them) all worked from a different room which caused transitions to be placed at 2 bedrooms, instead of a seamless flow throughout the house (it looks pieced together). Upon completion, large areas of gapping in the floor were noted which was filled with silicone by the installers, as well as unfinished trim work. The installers also took the tool we bought from ********** (theft). I have written to and spoken with a customer service manager, who blew plenty of smoke up my buttocks. This was a horrible experience, I hope no one else has to go through this. Please do not use this company.
