I give three stars for the gas because eventhough isnt as good as ****** ,it is a little better than those in nearby gas stations. As for the foods I consider it is low quality. They don't have much organic produce. Meats are good compared to local supermarkets. Fish is mostly farm raised few wild caught. Eggs are organic but not Pasture raised. As for allergen free isnt hardly anything . Kids candy is all bioengineered anyway. I buy the membership for their gas, toilet paper and bottte water. Sometimes I buy meats and fish if wild caught. As fir their automatic enrollment I have to cancel befire the due date. It is a real pain when we get a membership cheaper with a coupon and they enroll me automaticaly to charge full cost.I have to cancel everytime. . They can do better!

I find that BJs uses a deceptive practice regarding their membership enrollment at checkout. I never agree to the automatic re-enrollment and even confirm this with the service desk. But yet BJs will take money from my account WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. Though they claim the re-enrollment is asked at checkout, even the self-checkout, I find this practice highly deceptive as the only question Im asked if this is my legal name. Also trying to get reimbursed is a nightmare. I am still waiting for my refund past their 10 business day policy. Why is it they take (unauthorized) your money but take forever to give it back?

They do not know how to treat their employees. They are making credit cards mandatory when nobody wants that people get in debt with that. My manager even told me his job is on the line if we dont get a credit card how is that fair to us? They need to work harder to keep their employees. We are already extremely tired. I lose sleep some nights because Im so incredibly overworked and stressed there our *** it feels like he doesnt care about us. It feels like he cares about credit cards more than treating his staff correctly and making them stay. I have been in that company for 10 years and I have never seen that company so horrible to their employees ever. Its the *** that doesnt know how to do anything, its making me wanna quit. .. I understand in todays world they werent credit cards, but it should not be mandatory for employees to get it. Theres other things that should be more mandatory like showing up for work not credit cards that nobody wants if people wanted them they wouldve signed up by now.

I cancelled my BJ's Membership late last year and it has been more than couple months that i have not received my membership refund. I have called several times to their call center and raised my concern with them but everytime someone would promise that i will get my refund but still there has not been any resolution on this. This is really a frustrating experience. REf # *******

I was charged ***** for a membership I never ever signed up for. I then had to spend some time on the phone with them getting it reversed. I was shocked they could even do that. I went with my niece to shop for her and wanted to pay her bill to help her out. That was in October 2023, February 1st comes around and thats when I got charged the *****, what kind of craziness is this. When I called my credit card they said that they have gotten a lot of complaints regarding this same situation. They should pay me for the time I spent correcting their illegal way of doing business. This should really be looked into because Im sure they get a lot of people who dont check their credit card bills carefully and are probably paying for it and are unaware. Shame on Bjs.

I purchased a membership and ordered merchandise on the same day. The order for the merchandise was cancelled by BJ's since they were unable to find what I had ordered. I called and requested a refund for the membership fee since I had no use for it if I could not purchase what I had requested. All of this happened within 5 hours. The charge and refund should have cancelled each other out the same day. It has now been 3 weeks of waiting for my refund. I have talked to representatives on the phone and via email. I keep getting told it takes 2 to 3 weeks. It has now been 3 weeks and no refund. This company has kept my money and has been earning interest on it. I had to resort to fraud / charge back proceedings with my financial institution. Needless to say, I will not ever set foot in one of their stores again and would caution anyone who asks not to do business with them. Had to leave a one star review here because there was not an option to leave a zero star review, even though I wanted to leave a negative star review.

BJ's won't stop sending flyers after half a dozen requests over years. They're a pathetic imitation of more responsive warehouse stores.

****'s has a habit of at the time of check out asking to put your membership on auto - renew. At the same time they ask you to confirm that you are really who you say you are. When you leave the store, you find that your credit card will be charged for an automatic renewal when the expiration of your current membership is up. They do it so subtly that you don't even realize you've authorized this as you are contending with the check out process. It's not a scam, but it sure runs close, and if you don't pay attention, you get a $55 surprise in a few months.

Membership renewal works like a bait and switch. This is a corporate issue. Received renewal notice in the mail for $55.00 plus tax. Then saw offers on the internet for renewal for $20.00 for the year. This was offered by BJs, not a third party. Did not indicate new customers. I called BJs 800 number to ask for $20.00 deal. They knew nothing about it. They asked for screen shot, which I sent. The usual waiting on hold, speaking to a higher up etc. Then a rep told me that I had a BJs One membership so it did not apply to me. Bjs One is the *********** credit card, so that info was wrong. BJs website only offers 2 types of membership, basic and upgraded. Rep finally told me he could not over ride the system to give me the reduced rate. Someone from another **** would call me back that day. I called back later, someone finally offered me $25.00 renewal. I accepted as I was tired of arguing about it. But $25.00 is still not the advertised price of $20.00. This was on Feb 5 and they are still offering the $20.00 on internet. Someone did call me back 2 days later but I had resolved it. How can Bjs publish this offer and then not honor it? Customers should not have to argue about it.
