      This review applies to the company as a whole, not any specific location.I wanted to purchase an item on sale from their website. I was first told I could purchase it without a membership, but that did not work. Then I signed up for the 24-hour online-only membership, but that did not work. Eventually, I had to purchase a standard membership.Then the item I received was clearly opened and re-sealed, and the accessories box was missing. They sold me an open-box/returned item, which they failed to properly verify, as if it were brand new. Very deceptive.I contacted support for assistance, but they would only allow me to return the item. Since it was now out of stock company-wide, I couldn't receive a replacement, and there was no indication of when to expect them to be in stock again (if ever). And no indication that I could receive the item at the same sale price.They also claim they cannot issue a partial refund because it will void the warranty, but the item is registered properly with the company so that seems to be a deceptive practice they engage in to avoid properly resolving the issue.

      I checked out and didnt do the coupons online and didnt know to do after spending 800 dollars between my daughter and I, BJs didnt care about helping me get some of the coupons after I went to customer service to ask. This is ridiculous since my husband and I live on a fixed income. They could help me get credit for what I am sure is over a 100 dollars worth of coupons. I am very annoyed that they did this and didnt care about helping us at all.

      In August, we received a flyer from BJs Wholesale Club offering a one-time discount on their gasoline if we purchased certain products over the next 30 days. They identified products which would qualify & said the discount would have to be taken within a month of the purchase of the first identified item.Over the course of 4 weeks, qwe aid 3 visits to the BJs Wholesale Outlet in ******************, **** for the primary purpose of purchasing items they had designated for a discounted gas purchase. We spent a $567.97 on merchandise, not all of which qualified for the discount. We would nonetheless not have spent as much money had we not visited that store.We completed the 30 day gas promo within the specified timeframe, determined that we had earned 60 cents off each gallon. went to a BJs pump on 9/26, and swiped our card. The regular price showed up so we didn't buy gas and went to another pump believing that perhaps something was wrong at the first one. We never completed a transaction because we felt that filling our gas tank without the promised discount would disqualify us from purchasing the discounted gasoline within the required time frame that BJs had posted. We took the receipts into BJs on 9/27 & were told by the customer service person that we had used the offer even though she saw that no gas was purchased. All she added was that had we pumped the gas, the savings would have shown up on completion of the sale. Nothing in the ad said the savings would show up after the gas purchase.On following through via email with BJs main office on September 27 and attaching copies of our purchases, we were informed that the matter would be investigated and that someone would respond. Its been two weeks since they acknowledged our complaint, which seems to say that this was indeed a scam. Im also filing a complaint with the ************************ since the flyer came through **** & the *** because I believe this was fraudulent.

      I have been in this store several times and this place is absolutely ridiculous . It starts with the fact there are never enough carts to items being sold out. ****************** and their customer service is lacking, Dirty looks to the eye rolls and the comments made to co workers etc. Nobody at this store seems like they would like to work, I am not sure if it is under new management but the last two weeks have been horrendous. So I came in here to purchase some things, and. noticed that there is a gentleman that was visibly wet from soiling himself. If I had bought groceries this day, they would have been returned. This is a health issue. This is food and someones bodily fluids. I know people that have worked for this company over the last few years. They seem to over work the people that would like to work, to the point of a burn out. The gossip mill that is this so called place of business, to where I know who people are hooking up with and how is disgusting to say the least. I do not care to know this information. There was a lady that worked membership that was very nice. Her name was **************** believe. The other membership team members should maybe look for something that isn't customer service based as they don't know what a customer actually wants or how to talk to them. For paying to come here, and being treated like this is horrible. I witnessed someone raising their voice because they had to work I guess what was past their shift and proceeded to make discrimination remarks about the boss. Nothing was done, as she is still there I won't be back, and will take my business to ****** or ***'s Club where I am appreciated and don't have to deal with this.

      Please do not shop at this location. They do not have enough carts for customers. The manager expressed they are stolen on a regular basis. The manager also expressed someone on the outside has the key to unlock the carts. Really?Customers are now forced to follow other customers in order to get their cart in order to shop.Please make this situation make sense!

      This store never has items that are on sale until the sale is over. They will remove the sale items from the shelves and replace it with their ***** Farms brand or sometimes say they don't have it. I've noticed this on many occasasions and have asked others if this has happened to them and it has. I've done online orders and when I get to the store to pick it up (becasue the order was confirmed), they then tell me it's out of stock. I actually saw an item in store today that they told me they no longer sold. This is bad business!! I just to make others aware and to at least bring this to their attention.

      Although ****** BJ's representative handled my concern. I'm not completely satisfied until the proper action has been taken. When you steal from your employer/customers you should be terminated. Threw BJ's I made a door to door delivery and conveniently my detergent along with fabric softener was stolen by dasher Walqueryri. I spoke with ****** BJ's representative and he confirmed the items were available and included in the delivery order. Why weren't they delivered to me? Where are the items? I also, have a door cam that can verify the items that were handed off. For all future deliveries the dasher should take a photo of the items delivered. Then we can eliminate theft!

      I have buying tires at BJ's club for many years, mostly because of the free tire rotations/balance. Made an appointment and I went to get my tires rotated and balanced today, 9.23.23, with an appointment already scheduled. I get there and am told I need to prove I bought the tires there. There's no record of my purchase with my membership card? They can track what coupons I use, but have suddenly lost my $800 tire purchase. I was told the computers have changed and the info was not transferred. I had proof of every rotation they did at that store, and that was not good enough. I was lucky enough to find the original sales receipt in my car, after having to walk out to my car numerous times. The female employee who was helping me, was doing everything in her power NOT to help. That included making belittling comments to her co-worker in front of me. They were treating me as if they were trying to drive me out, so they didn't have to do the work. When I went to get in my car, the tire pressure monitoring system light was on. I was afraid to go back in and ask about it. I had to have my husband take the car to a service station to put air in the tires they just worked on! Obviously rotating tires is very unpopular with the staff. When I asked to speak to the manager - the female employee helping me said there isn't one, and that she was the closest I was going to get. I went to the front desk and asked for the store manager, and was told he was not available. I definitely will not be buying tires from Bj's again after this experience.

      Never ever going to store again and canceling my membership asap. Joined in June online and on a senior citizen trip to bjs September7th 2023 went to the store . Located at ************************* flushing queens in order to pick up my membership card as instructed the representative at customer service-she scanned the email on my phone with the membership card number.Got the card and soon after exited The very next day at bjs.com located at *********************************************************** someone somehow at 4:36am depleated ****** from my son's food stamp benefit card. I never even showed his card and no purchase was made At store or anywhere else. How did they even get the pin#. Called several times customer service which says only my June membership monies show on my account nothing else!

      The employee ls in the deli behaves as if they own bjs, no respect, no manners. A man (no name tag) was suppose to be assisting me with my deli order . After cutting it and I was how he did it i told him i I dont want it. He says i have to get another ticket *** join the line again. Which i did. My turn again (and I am being told there was no more turkey) SMH.
