I honestly dont get why CREDIT CONTROL SERVICE is reporting this debt under my name because I dont owe them anything. I never signed anything with them, and when I asked for a copy of the original application, they didnt even bother to provide it. Its frustrating because this is hurting my credit for no reason, and its just not fair. I recently reviewed my credit report and noticed a collection account that I do not recognize. This account has been reported to all bureaus, but despite my previous requests, it has not been removed. I have no contract or dealings with the company associated with this account, and I have never heard of this collection before. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) 15 USC 1692, it's illegal for a collection agency to report false information to the credit bureaus. This unverified information is damaging my credit score and causing me a lot of stress. I'm asking you to remove this account from my ********************** report immediately. The credit bureaus should verify any information before it goes on my report, and not doing so is against the law. Thanks for your help with this.Business Response

I am a victim of identity theft coz when I received my credit report last few weeks ago, I found out that there were unknown addresses there that I never lived in, accounts that I never opened, inquiries I never made, and even variations of my name such as ******* *******, ******* L *******. True validation should not be simply verifying the original creditor. Validation must have the requisites to enable it to be recognized and enforce by the ****** ****** v. We are disputing a charge from ********************** as we canceled our service and were charged for another month. The charge was disputed with ******** and they attempted to communicate with Orbitel...there was no response from them. Case of dispute was permanently closed.
