DO NOT FINANCE WITH THEM... BEWARE!!!! Bought electric cooktop from ******* 1/2024. Setup everything over the phone for finance. Never received anything in the mail (No welcome letter, no account number) and nothing e-mailed to me. Out of sight out of mind... Come mid-May 2024 I get a letter I am late while never receiving anything to guide me on where and how to pay. They somehow already set me up with a username and password that I never registered myself b/c I never had any account information and never informed of the login info. Somehow I am on electronic billing, despite never receiving any e-mails, and I NEVER do electronic anything since I like using the mail for an added reminder when I get the bill to pay it. My credit rating has never been below 760... now they are saying I am 100+ days late for something I never received a bill. Worst yet I have a position in the federal government where my credit dropping below a certain level puts my job at risk linking me to a security threat. Talking to customer service, which they should really rename to "Bill pay service" since they do little in helping customers. If you are thinking of buying something and hear "TD Retail Card Services" as the lender... don't walk away... RUN!!!! Will never finance at any cost with them ever again.

They have an awful website. Decided I wanted to increase my monthly payment so I've been overpaying on my car loan , but TD bank has flaged me on late on payment although I've been over power resulting in a 100 decrease in my credit score. Despite the numerous phone calls, issue wasn't resolved and credit still hasn't gone back up.

I paid off my lien in 2012 for a 2009 Chrysler Town and Country. However, the release of lien was never mailed to me. When I sold the van three weeks ago, the Secretary of State of Michigan said the lien was still active. TD Auto Finance, now handling Chrysler Financial, failed to release the lien.I have contacted them multiple times over the past three weeks. Initially, they told me it would take 30 days to get the notarized letter. Despite informing them of the urgency, they insisted I provide a *** number for overnight shipping. I opened a MyFax account on April 29, but as of May 14, they still havent faxed the letter. They claim it was mailed on May 2, but I have not received it, despite standard mail taking only 7 days. It has now been 14 days. This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. They are heartless and inefficient. A mom of two is waiting for this letter so she can drive the van I sold her. I call TD Auto Finance daily, but the letter has still not been faxed. DO NOT USE TD AUTO FINANCE. Their customer service is the worst; every representative gives me a different story. First, they said 30 days, then they claimed they would escalate the request, and now they say they will email the lien. This is ridiculous. The Better Business Bureau needs to address this issue because this bank is not fulfilling its responsibilities on a PAID auto loan from 2012. TD Auto Finance claims to be in **********, **, but they told me they are in North ********* How can a lien release letter take 14 days from **** to ********? This bank needs to be held accountable, and Chrysler (Stellantis) should ensure this doesnt happen. I will not be a repeat Chrysler customer because of this experience.

I was the victim of a scam and fraud case that involved my checking acct. While I alerted the bank on time for them to put my checking acct on hold, I was advised by their fraud agent that my mortgage payment (done the same day) would be honored and that the payment would go through even though my acct was on hold. Long story short, the payment was never sent and my mortgage company is charging me a late fee. I'm disputing the fee with the bank as they are telling me that the payment was sent but because they sent the payment with a different name than what it was requested, the payment was returned and never paid. Now I'm not only a victim of fraud, but I'm also responsible for the mortgage fee because the bank would not take responsibility for it. Every time I call, I get a thousand explanations, and every time I am told something is different, I always end up very frustrated because of the lack of help from the bank, and the issue at hand is still unresolved. I never had a prob with this bank, but this experience just left me with the most disgusting opinion about them. DON'T DO BUSINESS W THEM!

They created a policy about deposits into your bank account that allows them to ask people who do not hold accounts with them for their social security number, and deny the deposit if they refuse. They never notified me in writing of this change. In this instance, my mother who is not an account holder, went into this branch in an attempt to make a ***** deposit into my account for my birthday. I live remotely and she lives in ***********They then asked for her social security number, information they arent legally entitled to as a government id is considered in most situations, to suffice. I consider this a strong reason for other consumers to avoid this corporation.Never supply a social security number to an organization you do not hold a financial relationship with.

TD Bank will steal your money like they stole mine I had $11,567 in my account. I moved to *******..took 10 calls a letter and another five calls over a span of 5 years to close the account they told me that I was only going to get $49 and the rest went to fraud internal department so who really pocketed that money they said the money came into my account but under a different person's name if that was the case why didn't they send the money back to that person. Oh but wait they took out $3 every month for statement fee..so they could touch the money but I couldn't. That is bull c*** now they told me they cannot talk to me over the phone anymore that I would have to come down there make a 5-hour trip to talk to someone in person I'm telling you people don't trust TD Bank. I wouldn't even give them one star but I had to.

DONT DO BUSINESS HERE. POSSIBLY RACIST OR XENOPHOBE.I started my application on April 1st and then received a letter that told me to call their hotline. After doing so I was ordered to go to a local bank and show my ID, which I did on April 10th. The bank teller looked at me like I had a massive tumor in my face, when I explained what I have been told. It took the staff a combined effort of 30 minutes to figure out how to proceed with me(I'm the first! hurray! Maybe because I'm a foreigner). After I have completed this I was given application number 9068661.Today is May 6th. After calling the bank 4 times I was falsely redirected and then when calling the apparent hotline for applications, they're currently not answering calls. I've waited 15mins plus twice during opening times and never reached the support hotline. Now that the application process is just a big waste of time, support is unhelpful and TD Bank obviously doesn't care about doing business with foreigners, I would advice everyone not to do business here.
