      On October 14, 2022 my wife and I pulled into a Unified Parking Partners parking lot in ***************, ** to go to dinner at the *********** Restaurant right next to the parking lot. Upon parking the car we walked over to the restaurant (20 yard away) to see what the wait times were (to see how long we needed to park) and to get change (to pay for parking). Within less than 2 minutes we were walking back to the lot to pay and a parking officer was issuing us a citation (#********). We explained that we had literally just pulled into the lot and explained that we were just about to pay (this parking officer was also incredible rude). Immediately after receiving the citation my wife emailed Unified Parking Partners to lodge our dispute and provided all of the same information provided above. The only correspondence we received from Unified Parking Partners in response to our dispute was to provide them "the last four digits of the card used to pay for parking." This completely ignores the fact that we explained we had received the citation before being able to pay for parking and that we were PAYING IN CASH. If this were not enough we received a "Notice of Delinquent Payment" on November 14, 2022 showing an amount due of $63 but when I went to pay the citation (that I still dispute) it showed that I owed $103 because a $60 late fee was assessed on November 13, 2022 (before we received the notice). This company already runs a parking lot in an area where there is no free parking so there is no need for it to resort to Unfair or Abusive acts on top of being a monopoly.

      We are sorry that you had difficulty with your  parking.  We were able pull up your correspondence to our company.  It appears that the enforcement t department had asked for more information as they had believed that you had paid for parking and also received ia citation.  WE did not receive any folow up communication until this complaint. None of the locations that we manage in ******* accept cash and are CC only and each of these locations are pay to park as indicated on the signage within each lot.  Feel free to reach out to at our office if you would like to discuss further.       We paid for parking as required on Sunday 11/13. There was no option for print receipt, only text. No text was ever sent to confirm the 2 hours we paid for to my wife's phone. We came back to our car within the hour (less than what we paid for) only to find a citation. This place is a scam. Only cars with out of state plates had violations. We want the citation dropped immediately.

You can see this by logging back in to the system where you initially placed your appeal. It seems as though when you entered you plate number a O was put in for the 0 which is why the plate was not recognized by the software. This has been resolved. Have a good day.

      I paid at the kiosk with my credit card, $7.70 for an hour. No receipt was given. I went in to establishment to pick up something from a friend. Not even 30 minutes later, I come out and there's a ticket for $63 bucks! I immediately contact the company to appeal. This business is predatory. They are ripping people off and hoping many will just pay it!! I paid for an hour and was there for 30 mins tops .       The citation number is ********: We were traveling to ******** ** area and utilizing the parking near the piers, had been parking since 1pm and moved around a few places due to max **** restrictions. We have paid for all the durations, and over 40 dollars in total for parking on the day, receipts attached. For the last location in zone ***** the parking expired at 11:25 PM on a Saturday night(10/15), we returned to the car just minutes after to extend the parking, and found there was a ticket issued at 11:27PM. 2 minutes is ABSOLUTELY unreasonable window of period for extension. and to charge 63 dollars additional with a steep late fee is an excessive amount given how much we already paid on the day. Will be filing a complaint to the city, please take a very close look.

      Hello, 

      We are sorry that you had difficulty with your parking.  We were only able to pull up one transaction with your company that matches your vehicle. Any other transactions would have been with another company. Our enforcement agents monitor all of the lots on a rotating basis using license plate recognition software.  This software determines if the vehicle is active or inactive in our parking system.  Enforcement agents are not able to see how long a vehicle has been expired just that the vehicle is not active in the system which is why you would have received the $43 citation. Any citaiton has the ability to be appealed by going to the website listed on the ticket, by email at ********************** or by phone ************.  Thank you for understanding.

      Hello, I had a mistake happened today - I've got a ticket from private company ** Parking *** which we did not deserve. I took my son to ******** ** to see university and spend 3 days at the beach, first time in years. But the shark entrepreneurs are always hunting for tourists, apparently. I've stopped at ****************************** at ***********************************. We stopped to check the store but when I arrived at the shopping area, my son and I went to take the trash out and check the for the bathroom FIRST. We had to go around the corner of the shopping center, as there were no trash cans in the yard. When I and my son were passing by the lady overseeing the parking, I looked straight into her eyes - she said nothing. Why? If in doubt or thinking we can violate - why did not she say anything? I'd greatly appreciate it! The ticket has a record " walked past me and all shops and past mini donuts". If she were looking us closely - why did not she behave as a normal human and warned us? We later got back to the store, and I reparked the can 15 min at the Public area "Easy parking **" and paid for 1 hour parking to go to the restaurant nearby (please see a parking receipt attached). I'd not go repark my car if I knew I someone attached at ticket to my car. This is unacceptable. The rules of parking should be clearly stated that we had to check in with parking lady - otherwise shoudl we all be scared to go drop a trash? This is VERY unfair to me. I'm single mom and every cent counts - I can't pay for this nonsense. I made an eye contact with the lady - could she say something to me or ask about our intent? or advise. Why people only think of making extra $40 for you. The ticket cost is $3 if paid by Monday, or $63. I'll not pay it and need them to apologize. Appreciate your help to get this resolved. Uploaded the parking receipt for when we went to restaurant. We never intended to park there and go to restaurant!Thank you ******

      Hello, I am sorry that you had difficulty with your parking.  The area that you parked in is pay to park with proper signage located through out the lot. The attached parking payment receipt is for a lot that is not associated with this company.  When pulling up your citation I do see that the enforcement agent discounted the citaiton to $23 which can be paid by going to the website listed on the ticket.  If you have have any future issues feel free to reach out to us directly at ************.  Thank you for understanding.

      Yes, the attached ticket was for another lot that I moved my car to. I left it there to attend the restaurant and eat with my son. As you can see the difference between the ticket and the parking receipt is 20 min. I indeed intended and wen to the store, yet had to go around the building to take the trash out (there are no solid trash bins in the area) and to take my kid to bathroom (that was urgent and we're humans!). If the parking agent saw me (she indeed seen , as our eyes crossed) and if she saw I'm violating the rule by walking around the corner - she should have told me. I'd greatly appreciate it, since the exact rule of where we should walk or where not was not noted. Indeed, there was a green sign that I parked against saying that it stow away zone, but did not specify its for shoppers only. I figured its for shoppers but had to run around corner to drop garbage and find bathroom. Agent is in duty and could warm me, but instead he/she went to the car straight and put the ticket. She did not allow even 10 min. I honestly stayed there for the total of ***** min inlc checking in the store an dmoved the car to a paid parking lot to go for dinner. I'm kindly asking to help me here, as I did not aim to violate any rule here and the signages should be more clear that you can't walk around or away of entrances of the noted shops. We're all moms and dad and deal with kids, that already challenging and should help each other other than take any moment as the opportunity to claim money.

      Tonight 9/24 I parked at Unified Parking Partners facility in ********** Beach. The charge was quite high at $8.80/hr. To avoid going into the second hour I drove early to the exit to find the attendant dealing with the payment process and chatting with each of the 3 drivers in front of me. By the time he was done the screen said I had gone into the next hour by 1 minute and was charged for an additional hour. I went ballistic and the attendant said there was nothing he could do.

      I was ticketed for parking in a space that was clearly marked as being outside of their jurisdiction. This happened Sept. 23 at around 1PM. When I called. they said it was their space even though I've parked there for years and never been ticketed. this spot is in the alley in front of one city center parking garage.

      I parked in **********, ** on 9/17/22 and I believe I was issued this ticket only about 7 minutes after my time expired - I was walking back to the car to extend the meter when this ticket was issued. When I saw the ticket, no way was I going to give them any more of my money! The fine was $68!!! This is truly exorbitant, excessive charges for an expired meter...the questionable business practices around their fines are serious: while you would expect any municipality to charge a late payment fee of $5, this company charges another $65 ($133 total) - unbelievable and I will be filing a consumer protection complaint with the ************************* for their practices. I only paid the $68 to avoid the extra charge while the attorney general investigates my complaint. NEVER park at a lot run by Unified Parking Partners.

      i was in my vehicle with my wife and two children. I stopped my vehicle in a open lot next to a deli I left my vehicle, left the car running with my wife who has a valid ** license and two children inside. When I came out 4 minutes later my wife said someone in an unmarked vehicle issued me a summons. The ticket issuer was rude to my wife when she asked her a question. The ticket issuer said she saw me exit vehicle; she could have said don't stand there. The sign did not say you could not stand there it said no parking! I did not even notice the ticket writer there becaus they were using an unmarked vehicle. There was also no sign that said the lot was being patrolled by unmarked people.

      Parking violation was issued 1 hour after parking in Unified Parking lot in ************ after 3 hours of parking was paid on a debit card. Please see screenshot of transaciton from TDBank checking account. There should be no issue with the transaction pending - this is an electronic transaction at a kiosk where NO RECEIPT is issued to the customer. I have never seen a reputable ********************** institution offer no receipt and pre-pay.

      We are sorry that you had difficulty with your parking. Each meter offers the consumer the option of a text receipt but your phone number would need to be entered at the point of purchase. All citations have the ability to be appealed by going to the website listed on the ticket.  I was able to search for your citation and see that you did appeal your citation and it has been resolved. It looks like when you entered the plate that the license plate was put in incorrectly so the license plate recognition software showed a non payment. This has been resolved. Thank you.
