      On 1/20/23 I visited the ******************* in *************** *******. I paid for 2 hours of parking at the kiosk in the lot I parked. We dined for less than the allotted time and returned to my vehicle to leave with a parking citation on the windshield.I appealed the citation to FLParking Company and provided them with credit card receipt showing proof of payment. The appeal was denied out of hand. The company has the means to confirm my payment at the kiosk in question and my citation appeal should be granted.

      This ****** appealed his citation through our online portal earlier today. We wre able find his transaction in our system.  When purchasing parking time he had entered the plate in wrong causing the system to see his vehicle as a not payment.       I parked in one of ******* Co parking lots on New Year's Day to go eat at a restaurant literally in the parking lot, I paid my $10 and when I came back I had a ticket from the company for $63. Actually it was for $43 but if I didn't pay it in 3 days it went up to $63. I appealed the ticket online and received a response from the company stating I didn't pay so I promptly sent them a screenshot of the payment I made with my debit card. They are telling me I'm still responsible to pay them for this ticket which is not happening because I paid for my parking space. Please be warned if you are a tourist or resident in ******** ******* and you dare to park in one of their parking lots just know you will most likely get a ticket from these people. Good luck. FYI they also own at least one parking lot in downtown ********.

      I pulled into a parking lot across from ****************** in ******** **. It was 10:04pm I had left my credit card inside after paying for a pickup order at 9:50. Upon entering the pay lot the parking monitor a blonde woman with a red shirt and jeans on was standing by the pay station. I exited my vehicle while it was still running, my driver door and window open and asked her if I needed to pay to run across the street and retrieve my credit card that I forgot I would be in and out. She motioned with her right hand and said go ahead. I waited for the cars coming to pass I crossed the street waited for an elderly couple to exit the doorway which I then entered and immediately found the server who handed me back my card. I exited ****'s again waited for the cars to pass and crossed the street. I then found my vehicle gone. I double checked I was in the right place which I was and saw the parking monitor standing on the sidewalk to the left. I walked over and said where's my car? She said maybe next time you should read carefully and pointed at a big metal sign with a phone number for ***** at ******* parking CO. I called the number several times and the mailbox was full. I said nobody is answering to the parking monitor she said pay for parking and I'll have the driver turn around. I went to the pay machine and paid the $6 fee and then I was told to call fastway towing and deal with them directly. When I called and spoke to a very nice girl she said my car was hooked up at 10:05pm. The time of the that call was 10:08pm. I informed her my car was running, keys in it the driver door and window was open and all of my personal property in there. I asked if they turned the car off or towed it running? I was put on hold for a minute and then told the parking monitor turned it off before the truck hooked it up. So 1. I was scammed by the monitor falsely told it was ok to run in.2. She then scammed me again by telling me to pay for parking 3. She illegally entered my vehicle.

      We are sorry that you had difficulty with your parking.  The surveillance equipment shows that the driver of the unattended vehicle departed the car and left the lot without speaking to an attendant or paying for parking. The company employee did not enter the unattended vehicle.  At the directive of the owner of the location this lot is strictly enforced.       This is NOT the first time this business has attempted to defraud me personally.Unified Parking Partners **************************************************** Maine ************ UnifiedPortland.rmcpay.com Re: CITATION ******** 12.9.2022 I have no intention of paying this- certainly not the amount on the CitationI went to pay the flagger when we pulled in and he told me to take a space and use the meter. So we did.No rates posted anywhere. Yep makes sense you now have a captive audience! We read the directions twice. The card used had to be inserted 4 times before it was accepted [ meter needs to be repaired!!]. Read the screen and was told 3 hours $21.00. !!! We were not offered a place to enter how much time we wanted so with no choice , we finished. We knew we wouldnt get a receipt [ one of the company games so we cant file a dispute?? ]Went to the Merrell and were there under 3 hours. Came back to the ticket. So I went home and read the ticket in full, front and back. Pay in 3 days and get 33% discount is $42.21 NOT $43.00! So you round-up to make your bookkeeping easier?? And when one types UnifiedPortland.rmcpay.com one gets some alert about site not secure- no way are you getting any financial data from me And is threatening a violator with such things as may ****** Credit Rating, Vehicle Registration, License Renewal legal? I am certainly going to challenge that legally with a copy of this to my personal attorney, ****************, and the Maine State attorney generals office

      We apologize that you had difficulty with the parking meter. Parking fee amounts are located at each meter.  The prices are dynamic and can be hourly or a flat parking rate for example in the instance of a special event. In addition to multiple meters in the location in which you parked there are also options to pay for parking by using three different apps on your phone with directions to do so listed on each meter.  All meters were showing active transactions during the time of your parking citation.  We were unable to find proof of payment by searching your plate number however if you are able to provide proof of payment we would be happy to void this citation for you.  Please feel free to send proof of payment so ********************* or feel free to reach out to the oiffce at ************.

      On 11/3/22, I paid for parking at Treasure Island in the amount of $13.20. When I returned to my truck that evening, I had a ticket on my truck indicating I had a citation #******** and a fine for $63.00 for Non-Payment. I thought this was an error as I paid when I parked that day and have a record showing this in my bank account. On Saturday 12/4, I received a notice in the mail from ** PARKING ** stating Notification of Delinquent Payment for Parking Violation #********. I went to their website to dispute, and it now shows I owe $103.00!!! It states You cannot appeal any more. Past the appeal date. This appears to be a scam as they are just attempting to rob us as much as possible with this parking fee mess!

      The signage for this company was deliberately confusing as to when free parking would be offered. They then attempted to bill me with an escalating parking citation at an absurd rate.

      I parked in a lot near ********** restaurant on 11/18. There were no visible parking signs or pay kiosk. I return to my vehicle to see a unified parking ticket with escalating fees based on a schedule of payment. citation #******** I want a full refund as space was not marked in any way that I could see. I will not be paying this citation as it is unjust and unlawful. Spaces need to be clearly marked. They are not.

      It is inaccurate to say that the parking area was marked at all. I see no attachments but I was there. I don't need the company to go out and produce photos after the fact to say that the area was marked. Probably in broad daylight and not at night. This company has predatory practices in ******** Maine as evidenced by all of the complaints seen at BBB and on yelp and other formats. They have an escalating pay system that does not match the public parking pay schedule by the city. I see no place on the website to file a complaint. Delete this charge immediately. I will no longer use any parking area used by your company but you need to vacate this one ticket. I certainly would not pay for an illegitimate charge that by the way has escalated while waiting for a company response. The company places boots on vehicles on public roads which is a violation of property rights. 

      Delete the ticket and we'll go our own ways.

      I parked in a lot near Friendly toast. I received a citation for $43 and if not paid within 3 days $63. I parked next to a handicapped car that was crooked and my tire was on the line. The citation states that I was taking up 2 parking spaces and that there are signs with this rule. I saw no signs of this particular rule, nor in your app, nor did I have to sign and agree to the rules when paying. Also, this lot was already a rip-off requiring a min of 3 hours when I only needed 1 hr, the app and kiosk auto-selected the 3 hours for you. I don't think it is fair that I received this when I was just trying to be kind to the person next to me so that they could get out. I also don't think it's fair you are charging people min # of hours. Downtown is pricey and ****** already went out of business. Why are you making this such an expensive place to visit, no visitors equals no money for you too. The ticket time was 2 minutes after I got out of the car you could have asked me to move it, rather than ticketing me while I was at the kiosk. Attached is one of their signs in an adjacent lot with no mention of this parking rule.

      I received a parking ticket for $63.00 while parked in front of the ******************* where I was having breakfast yesterday morning. I did not see your signage, which differs from official signage in appearance and location, nor did I see your kiosk, which was set well back from the location in which I parked. I dislike the concession approach to parking but certainly would have complied or parked elsewhere had I seen the signage. The signs are on the side of the building and the colors blend with those of the building. I feel that your intention is not to make an honest buck here by purchasing and leasing parking spots but to create a situation in which you are able to collect exorbitant fees on a regular basis by puttying up discrete signage that's likely to be overlooked by the uninitiated. This really ****** me off.I will allow a reasonable period for you to reply before elevating this to a complaint about your business practices to town government.Thanks for your attention to this.
