Two days in a row given a citation when I paid both times. Attached my payment for This past Saturday . Honestly I feel I need a refund and the citations removed. They need a better system and you need officers not so ready to issue tickets. Once I can live with but twice in two days is excessive. I moved my car and found another parking spot They are refusing to issue any refund saying their sign says if you park there you agree to pay. I did this but then they issued a citation for non payment ten minutes later. I enclosed proof but I moved my car as I was sick and tired of getting a citation. I found a parking spot on the street. They said I would need another receipt to show I moved my car. But its free parking. I just am tired of big companies trying to bully people and not living up to the services they claim to Provide but when they mess up (twice) they no longer want to help customers. They still attack them and wont refund a simple 8 dollars.Business Response

Last evening we parked in zone ****-***************************************************. At the parking lot we were only able to pay for a maximum of 2 hours of parking . Due to the traffic in this area and being a handicapped individual. There were no other spots available. We were on vacation in this area. My permit number is *******. I had no other recourse but to park in this area. We had literally arrived back at are spot within **** minutes beyond the 2 hours and noticed a parking ticket. Citation # ********. We were shocked as the meter did not allow us to purchase anymore time than the 2 hours, and navigating through the heavy crowds delayed us to our getting to our spot. It was so expensive to park in that spot to begin with and then we received a fine for $63.00 we were appalled. And if not paid within a certain time. The fine went to $93.00. We feel that we should not have received a fine and would like to report this matter.Business Response

Parked ********************************************* 10/13/23 next to a parking meter labeled zone **** and activated ParkMobile app 6:18pm. Kept the parking time active until return with 5 minutes remaining on the app. Found citation on the car for $68 alleging it was a **** zone. Deep in the same lot was a kiosk with that zone. A pay sign was at the street level pointing in the direction of the closer meter (which was also in line with the distant kiosk). Phone calls to the customer service number on the citation that night and the next day give a continuous busy signal. They claim if you pay within 3days you only pay $35.50 but fines escalate thereafter (an obvious hook to have you give up and hurry up to pay. THIS IS A BLATANT SCAM and unless they make it more clear which zone youre parking in, they have no right to issue such citations and the city should shut it down.Business Response

On 09/30/2023 at 3:38pm, I parked my car, plate number ** HRW304, in a lot controlled by UPP Global. The address of the lot is ******************************************************. I used their kiosk to pay for 2 hours of parking. The kiosk indicated the cost per hour was $6, plus a 10% surcharge. I selected two hours of parking, inserted my credit card, completed the transaction, and was then informed that my total for two hours was $22. I feel that this business is committing fraud and preying on tourists - it's foliage season in ** and many people visit. I would like a complete refund to my credit card as a good faith gesture from UPP Global and a promise from them to address this PROBLEM! I received a "citation" regarding my vehicle parked in two spaces. This citation is timestamped 6:56PM. My payment text is marked 6:52PM. Where is this parking attendant hiding? The parking lot is gravel so no parking spaces were marked. What is this company's gimmick? Wait for vehicle owner to walk away and write up some citation demanding an "early payment" to receive a discount? The flcitations.com website looks very shady. I do not feel comfortable adding my credit card information only to have my information stolen and then I have to deal with bogus charges on my bank statement. In all, if this company wants to write citations for parking spaces they need to do a better job of marking them in the first place!Customer Answer

On 06/29/23 I received 2 parking citations while parked for the day in ******* Maine, zone **** *******************, plate Maine 9688YN.The area is marked "24 hr parking" and I payed with a credit card, however I had received 2 citations for "expired meter" when I returned to my car at the end of the day.Citation #******** at 4:43 PM, and Citation #******** at 11:14 AM Nowhere is there a physical meter or any signage saying parking is hourly and must be re-payed hourly. I attempted to call the phone number listed, but was told by the automated system it was after business hours (approx. 5:10 PM). I left a voicemail as the system suggested and requested a call back. I never received said call back.I don't find it reasonable that an area posted as 24 hr parking and has no physical meter would charge a fine for being parked there over an hour. I was given a parking ticket however there were no "No Parking" signs in the area. I took video and pictures showing that there were no signs. My specific case has been resolved because they removed the actual fine of the ticket, however the company is still breaking the law by giving tickets for not abiding by ******* law (Florida Statute ******) with parking lot signage:Florida Statute ******:
If there are no curbs or access barriers, the signs must be posted not fewer than one sign for each 25 feet of lot frontage. b. The notice must clearly indicate, in not fewer than 2-inch high, light-reflective letters on a contrasting background, that unauthorized vehicles will be towed away at the owner's expense.
You can see the attached picture that the company giving tickets is not abiding by ******* Statute ****** because the signage is not correct. This company should be sued and shut down as they are illegally giving tickets.Regards,

The parking at ***** Pass is certainly not customer friendly. Instead of having one company handling the pay by plate kiosks like other smart venues JP uses have several. This means if you move parking places, the next space may run by a different vendor. There is no clear messaging to let customers know of the parking vendor change. Beware or you may receive a citation from UPP Global. They are extremely devious and have info printed on the citation that I have brought to the attention of the ** Atty ******** attention. I was told the amount of the citation would be reduced and asked for it in writing. I asked for a phone number to their corporate headquarters. I have not received either. I am *****************************, a handicapped individual. On Friday June 23rd, 2023. Myself and my partner that is also handicap attended a church Buffett in ********* *******. When we arrived at the site the church parking lot was full. We decided to park in a spot next to the Cemetary. We displayed our Hadi capped placard in the window. We were in the church for 20 minutes as we took our food with us. When we got to the car there was a citation for parking on our windshield for $*****. The citation said if paid within 3 days you would get a 33% off. or if paid after 30 days the fee would Dubble to $126.00. Failure to pay could result in bad credit, suspension of your license and your registration. We approached the person that was issuing the citations and he said he only doing his job and walked away. I paid the citation in order to get the 33% off and then decided to report this to BBB *******. I am handicap and my placard was in full site. Is there a law stating that people with handicap plates/placard park free? I didn't see a machine to get a parking ticket. I just feel that a ***** parking ticket for 20 minutes is a bit much.
