      On May 28th, 2023 my son and i decided to go to the beach. you could not find parking anywhere, we found a spot, i quickly pulled in and parked my car. i told him to go to the parking meter and pay for parking. my son returned and stated mom its $55.00 to park here i said HECK NO!! lets go!! i packed my stuff right back in the car and left immediately. Monday I saw there was $55.00 fee from **. Parking *** that was in a processing state. i proceeded to check my bank tuesday and saw it was still processing. Wednesday 05.31.23 i checked it again and saw the charges hit my account. I called the **. Parking *** explained to the gentlemen the situation, I told him i asked my son to pay, he came back told me the amount and it was way to expensive so i left. i told him my son stated he did not confirm the parking and that we did not stay. I asked if he could please refund the money as we did not utilize the parking space. he said he would not refund and pretty much too bad. I said sir, you can not refund this to me out of good faith and common courtesy? i did not park in the parking lot as it was way to expensive - he flat out told me no again and proceeded to tell me there is no refund. I didnt stay - $55.00 is ridiculous - all i want is for them to do the right thing and refund me for services I did not receive. Thank you

      I paid for parking at the kiosk with a credit card and the license plate number of the vehicle. I returned before the allotted time was up. Today a month later, I got a letter in the mail stating that my truck was parked in violation. Tomorrow is the deadline for the fine escalation. I never received a violation notice on the truck on that day. This is such a scam to extort not only the parking fee, which I paid, but the fine and the chance that tomorrow the fine will be escalated. An absolute Fng scam to say the least.

      I'm not satisfied with their reply. I'm not chasing after them... They can contact me directly at **************** re: ** tag PTT I32

      I've attached the receipt that shows the violation number and the fine as paid. The issue at stake here is the fact that I DID pay to park there. I received NO indiction of a violation at the time. Only at the last possible day "before fines are escalated" does their notice show ** in the mail. That is a scam practice to get people to "pay-up"!

      I was told by the parking attendant at UPP Global North Beach Parking that the rate to park in the garage was the same rate as on the street so I may as ********* in the ********* trusted the employee was telling me the truth since he works in the lot and I should be able to rely on his information as accurate. When I left the lot, I learned the price was much higher than the price on the street and the lot was in fact much more expensive than parking on the street. I was told a lie by a parking lot employee. Had I been told the truth, I would have parked on the street. I am a federal government employee and I will report this to the highest level of every state, local, and federal agency that protects my rights as a consumer.

      Hello,

      Upon the customer's arrival at the lot, we duly informed them and as they entered, they passed by a prominently displayed sign indicating the parking rates. Subsequently, the customer expressed their belief that they could have parked closer to the beach for the price stated. Despite our attempts to provide clarification, the customer ************************* adamant and shifted blame to our employee for the parking cost.

      We reiterated to the customer that it is the customer's responsibility to verify the ********************** rates. When we informed the customer about passing the sign displaying the rates, they claimed that our employee was obstructing their view of the sign. However, it is important to note that the sign is both highly visible and prominently positioned, ensuring it can be easily seen by customers.

      The customer requested to speak with the regional manager.Following this request, the regional manager promptly contacted the customer and endeavored to explain that it is the customer's duty to verify the pricing.However, the customer disregarded the manager's explanation and insisted on having the parking cost set at the same rate as street parking. Moreover, the customer made reference to their acquaintances and implied that this issue would be addressed by the many people he knew in the government. Furthermore, he mentioned the presence of recording devices in their vehicle.

      I parked in a parking spot in ****************** to grab food quickly,and no signage was to be found that stated that it was an all-day parking fee only. I provided these pictures to the *** parking company as proof. When I put my credit card in to pay for the one hour that I was going to be there, they charged my card for an entire all day $33 fee. Once I pushed next in order to change the time, it charged my card $33 automatically. They are liars and thieves and lied about the situation and the machine

      As previously mentioned, our parking meters offer a comprehensive service beyond mere billing for parking. To initiate the process, customers are required to input their vehicle's license plate number and proceed by selecting the "next" option. Subsequently, they are presented with the cost section, which provides information regarding whether the parking lot operates on an hourly basis or offers a flat rate for all-day parking. In the case of the latter, customers have the choice to either accept the rate or utilize the cancel button available on all of our meters, allowing them to opt out of parking at that specific location. It is important to note that our meters do not automatically charge the customer's card.

      The card is only charged when the customer consciously presses the accept button, which is situated in the final step of the process. Once this action is taken, the customer's card will be charged according to the rate displayed on the meter. Additionally, our system enables parkers to request a text receipt for their transaction. All pertinent rates are prominently displayed on our meters, empowering our customers to make an informed decision before proceeding.

      Working an event across the street at The **********.Parked there for convenience.Im in @ 9 am Out @ 6:30 pm Was charged $99.00 on my card.I have parked there before for the day for far less than 1/2 that.Stay away from these rip off artists.

      I purchased parking at their lot ******************************************************** at 9:25 am on May 1, 2023, transaction no. ****** from meter 03022044-3022044 and placed the receipt on my dashboard as instructed. My parking was valid until 11:59pm but at 10:18 am I received a ticket in the amount of $56.00 for allegedly not paying for my parking. These people are scam artists.

      Tried to pay at the parking lot behind Pirate's Square, ************************************************************. Neither the two point-of-sale machines nor the text payment functions via cell phone worked and a have their message saying so. (attached). But yes, there was a ticket for $63.

      25 April 2023. Used the pay by plate parking at *********** at approximately 2 pm. It was a 30 dollar fee. I entered my plate number and it told me I was good until 2am on the 26th. The pay meter said no receipt would be given, so no proof to place in the widow. After only walking the shops we returned to find a citation for $63 on the widow. Sure appears like a scam system to ** with no recourse.

      My husband was getting out of the car. I was gathering a credit card to pay. I was moving slowly because I have a hurt ankle . A young woman walked up to the car from behind and put a ticket on the window. I told her I was getting the credit card and I would move the car.       On 4/14/2023 I parked at ************* to have lunch with relatives accompanying us from ********** and my son who was on his lunch hour from a business in ********. I tried to use my credit card in a meter, then my wifes card the cards werent working, we tried the meter on the other side and again no luck. I then moved to another space and again could not get either meter pointing at the space to accept a couple different cards. The parking area was full so I couldnt keep moving my truck. We went and had lunch and of course we returned to find a ticket. I have no issue with paying for parking and there should be a phone number on the meter to call if problems arise, I dont have the parking app so that wouldnt have helped in the moment. I used my credit card to pay for lunch and at a parking garage at another location in ******** the same afternoon so it is not the issue.
