On 4/8/23, I parked at their lot in ******************. We went to a restaurant directly across the street. We were there not more than 90 minutes, yet I was billed $44.00 as if I was parked there all day. I know they had an attendant that was taking pictures of license plates every hour, so they had to know I was not there all day. I don't mind paying for the service I got, but it seems they overcharged me.

On March 22nd, 2023, I parked a car in the Unified Parking Partners garage in **********, **. I went to the kiosk to purchase parking time. I put my card in but never got a slip showing that the transaction went through. When I returned to the car - after attending to my business - I found a parking citation on the window of the car. I paid the parking ticket that day via my grandson's phone. Because I was not sure my transaction had gone through, I waited until my bank statement came in to confirm prior to fighting the ticket. Attached is the proof of payment for the parking ticket for $43.00 and a photo of my bank statement showing the transaction at the kiosk and the debit to my account for the ticket I paid. While my kiosk attempt and payment of the ticket was on 3/22/23, my bank statement shows a processing date of 3/24/23. I would like to be reimbursed for the $43.00 ticket I paid as I had, in fact, purchased parking time via the kiosk.Thank you.***************************.

I paid for parking at the lot machine near ************** in ********** and was charged $17.50 for 3 + hours but only received a phone text receipt. Upon returning to car after 2 hours I had received a print out of a citation for $63 stating I hadnt paid. I appealed and sent proof of payment I had received via text message and proof my credit card had been charged. Appeal was denied but citation was discounted to $23. I paid it, then my husband read online that the citation company is scamming people and the citation is a fraud. Had to cancel my credit card and dispute the transaction.

March 29, 2023 I received, in the mail, the first communication from ** Parking ** that I had an outstanding parking citation. (Citation ******** issued 02/26/2023 )Prior to the above communication I had no idea I had a parking violation. Never found anything on my windshield never received an email never received anything in the mail other than on March 29.From the photo they sent me it was clear that I was in fact in violation, all though not intentionally.I was happy to pay the original fee of $60 but do not believe I should be paying a $30 late fee since I was never informed of the violation. Had I been informed I would have paid it promptly. On March 30, 2023 I paid, with my credit card, the $60 original fee and $30 late fee.I am respectfully requesting that my $30 late fee be imbursed to me.Thank you for your help in this matter.*********************************

On 3/17/23 at approximately 4:30 PM I parked in a private parking lot in ********, ** managed by FL Parking ** (a private company with no municipal affiliation). I entered payment information in an automated collection touchscreen system including license plate and credit card payment information. The screen responded that the fee was $25 for parking until 1:00 AM, but did not provide a receipt. The machine was apparently faulty as the payment was not processed, and I received a citation for $63.00 issued at 5:48 PM on 3/17. I appealed the citation on March 17 when I returned home and noted the circumstances above, and offered to pay the original $25.00 fee but not the citation amount as the collection device was faulty. The appeal was denied on 3/20 with no explanation. This company is clearly engaged in predatory practices as the citation is designed to look like a legal municipal/governmental citation (which it is NOT), and the ** attorney general has stated that this private company cannot force collections. I am willing to pay the original parking fee but not the citation amount as I should not be penalized for a malfunctioning fee collection machine.

The station instructed to remove card and messaged stating a fee of $25 for parking until 2:00 AM. The collection machine appears to be malfunctioning, as the person ahead of me also could not get a receipt. I am certainly willing to pay the original $25 fee online if this ticket is adjusted to that amount, but I will not pay $43 because of a non functioning collection machine. Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.

This response in nonsensical and appears designed to be a nuisance for the following reason: all of the information requested was included, or part of my initial appeal which was denied. I could not even file the appeal without entering the citation number, and as the citation issuer, the company already knows the state and exact location where the citation was filed (**********, *******). They requested last four digits of the credit card used and the amount paid, but the appeal clearly stated that the digital payment entry machine was not functioning properly, and the transaction was not recorded and my charge account not billed. I did not know that until after I had been issued the citation and penalty charge for nonpayment. I offered to pay the original assessed parking fee of $25.00 but not the additional citation fee assessed, because the failure of the collection machine to charge my account was not my fault.

      Regards,

      *******

I was issued a parking citation by ** Parking ** in ********** ** on 3/12/2023. I paid via credit card for a 2 hour period beginning at approximately 4:30pm. I was pulling out and leaving the parking lot at 6:05pm. I checked out from the restaurant at 5:54pm ( receipt uploaded). This firm as numerous BBB complaints filed against them. I had family visiting to the area and decided to go to the beach with them. I parked in a unified parking run lot. I started my alloted time at 3:05, which was good until 7:05. I paid a premium price to park ($26.40), and still got a ticket from United parking. I was issued a $43 ticket that quickly turns to $103. Not only did I pay their fee, and had time left, I get to have this illegal ticket damper my mood all night, with threats of Liens of my license and title, diminished credit and the revocation of the ability to rent Cars. I should not have to go through an appeal process when I paid and am just trying to have a nice time at the beach, with my visiting family. I will not park in anymore Unified Parking lots anymore, as this is unacceptable. I have submitted my proof and hope to resolve this. They don't even put any contact info on the ticket to contact them. I shouldn't have to dispute a ticket, they should DO THEIR JOB.

If I am over the allotted time then why does my photo of my parking receipt show me having until 7:05pm? Obviously something is fishy and I was illegally ticketed; either due to incompetence or your machine is faulty.

On March 9th, I parked at the parking lot near Daiquiri Deck in ********, **. The parking lot charged roughly $7/hour, with a 2 hour minimum. When using the digital meter present on the lot we paid roughly $15 at 5:24, and the machine said our parking was good until 8:24. While this was an additional hour than we had paid for, we trusted the machine, and went on our way. When we returned to the vehicle at roughly 8 o'clock, we found a parking citation (Citation # ********) for $63 on our hood. Due to the deceit and discrepancy from the digital meter, we were issued a citation. I believe this should be corrected by removal of the citation, and reimbursement of the parking costs due to the additional time we've had to spend trying to reconcile this predatory (operating in an elderly community and advertising false rates/times) business behavior.
