      I visited a restaurant in ********** and used the pay parking lot across the street. I entered my license plate number in the pay kiosk and paid the fee with my credit card. The machine did not provide a receipt but accepted my payment. 2 hours later I returned to find a citation on my windshield. The attendant could easily checked the machine to verify payment. It is clear this is nothing more than a scheme to steal from tourists!

      We took our Grandchildren to ***** Pass **. on 2/24/23 and parked in ** Parking lot (private) put our credit card in the meter which gave us till 7:53 they put a citation on our car at 6:35 with a picture of our car and license number with a fine of $63.00. We paid on **************** $17..60 and we called **************** to verify that they charged us for that amount for the time of 7:53. We were told that this is a scam that has been going on in these private parking lots but never the less we were very upset and we refuse to pay $63.00 when we have a receipt and were in the right.

      The company hired a person who waved at ** on the street and suggested that we park in this paid parking lot in downtown ********, telling ** it's only 6 dollars for two hours and after 8pm it's free. We were surprised to find at the automatic pay booth that it's actually $6 per hour. It was about 6:30pm. We paid $12 plus taxes. After we return to the vehicle at 9:00pm, we found a citation on our windshield with a fine of $63.00. The "citation" stated that "the plate number is not registered in our system, no ticket on the dashboard" but we had placed it right there on the dashboard on driver's side with the correct license plate number on the ticket! We have paid the fine and we request a refund.

      I parked my vehicle in a designated parking area behind the gym I have been a member of for more than 3 years. When I came out there was a "parking citation" on my windshield issued by ** Parking *** for $63. I was not illegally parked; in fact I park there nearly every time I visit the gym, as do other members and even employees of the gym. This looks like a scheme to defraud unwary patrons.

      2/16/23 got a Citation #******** from ** Parking *** for non-payment at **********************. People in front of me used the payment station and left throwing their hands in the air. I entered my license plate # and credit card. Screen displayed Remove Card. No receipt or confirmation # was given. Returned <2hrs and had a citation on windshield. Appealed online. Appeal denied. Clearly the Pay station is not operating properly. Since this lot was nearly empty on a crowded street, I suspect locals are aware of the situation. Tourists are vulnerable. I payed the $43 fine online and will dispute the charge.Willing to pay the $15.80 fee originally displayed at the pay station.

      On 12/26 we paid to park at **************** in ******** *******. When we walked out from dinner there was someone writing us a citation. We advised that we already paid. She said ok and left. We never received a citation. However, we subsequently received a late notice in the mail stating we did not pay the citation in time. However, we never received a physical citation and we were not in violation as we paid for parking. This is a bit of a scam on this company's part. The letter also stated we were past the date of disputing. I have the credit card statement where we were charged. Based on the previous reviews, this is par for the course for this company. I would like the company to check their system to show payment and cancel the charge and late charges. It is citation. ********.

      On 2/8/23 I visited an establishment on Main Street in ******** arriving at approximately 6:45 PM. I parked in a space not far from Cest La Vie Pastries. I paid for 2 hours of parking at the kiosk right in back of where I parked. Its approximately 15 feet from the driver side door. The receipt said Treasure ***** ** ********* paid $13.20. We stayed less than the allotted time and upon returning to vehicle, I had a parking citation on the windshield. The time of the ticket is 6:57 PM so I had ample time left in my two hours that I paid to park. I appealed the citation to ** Parking **mpany and provided them with credit card receipt showing proof of payment. The appeal was denied without any explanation. ** Parking ** received my payment as the transaction was posted to the credit card on 2/10/23 so they definitely received payment. ** Parking ** can confirm the payment that I see/sent them and my citation appeal should be granted.

      Parked for 12 minutes waiting for a customer at ************ Lot A in ******* ** at *********** Restaurant. Charged $9.73 in the dead of the Winter. No parking attendant. Called and was explained that only 10 minutes has a courtesy period- so in essence charged $9.73 for 2 minutes. Total rip off- way to upset the locals here. Very poor customer service with absolutely no empathy, especially towards another local company. Will be writing a letter to ******************** as well.

      You did not listen to the original issue. I drove in to pick up a customer and drove out within 12 minutes and was charged $9.41. That is absolutely unacceptable business. There should be someone at the gate.

      I was issued a citation from United Parking Partners, for parking at an unmarked space at ******************, on the evening of 1/21/23. All down the opposite side of the street were do not park signs, and spread along the side I parked were intermittent spaced UPP signs and kiosk. There was nothing posted directly where I parked. There was nothing indicating that ALL spaces were available ONLY through UPP, along that side of the street. I have informed the Porthole ************ page that I will never again bring the $160+ spent at their business, after this experience with UPP. I will go out of my way to tell all to stay away, and take your business elsewhere. I am a local and will spread the word. As for paying the citation #********, ratcheting up the fee continues the insult.

      We parked last evening, January 27, 2023 at a parking lot that had signage indicating it was a for pay public lot. We were pleased to pay but when we attempted to use the payment receptacle on premesis the box was sheathed in cloth with a sign indicating payment would not be taken for parking. Shortly after we left a citation was issued demanding payment of $43 by ****, $63 by **** and $93 thereafter. The citation carries a picture of our cat taken at 4:41 pm. we had reservations for dinner at 4:45 pm. We could not have avoided the fine since we couldn't pay due to the actions of Defendant. They charge violations far in excess of any amount that could have been collected for parking alone; quite a business model. I bet they hope nobody is able to pay. Citation number ********

The parking lot in question was closed to public parking and for permit parking only at that time that citation was received as indicated by the signage on the covered pay station. All citations are able to be appealed by logging into the website printed on the ticket. We will look in to updating signage to prevent future confusion.
