I received an email signing up for a contract will start September 1st. The email was sent by ******* Aug 28th. We are to get our trash cans dropped off before September 6th pickup and WE HAVE NOT seen any trashcans. Call the site number for residential, on has voice mail and no one answers back. WE NEED TRASH CANs by Septermber 5th for 6th pickup as noted by ****** on the phone and email already been executed.Business Response

I am rejecting this response due to couple reason:
The initial complaint was no trash cans for first pick up. Had to use my neightbors trash can to dispose of first week of garbage.. After a week delay of the trash cans, the garbage was not picked for the next two weeks in a row Septerber 12 & 19. On the 19th , I have called to cancelled my service and should have email for followup of cancellation. Have not received any email. I want an refund of the initial $52.00 & trash bins picked up and I WILL not be changed any cancellation fees.

/After having the service for 5 months, I called to cancel 8/30/24. The *** on the phone continued talking over me, I asked her to let me finish and cancel service to set up pick up of cans. She refused to set appointment, she insisted I need to pay 200 fee and would not cancel and said would continue to bill until I pay the $200-cancellation fee. *** stated on phone she could not provide me the contract with verification of a fee, I said i still want it cancelled, she aging became rude I stated I'm not being rude to you, stop talking over me and take turns- I requested to speak with a manager and she kept interrupting me until I demanded to speak with a supervisor when then she hung up on me. I tried calling again- another *** I asked for a supervisor, she kept me on hold for 15 min. I then sent an email again requesting end service and set up pick up.After being treated like this, ********** stopped as requested via phone and email as of 08/30/24 and I am not paying a 200$ fee. If the fee is for pick up cost- I will bring the bins in myself.Business Response

Per our conversation ( ******* ) , with having service for 5 months I requested a pickup date of bins, you stated a work order can take 7 days to pick up bins- I'm requesting confirmation of that pickup date - as clearly we were unable to hold a conversation in a civil tone. As you stated 'Im no longer a customer- again why should that change how you talk to someone and what response do you think that would bring?
Based on your response to what the $200 fee is for your 3rd party contract- by me cancelling service at lower rate- it saves you money. Your statement was a contradiction.
I will pay balance in full (LESS THE $200.00 CXL FEE) as you also stated you " IF I can ASK WHY to try to waive it"
Tells me it's a fee that is waivable. I am definitely unsatisfied with our service, lack of communication, rude customer service, there for no longer a customer.
Again, the initial phone call with your *** on the 30th, you should have pulled the call and done that before asking me to re explain instead of the frustration of the call.
Sincerely with regards to this being a coaching moment in public relations.

No response to the 200$ fee being removed in my final payment as I stated in email.
I pulled statement, $200 fee thats $222.50as I stated I will submit payment for that amount-200 fee
total of $22.50 as paid in full

Curbside Waste and I agreed to a bi-weekly price for there services via a written agreement. Curbside waste send me an invoice for an amount greater than the agreed upon price, breaching the agreement, before they had ever even supplied their service. When I called to have them take back their bins i was told they will charge me $200 because I wanted to cancel the agreement that they had already voided. Classic bait and switch. Resolution of this will require no charges to me and the prompt removal of their garbage bins.Business Response

Have had this buiness for a few years now as my waste collection service and due to poor service from multiple aspects to price I found a different company. When I called to cancel every time I was hung up on so I had to settle for email.During the whole time they reference a contract I signed which I believe to be expired. They would not cancel my service no matter how much I asked and I told them I would gladly pay their cancelation service if they would mail me a copy of the contract. Until then nothing. They dragged out me canceling service so long that the **************************************************************************************** effect and I have to pay them through the cycle. I am tired of going back and forth and would just like them to get their cans off my property and send me my contract and final bill through the mail like I asked several times.Business Response

I have been using Curbside Waste for both of my garbage and my lawn trimmings. They repeatedly have skipped my house when picking up the lawn Waste. When I have called about it, they told me theyll call me back and never do or that there is a truck in the area that will come and pick up my Waste, but they never do. In the past two months, they have skipped my house five out of the eight pick up days. I dont want to discontinue service. I just want them to fulfill their agreement, and also to have a responsive customer service department.Business Response

I started service with Curbside Waste on 8/1, with my first pick up scheduled for that day. No pick up. When I called, they stated there was confusion over where to pick up my bins (they should be picked up on the road behind my house, not in front). They added a note to their system and assured me someone would be by the next day for a courtesy pick up. Thirteen days later they have now missed two official pick up days and still have not completed a courtesy pick up. I requested a call back from a manager on 8/9 and again on 8/12, and as of today (8/13) still have not received a call.Business Response

I'm still very unhappy that it took two weeks and around a dozen phone calls to resolve the issue, and over five days of requesting to speak with a manager before actually speaking with one. The manager I spoke with resolved the issue and confirmed that I did in fact need to speak with a manager to reach a solution. Service has not been provided and curbside waste continually missing our garbage pick up. We have called them to inform them that they missed the pick up and are told that they will be sending a truck to collect, but they never do.This has happened on three different occurrences and we do not feel that we should be paying for their service when they are not providing the service we are paying for.Business Response

on July 31 2024 curbside was suppose to pick up a couch from my house for disposal, called on august 2nd 2024 to inquire, was told it takes ***** house from the scheduled time for pick up to happen. have called numerous times to find out when it will happen and got. the run around, told that it would happen by the end of the day etc. paid $125 and would like them to resolve this issueBusiness Response

I started service with this company 8/1. My previous provider took my garbage bins on 7/31. To this day I have no bins. I called daily for the last 5 days with no results. They kept promising that I would have my cans within 24 hours and nothing. Yesterday was supposed to be my delivery and the call-center person told me that the driver said there was an address error and no further notes provided, but on her end, she said there were no issues with my address. My garbage pick up is today and I still have no bins so she suggested I bring my garbage bags to the curb. I am 100% not doing that as these bags are disgusting and full of bugs.. This place seems to be an absolute mess and I completely regret Switching my service. Now I have A weeks worth of garbage bags piled up on the side of my driveway looking absolutely disgusting with all the heat in the rain that we have had.Business Response

I, along with several of my neighbors in **********, have experienced deceptive practices by Curbside Waste. We were initially offered one year of complimentary service as an incentive to switch to Curbside Waste. However, after six months, we began receiving invoices and were informed that we must pay a $100 early termination fee to discontinue service. This constitutes a clear "bait and switch" scheme. Had the true terms been disclosed, we would not have opted for Curbside Waste's services. I strongly advise against engaging with Curbside Waste.Business Response
