    A door-to-door salesman came and said he would guarantee to cut our garbage bill in half if we switched to them. I provided my contact info and was told someone would get in touch with me prior to any account being set up or cart being delivered. No one called me, so I called them myself and waited on hold 45 minutes before someone answered. I was not impressed and told the person I am sticking with my current garbage service after all. They told me an account hadnt been created yet, so they would make a note to disregard my info submitted. about 2 weeks later a garbage cart showed up at my house. I immediately emailed them to come pick it up and they tried to sell me on their services with an enticement. I saw through the shady, dishonest nature of their tactics and declined, asking again to have the cart picked up. In their next email they said I signed a service agreement (I didnt) so they are starting my service. I said no, pick it up and delete my account. Then I received an invoice in the mail for service. I emailed them again and they said it would be $150 charge to pick up the cart and cancel service. This is such poor customer service and obviously a frequent occurrence based on the other statements Ive read on here. Very disappointed at these deceptive and predatory business practices.

     Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The manager called me immediately and agreed to close out the account with a zero balance.

    The waste management dropped off the garbage bins without our consent and haven't come picked it up after multiple attempts to call them and ask them to. It's causing blockage in our driveway and causing a major headache. We never agreed to anything and then the garbage bins just show up one day and now has been sitting in our drive way for couple of weeks. Same thing happened to our neighbors.

    A representative from this company came by and gave us a flyer about these services a few weeks ago, but we never signed up for anything.Yesterday one of their garbage cans ended up in our driveway. I called the company to see if maybe it was accidentally put on our driveway by mistake.They said that we have active service and a $30 dollar bill that's due.From reading other reviews on ****** it looks like this isn't the first time this has happened.

    Moved into house utilizing their garbage pickup services, which I promptly called and canceled. Company came and picked up their cans. A month later, a door to door salesman came trying to have us sign up again, and was turned away. Another month after that, 2 cans were dropped off and a bill was received on the same day. The same day the cans were dropped off, I called them and told them to come pick them up.

    Never signed up for the service! Had 3 bins delivered to my house on Friday. Called them and they said they were going to pick them up and that never happened. So here I sit with these extra bins!!!!!

    We have been a customer of ******************** since May 2021. I canceled services with this company on 4/10/2024. We were told we needed to provide 30 days notice for cancelation so I agreed that 5/8/2024 would be our last pick up day. Today is 5/24/2024 and our garbage cans still have not been picked up for removal. I have reached out several times (5/16, 5/17, 5/22, and 5/24). I am at a loss for what to do to get our garbage cans picked up by this company. Each time I am told that they will be picked up in 7-14 business day. It has been well over 14 business days since the first time I was told they would be removed. I feel helpless as a consumer over something so small and routine. This should not be an issue but represents the ongoing issues we have had with their customer service over the last 3 years.

    I wanted to reach out to make you aware of an issue with a company that is going door-to-door in **********. A salesman from Curbside Waste came to our door about a month ago, claiming cheaper pricing for trash and recycling services. He took my contact info and said someone from the company would be reaching out with pricing and more information. I never heard from anyone. Yesterday, two of their waste bins appeared on our front curb. I called customer service and the woman told me there was an account in my name. She said she would delete the account and they would return to pick up the bins. I called again later in the day to confirm pick-up of the bins and she informed me that they won't be in the area again until June 6th. Considering the shady manner in which an unauthorized account was created in my name, I fully expect to receive some sort of bill from them even though I never signed up for their service. Additionally, these bins will be sitting on our curb for more than two weeks.I filed a complaint with the Attorney General and the city of **********, and wanted the BBB to be aware as well.

     I am rejecting this response because:

    I want the unauthorized account ******************** created in my name, without my consent deleted IMMEDIATELY. I want the waste bins you dropped off on my curb picked up IMMEDIATELY. I never signed up for an account with this company. When I handed over my contact information to the door-to-door salesman (******, in retrospect), I was told I'd receieve more information about pricing. That's it. I never asked for this headache and want this situation resolved NOW. I want ZERO further contact with this fraudulent company. A complaint has been filed with the BBB, Minnesota Attorney General and city of **********. You'll be hearing from my attorney next.

    called Curbside Waste in April 2024 to have the yard waste container removed as we are moving out of state and we're not going to pay for the yard waste services this year. At the time they told me that I would need to wait for a month, but that they would come and pick it up on May 9th. I called them on May 10th to see why they hadn't picked it up and they said I had to leave it out there and someone would be by in a day or so. On May 13th it was still sitting there so I called again and they told me that they would come and get it on June 6th. I explained that we are moving out of state in a week and it cannot stay here for another month. I requested to speak to a supervisor to get this resolved and they told me I could not be transferred and would have to wait for a supervisor to call me back and it might not be for 3 days. I explained that I don't have 3 days as we are moving out of state and new owners are moving in. When I insisted on being transferred to a supervisor they hung up on me.

     Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  They agreed to pick up the yard waste bin and did so by 10 am on Wednesday May 15th.  Apparently I was initially misinformed with how they pick up the yard waste bins, when you are no longer using the service.  Once I was able to speak with a supervisor directly, we were able to come to a solution.

    Last year Curbside ubruptly discontinued my service and took my garbage can without informing me. After emailing them they told me they decided to part ways. This was after repeatedly attempts at getting them to do their job and pick up my garbage at my house which they refused to do and their drivers lied about picking it up. They also kept leaving the can down by the house rather than walking it back up to the house as was the agreement and what I was paying extra per month for.They then agreed pay nearly $200 in refund money which shows how many missed garbage pickup they did. They NEVER refunded the money. When I wrote a review on ****** the arrogant owner said they " hand delivered a check to me". Complete fabrication. NEVER EVER happened. The owner lives in a fantasy world and makes things up. Mind blowing he would even claim such a thing.I'd like my nearly $200 dollars. Incidentally I wrote to the **************************** last fall 2023 and Curbside also arrogantly IGNORED THEM! Who does that. These people have some of the worse karma coming to them that I have ever seen in my life. Truly unbelievable. I was advised to contact 1) Loretto that licenses garbage companies 2) The *** and 3) The BBB of MN/ND.

    We have reviewed customers closed account and verified that customer did receive a check left in her mailbox that was cashed and cleared for $191.61. attached  is a copy  with a cleared check with customers name. This customer is not due for anymore of a refund, account is closed with a zero balance. Curbside waste has reached out to the customer and is waiting for a response. Thank you

    Never received a check. That is untrue. 

    Curbside Waste has not sent me a check for $191.61. I not only have no recollection of them mailing me a check but my bank has confirmed today that there is no record of a check being cashed. They are not being honest.
