1 starOptum Rx deserves 0 stars in my opinion. I am changing providers. Their customer service is awful. They call you and/or text you and/or email you constantly. You can tell them to put you on their "do not call" list and they say okay, but it doesn't stick. Two weeks later they're calling you again. They have called me as many as three times a day, all for reasons I find unnecessary. They have a website where you can opt out of contacts, but again, it doesn't stick, and next time you place an order, they start all over again contacting you as if you never opted out. I even tried blocking the calls on my phone, but Optum Rx uses software that gets around the blocking, so I keep getting calls no matter what. It's so completely unprofessional not to let people opt out. It's disrespectful and rude in fact. They disregard their customers' privacy. It's like having a stalker who loves to waste your time. On top of this, they are taught to use that foreign ****** polite language which also wastes a lot of time. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH OPTUM RX, do everything you can to get your prescriptions from somewhere else.Review fromSamantha J

1 starMy mother has recently been diagnosed with a chronic terminal illness that requires a "special order drug" and was given Optum Rx info for that specific drug. 2 weeks after she called the place for info about that one drug, they apparently had attempted to get her original pharmacy to transfer the info of the rest of her medications because they are going to fill them now, they said. We did not give this company permission to attempt that **ntact, nor fill any of her other medications. A week goes by and she gets a bill in the mail with one of her other medications they dont have a prescription for. Called them up and they said it was filled online. ?????? how? who filled it? she doesn't use online and i didn't fill it there. who's filling out my mom's info for drug refills that knows she's recently signed up at this place?? Seems like it can only be a few people, including employees. There's no doctor's name who filled this drug on the prescription on the bottle and this actually seems illegal. We will not be using this company. The drug's ** pay is 1.8k a month and that's insane so it's not happening. This situation was the deciding factor of if we should attempt to be able to pay the ** pay or not. Nope. We'll take the time we have without the life extending drug i guess. They had 3 weeks to fill my prescription, the woman I spoke to just said that my doctor hadn't filled the prescription- my doctor's ****** says that they have, plus I can see in my portal that they had. They are dangerously cavalier with people's prescribed medications, stay away. I switched to them hoping that their autofill online order would save me from missing doses and instead because of them I have been out of my medications for a week with no help from them. They should be put out of business, I can't believe they haven't been sued.UnitedHealth Group

****** a horrific scam company that has actually caused the deaths of people they were tasked with caring for. They were fired as the Admin to the ****************** Healht Program after they bankrupted it while at the same time failing to provide the health care it was tasked with for all the rescue workers and responders at Ground Zero. They are soon to be brought in front of Congress to answer for what they have done. Any multi-billion dollar healthcare firm that chooses to pinch pennies by outsourcing their incoming calls to foreign speaking attendants is a poor choice for a healthcare provider. Asking medical questions is hard enough, but add a hard-of-hearing client trying to converse with a heavily accented phone operator and it is an intentional act of sabotage. It was obvious that my (multiple) requests for material were treated as a joke and ignored, and it took EIGHT calls just to get some very basic literature. While the care providers in the United system have been wonderful, the administration offices of United Healthcare are a trial and frustration.UnitedHealth Group

The customer service is horrendous. They pay well on my cancer claims but my out of pocket is incorrect and I have been asking them to fix it for six months. I have the EOBs that show they claim I have to pay hundreds over my out of pocket maximum. I also have travel coverage for cancer and I have been trying for four months to get them to tell me what is covered and how to file a claim. For both issues I have talked to dozens of reps and I get the same old run around. I am going to escalate this and someone will get in touch with you. I have never been contacted back. I just keep calling in and they just keep telling me someone with call me within 24 to 72 hours.UnitedHealth Group

Suddenly canceled a long-time medication I require for a chronic medical condition. They say there is no way to appeal it-- they simply won't cover the medication. I can't pay thousands a month for it, so I guess I'll just lose my eyesight. Optum RX is only a profit machine. Take your business elsewhere.UnitedHealth Group

I went up to their website and my doctor and prescriptions were listed as in network and covered in plan accordingly to website.when I called and spoke to rep they said my doctor was a specialist and I responded with thats not what your website indicates and prescriptions were listed as covered and they werenthow about accurate information on website so patients can make informed decisions.UnitedHealth Group

Do not work with these people. I spoke with someone who was extremely rude and unprofessional then told me no when I asked to speak to a supervisor. Ive only had one good experience any time Ive ever called these people. The insurance doesnt even help because a visit is still $100. Stay far away from these people.UnitedHealth Group

I have been using Optum Mail Order Pharmacy over 12 months Never had a delay or problem processing a very life saving medication TAVALISSE for my Chronic ITP a rare blood disorder. Have to share their agents have been above & beyond outstanding in every phone call which I need to do once a month unable to process online!Last year @ CVS Specialty it was truly a nightmare twice they didnt ship my previous medication Promacta on time which had sent me to ER having to get admitted hemorrhaging ??UnitedHealth Group
