      Our coverage with UHC was supposed to take affect 10/1/2022. As of 10/7/2022 we still have not received member cards. My husband was finally able to log-in and get an ID number online. I called their member service number today to find out medical insurance details. I was rerouted 4 times and spent over 2 hours on hold in between speeding to various representatives. No one was able to give me a straight answer on our insurance benefits! What a crime to take money from my husbands paycheck and then not be able to get medical services.

      Optum RX needs to test for basic common sense skills in their core competency assessments when hiring Advocates. I sat on hold for ONE HOUR to correct an address that their system would not allow. No other company or place of business has issue with my OFFICIAL **** address, yet Optum Rxs system would not allow TWO Representatives to correct an address in the system. Additionally, I opted to take a satisfaction survey to provide feedback, at the end of the call the satisfaction survey couldnt even be processed correctly! These people are AITHORIZED to process RX orders for people that rely on the medication in life threatening conditions. Think about that! HORRIBLE COMPANY! Find another solution for your RX needs!

      Horrendous service. I have paid thousands out of pocket because they have denied claims they were supposed to cover. They keep saying that they will fix it, and they never do. They have had MONTHS to fix it and they dont. Its like I do not have insurance at all.

      I found UHC to be extremely difficult to work with. In fact, the worst insurance companies we have EVER dealt with. There is no clear explanation of coverage when a UHC representative is asked. On SEVERAL occasions, I was told one thing (with regards to coverage), then when the claim was made, it's now suddenly different. We are also passed from department to department and have difficulty getting a straight answer - at that. We are Expat Insurance members, and several times I've received a reply back from UHC saying: "Please MAIL (?!!) your claim to this American address". Do you know how long it would take to mail something to a PO BOX from overseas?? This is constantly a problem. Local departments dealing with International claims. Also, sensitive documents seem to become "lost" over at UHC. For example, I submit a claim with all the supporting documents, and then I have a request to RE-submit these documents again. Where are these personal SENSITIVE documents going? Are they being intercepted by a third party? Overall, I would NEVER recommend UHC to anyone as there are serious disorganization problems within UHC and sensitive documentation is being lost.

      Horrible company. It takes a ridiculous amount of time to do refills because they ask the same questions OVER and OVER and ask questions that dont need to be asked. I pushed the button that I would do a survey at the end and ******* put me on hold instead of hanging up so I couldnt do the survey. On hold 40 minutes as I type this. Great way to treat cancer patients, adding stress to our lifes.

      Would do 0 if I could. Complete and utter incompetence, I need my medication to live a normal life and these people mess with me during every refill and I end up missing a week or more of medication. My insurance company forces me to use them and I don't know what else to do, being forced to work with this company feels like I'm being punished.

      Terrible. Needed a short term insurance solution and this seemed like a decent option. Put in two claims and they just give you the run around. They see my claims in their system but can't tell me what to do to get them approved. They have no email address to send my documents to them, likely avoiding a record of their scam. Do not give them any money.

      The absolute worst most incompetent specialty pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Expect to be a hold for extremely long periods of time high medication cost. I could go on and on. If you have the ability to choose another pharmacy save yourself a lot of time aggravation and money and go elsewhere. The only reason I am leaving one star is I can make it any less.

      I would leave NO STARS IF POSSIBLE. I have to use Optum through my insurance company but if you do not have to use them DO NOT!It is so time consuming to have to deal with them to place my order monthly and then I have to guess if I will get it or if there will be an "Issue" that will prevent it from being delivered and I will have to go through the process of placing my order yet again. I have co-pay assistance through the provider of the product, which I constantly have to remind them of which takes more time and also keeps you guessing as to whether they will actually add the information to your account or if you will have to contact them yet again to get the information added correctly.Again I would advise you if you have a choice, Do not choose Optum.

      I have tried to remain patient with this unit of the United Healthcare conglomerate for many years; however, this last mistake they made has finally thrown me over the edge. I can no longer use this company to fill the medication on which my life depends.Their latest mistake involves trying to fill a generic prescription in a way that would have cost me a little over $1,700.00 because they said, as being filled, that was not covered under my insurance. That despite it only being $25.00 under another name and the prescription being sent to them as generic. Every time I call them they tell me the website is in the process of being updated and has incorrect information. Every time I call them I receive someone who doesn't listen to what I say and repeats back words I never spoke. Every time I call I speak with someone so difficult to understand that the issue goes unresolved.Yet, because of the conglomerate, I am not allowed - literally not allowed - to use my insurance to get my medications at a lower cost at another pharmacy where I have no problems with receiving the correct medications at often substantially lower prices and can communicate with understanding from both parties.I have printed off the website which contains NO pricing information for 90% of my medications. I have also printed a copy of the prescription that OptumRx decided to fill at the astoundingly higher price, as well as the order information - which has still not been canceled.I expect nothing from OptumRx to remedy this situation. I will, from now on, pay CASH for my medications, or else use other coupons such as GoodRx (or similar). I will, further, continue this discussion with my current (or future) elected officials.
