      They should be closed down. I have had trouble with them for many years. My husband work through 32B-J Union has OptumRX through them. They have no regard for a person's welfare. They constantly play Russian roulette with my prescription medicine. I have been on Novolog and Levemir for approximately 16 years. Had my sugar under control. My A1C was always in the range. At their insistence, I reluctantly started Humalog as of April 17th, 2022. My sugar readings are for the most part over 200's, as well as 400's a few times. Never before did I have 400's reading. I used one Novolog pen in about 3 days, whereas Humalog pen in one day. I have never had to be hospitalized because of my sugar readings, but I fear that with these kind of readings my kidneys are suffering and can't recoup. My doctor dropped me because of OptumRX hassles. I even reached out to Senator ********** of **, haven't heard from her yet. Now they want me to take Lantus or Toujeo. I want to stick with what was working very well for me. I feel like impeding doom for me. I am at wits end. Novo Nordisk was very nice to send me 2 vouchers for 2 boxes of Levemir pen for free which CVS filled, but what happens after I finish them. I really believe that ******* is holding me up with the readings. What's going to happen after I am done???

      Absolutely bad customer service and response of OPTUM Financial. I recently opened HSA Account with *************** and almost a month, my cards are not being sent. Its strange that they don't want to keep track of the cards which are being sent with a Tracking number. Cant understand the reason for being so unprofessional and delaying everything. Its frustrating.

      This review is for Optum Rx which is directly affiliated with UHC. I literally call these people 7 times in one day, 2-3 times a week, and get a different response to the same exact question. It's absolutely infuriating and a complete waste of my time and money. Trying to get prior authorizations approved, medication delivered, etc. is an absolute headache. I truly think they tell you what you want to hear just so they can get off the phone. None of their staff is educated in answering questions regarding coverage, benefits, etc.

      I would give this company 0 stars. I ordered Covid testing for travel, with expedited shipping. At first, it seemed like everything was going well, then I received notification from *** that the shipping was delayed. I called and emailed Optum multiple times before leaving for my trip. The tests arrived 9 days after I ordered them and I was already on my trip. Researching what happened, I discovered the tests did not leave Optum's shipping facility till August 9th, even though I have their tracking which says it left on the 2nd. The problem lies with Optum, yet they will not return my money for tests which are now useless to me. Do not use this company! You will regret it. *****************************

      Optum RX is probably the worst pharmacy company that I have ever dealt with. I constantly have to make multiple phone calls in order to attempt to fix any problems that occur. The most current is for them trying to recharge me a $140 co-pay for a medicine that I returned back in June. I am now on my 3rd phone call trying to resolve the same matter. Their accounting department KNOWS NOTHING about accounting. Prior to this when trying to get them to do the original refund, they made me give them an entirely different card number than the one the charge was made too. Then, when it was finally refunded, it was refunded to the original card.

      I have gone pretty much exclusively to KS for years, and taken my family there as well. No more.
      I told the scheduler I needed my throat looked at when booking the appointment, and the doctor who examined me said she could not do that. What? That's like paying a mechanic to fix an issue with your vehicle- and the mechanic doesn't do anything, but charges you anyway. They would not refund my money.
      Just an uncaring, unethical company. Stay far away.

      This is THE worst company to do ANY kind of business with!!!! I used this insurance (or what Id been told was insurance) in February and March of this year. I had an indemnity policy and theyre supposed to pay me $600/day for each day of hospitalization which was 6 days. They complained that they didnt get alllllll of the documents they requested even though I sent it twice, then sent a 3rd time certified and someone signed for it!!! Even after that I sent it to an email address that I was told to send. They have never paid one ***** towards any part of the **** nor any payment to me as an income replacement!! I only insured myself and it was $550/mo!!! Ive been calling daily only to be told theyre investigating the hospitalization!! Since February!!!! They admitted to having all the documentation and still nothing!!! I wish I would have seen the reviews I NEVER would have paid for this mess!!! Its a shame that I spent this much money on this poor excuse of an insurance!!!! Im so upset ??!!! Its so unfair!!!

      Caremount medical in ******** ******** and the surrounding ****** County Area is horrible. They make it near impossible to see a doctor. You cannot contact a doctor's ****** directly. You have to go through their mafia-like calling system. The "******" of caremount is trash. They put you on hold for ages. You are transferred around like a hot potato. They don't give you clear information. They don't care for your health. They are inefficient and down right mean to the patients. It's awful.

      OptumRX is THE WORST. They are a monopoly for those of us saddled with United Healthcare and as,a result prices are arbitrary, costumer service is a waste of time, and simple things like having prescriptions transferred are beyond their ability. I am looking for a new job so I can get insurance through another company and go back to hassle free prescriptions from my local pharmacy.

      My daughter had to have hip surgery in summer of 2021 due to chronic hip pain. United Healthcare paid some claims and then decided to deny one of the procedures done as part of the surgery, claiming it wasnt medically necessary. Ya tell that to my daughter who is now pain free for the first time in years. They left us on the hook for an additional $5,000 over and above the thousands we had already paid for the surgery. After wasting hours on the phone with them, we submitted an appeal of their denial on the claim, which they took 3 months to respond to saying its still denied. Then they claim we have to file a second appeal before we can take it to an external appeal, where someone other than *** gets to decide whats medically necessary and thats what they want to avoid. Like all unethical big businesses, they are clearly just trying to wear down the consumer until we give up. Well we didnt give up. Finally, after multiple appeals, delays, and road blocks during an almost a year-long battle with *** we got the chance to file an external appeal and they overturned the *** denial of our claim. I guess all it took was a real doctor who doesnt work for ***, from an ******************************* taking an impartial look at the evidence to decide that the procedure was totally appropriate and should be covered. Finally *** will have to pay for the procedure. Unfortunately theres no penalty for their actions, no compensation for a year of frustration. They will keep fraudulently denying claims and ripping off health care consumers. This company is ethically and morally bankrupt and their only mission is to make a buck off of peoples illness, not help people. Need proof? Just look at their QUARTERLY profits measured in BILLIONS of dollars. Yet they refused to pay our $5,000 claim. In the end, it really feels like some thief stole $5,000 from my family and then made me play some sick stupid game over the next year in order to get it back.
