BEWARE! This is a super dishonest company with shady business practices. The issue is they will tell you to use their site or app to find facilities that are covered under United Health Care and then when you go to the facility, the facility will assign doctors and Nurse Practitioners to work on you who are NOT in network and they will NOT tell you that. I went to an urgent care because I was experiencing symptoms of pneumonia while visiting my mom from out of state. I used the app to find an *********** in the area that was covered under my insurance. Months later I get two bills for the same service. One from the urgent care that is in network and another **** that says it is out of network and from a nurse practitioner that worked on me during that visit. I think it is extremely dishonest to have doctors and NPs at in network facilities that are out of network without telling the patient. I would have not been seen by that NP had I known I would be paying completely out of pocket for the visit.UnitedHealth Group

**************** gives inaccurate information. I tried to find a provider and they kept sending me a specialty I was not looking for. I've been on hold for 15 minutes each time. 3 customer service representatives to me different information. I will not continue with Bind, thought it would work well for my family but we keep getting delayed care and care that is not covered because customer service provides incorrect information.UnitedHealth Group

This company is a scam. My husband had to go to the emergency room for a situation that was out of our control. He pays more a month for the insurance than they covered on his medical ****.UnitedHealth Group

We’ve had an opportunity to review the comments provided by the reviewer above and provide the following in response.
Our records show the reviewer and her spouse applied for and were issued family coverage under our PremierAdvantage Plan (non-ERISA), effective June 20, 2022. The availability of benefits under the plan is subject to the definitions, provisions, exclusions and limitations of the Plan. The health plan is not a major medical plan, comprehensive medical insurance nor eligible for mandated benefits under the Affordable Care Act.
As a result of the reviewer comments, we reviewed the file and found during the recorded verification call for the application the reviewer’s spouse was asked if he reviewed the plan brochure and benefits with the agent on June 13, 2022, to which he responded ”Yes”. The available benefits are outlined in the Brochure and in the Policies that were issued to the applicant at the time the Plans were approved. Our review of the claim file found that all charges submitted to our Office have been processed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Plans selected.
Regarding the reviewer’s comments that this company is a scam, while we recognize that our products are unique and different from the typical ACA essential health benefits plan, the products that we offer are certainly innovative and provide valuable coverage for our customers. The reviewer paid monthly premiums of $482 per family, for a benefit package that offers the following:
• First dollar coverage, up to the applicable benefit amount.
• Provided the option to purchase additional coverage when decided circumstances require it, even in the middle of a claim, without additional underwriting or evidence of insurability.
• Freedom to seek services from any provider and the benefits provided under the PremierAdvantage Plan remain the same. Where many of the PPO, EPO, and HMO products available on the market today restrict their customers to one network of physicians or facilities and/or penalize their customers for using Out-of-Network providers by charging additional deductibles, coinsurance, or co-pays; our customers aren’t penalized.
• Automatically locked in rates for 15 months at no extra charge.
• A $37,625.00 Critical Illness/Accelerated Death Benefit Policy which provides a lump-sum cash payment to Insured upon a first diagnosis of a covered critical illness condition/surgery for the Primary Insured and a benefit of $41,806.00 for the spouse.
Thank you for the opportunity to address this matter and we hope that we have adequately addressed all issues raised in the reviewer’s complaint.

I have state funded health insurance. I was told by United Health one reps prior to purchasing a policy that the accident insurance had nothing to do with health insurance. Yet I am somehow in medical debt for breaking my feet. My state funded insurance picked up on the supplemental insurance as medical and I am now left with unpaid bills. I went to file my first claim hoping to get some much needed help-After explaining I had 2 broken feet and no way to make it to a fax machine to submit a claim, I was told there's "nothing they can do, as that's the only way" so I asked for a supervisor to call me. I was told it would take 3-5 business days and They never called. Needless to say I've passed the 30 day claim period and missed out the much needed help getting these medical bills paid. I've paid for this service for months and it was completely useless. I'm very upset.UnitedHealth Group

United Healthcare is the worst insurance provider Ive ever had. For the first three months of being a customer they have covered absolutely nothing. I recently left my job in law enforcement to be home and help my wife with the business **** built so now I purchase health insurance for my family privately. My doctors office accepts United Healthcare but my plan (a plan which costs the same as a second mortgage and is the best option offered to me) will not cover a simple visit with a primary care physician. WHAT A SURPRISE. My wife is really sick and needs to see a doctor but instead, **** on the phone with a representative from United Healthcare that cant communicate. Im paying a second mortgage to be a customer of United **************************, but instead of having an appointment with her doctor **** sitting in a *** minute clinic. Ill be paying the *** **** anyway because United Healthcare DOESNT COVER ANYTHING. This is only one example of the worthless service and coverage youll get with United Healthcare. They also sent me a lovely letter recently telling me they dont cover my medication. NOTICE THE PATTERN? The letter lists different medication they do cover. I suppose that means I need to tell my doctor what medication to give me or prescribe because United Healthcare knows whats best for me. This is what youll deal with if you get coverage from United Healthcare. As a customer youll find yourself getting treated at a *** minute clinic because United Healthcare covers some of their customers at your doctors office but not you. You arent good enough. I pray one of my three children never needs serious healthcare because I know UNITED HEALTHCARE wont cover it. I suppose its time to go back into law enforcement so I can get decent coverage for the people that matter most in my life, even if it costs me my life. THANKS UNITED HEALTHCARE.UnitedHealth Group

1 starTO ALL American People...please read before joining with US Health Advisors.I wish to share a TRUE story about my two year experience with US Health Advisors. First, my family is generally healthy and I was looking for health coverage/insurance that was 'better' than the ACA/Obama Care plans. For a large family of 7 we found the premium to be nice but the coverage to be absolutely terrible. My daughter needs to have her tonsils removed earlier this year. We saw an in plan doctor and surgeon during this whole process and my wife and I where floored by the price that was not pick up by US Health Advisors. We called several times to find why a simple-outpatient procedure commonly done was not covered by our plan. Simple stated "We cover surgeries caused by accidents and we don't cover surgeries unrelated to accidents." I continued to call and found the same statement. I asked for management and they referred me to me sale guy that I originally worked with. Come to find out that guy no longer works at US Health Advisors and was sent to a back up 'Advisor' named *** instead. He states that for a one time upgrade to my plan that my daughters future surgeries will be covered but only ONE per life time and in addition to your premium you will have an increase added cost to the premium monthly for the life of the plan. SO in summary: My daughters surgery for tonsil removal was not covered because it was not an accident, if I request my plan to upgrade my premium will be similar to ACA plans but will only cover one surgury per life time. WHAT???!!! Secondly, they say that the doctor check *** are negotiated and a rate, however the doctors office still will charge you the full price of the visit. US Health Advisors state that you get coverage of 75$ per visit but that will not cover the ***** dollar visit to the doctors office.IF I WHERE YOU... I would stay away for US HEALTH ADVISOR, poor coverage and even poorer customer support.Review fromKar L

I got insurance for 1 month since I would be starting my company insurance after that and they scammed me and stole my payment. They couldnt cover a single thing. I have asthma and I needed to get my medication covered but they couldnt cover it nor could they find an single alternative option to cover for same medication. Now I called my bank to dispute the charge and filed a complaint with the insurance. I want my money back.UnitedHealth Group

Worst health insurance company ever. If you don't send an appeal letter, they will refuse or try not to pay for the procedure. It's like the insurance representative is better than your doctor. Half of the dental services they dont cover even when you in so much pain. Heartless company.UnitedHealth Group
