      This is a scam. They told me they were from ********** Blue Shield and were giving me a health insurance policy. They signed me up for life insurance without my consent and there was no health insurance included. They charged me over $100.

      I've had United Health AARP ******** supplements since 2/23. No issues until now. I applied for a change to my coverage and what a mess!!! If there's any issue with your application there internal communications is horrific. They can't relay correct information between departments nor within a timely manor. Also, they don't seem to realize they have any information on me they may need. I had to make 3 calls and a letter to correct some application information with no resolution. They're sending messages about my canceled policy where no policy has been canceled. The application is still pending.

      We are not real happy with our experience. I signed up a few weeks ago and was told that my 24 year old had to go on his own plan, which he did. The agent got two sales from me. I told her the ** that I see and she said it was covered. They are covered under my sons plan, but not on mine. There is no mental health on my plan. The sales agent does not reply to my texts or my voicemail I left her. I contacted multiple numbers and spent many hours only to find out that only the insurance agent that sold me this plan can make changes. They have already pulled the $1400 out of our account and the insurance is useless. It does not cover what the agent told me that it would. I even provided the name of the ** and the facility to her. We have only been with this company since Nov 1st. I will try for the third day in a row tomorrow to see if I can get this rectified. If not, I am cancelling and I will get my son to cancel his policy too. Its not too late for me to go on Cobra from my last workplace. I was about to send them a lot of referrals too but I would never want my old coworkers to go through what I have been going through the last few days with no resolution. The agents only answer you until they get the sale and then they ghost you. They tell you that they will handle everything for you and to just reach out to them, but that is not true.

      They said I had to switch my insurance since my current insurance would no longer be valid in the state of ********. So i switched, based on what they told me. However, they never deleted the old insurance plan from my account. So for the month of November, I was charged for 2 insurance policies, totaling $2,120.66 instead of the $1,070 that I was supposed to only get charged for. I asked for a refund for the difference, but they said it could take up to 35 days since they would need to send me a physical check. I told them that if they withdrew the premium from my bank account electronically, why can't they refund me in the same way. They said they do not do it that way. So now, I'm out close to $1,100.00 and I may not be able to pay my other bills because of their incompetence! I called their customer service this evening at 6:55 pm central time zone, to get an update. I was in the middle of talking and expressing to her that I am very unhappy with the situation with my account, and she hung up on me. UNACCEPTABLE! Needless to say, I will be escalating this matter to the proper authorities.

      My experience with united healthcare- People's health was deplorable. Every time I called with question I was transferred 3 times with no one having the information I asked. It's like doing business with grandsons who are 5,8& 11 SMDH. Please four self a favor and do not consider this company. Their spending account may be higher than others but it's not worth the headaches!!

      I am a medical doctor and I work in medical research. I signed up because I was exploring insurance options. I was contacted in 24 hours during which I was extremely busy so many times by phone calls and messages (I will be attaching the screenshots on other platforms that accept images from the messages with the details and the phone number) - When I asked the representative to stop contacting me he casually mentioned that their website tracked my IP address with a wink ;) - I am contacting the local police department because that does sound like a safety threat. I would recommend that the public stay away from this website until the company but this is my thought, whether or not you perceive this as a threat is at your discretion. Personally, I felt violated, compromised and threatened.

      First of all it didnt cover everything I needed so why have something sent when I have to go get the rest of my needs purchased somewhere else? They kept texting and calling me regarding another family member who isnt even a subscriber. They sent my prescriptions out way too often giving me an abundance of medication that I didnt need yet. I received a new prescription from my doctor and they sent a letter telling me that my prescription medication hadnt been filled for a while and the importance of taking that prescription. I dont need someone sending me information about my health care when they know nothing about my health, my needs, or the conversations I have with my doctor. I also called to cancel my account and they dont give you a cancellation number, text, or email to control canceled. The person just said, I put all 9s in your account and changed your zip code. ??? That is crazy! They have no refunds for anything they send you either. What a scam.

      Staff at United Healthcare dont return effectively. Randomly call at anytime especially five minutes before their lunch break and you call back no answer. For three weeks back and forth with no answer or no other type of communication. Ask For Supervisor no response either. I ended up switching to another health plan. There is more to the situation very unprofessional but Ill leave at that.

      They are ripping me off because Im elderly. I passed my health insurance max out of pocket and they are continuing to process claims incorrectly and billing me after *** contacted them and told them to stop because I have met and surpassed my MOOP by $577.13 yet they continue to attempt to get money I do not owe.

      I signed up with a ******* membership through United Healthcare in order to gain access to a gym near me. They charged me $330 within 5 days (They charged me two months of memberhsip for some reason). I went to the gym that was supposed to be included on the platform only to be told that their partnership recently changed and I would not have access, despite the fact that it was still listed on their website as a participating facility. I have requested a refund but have not heard back from them. Scammy and unethical business practices. ******** platform - would not recommend.
