The inefficiency and lack of competency of Optum RX is beyond anything I have ever encountered. I have been trying to fill a prescription that my insurance will not cover and each time I speak with theadvocate I tell them this is self pay and no prior authorization with insurance is needed. They take my credit card info and I get a computer generated email saying my order s being processed. the next day I get another email saying my order has been cancelled. This has happened three times. When I ask to speak with someone in the ** I am told there is no office herehow can that be? There is no one to speak with who understands. I will. To be using Optum rx in the future. Since I cant leave 0 stars I have left 1

This is not insurance that will pay anything. The broker who sold this plan to me is also clueless that it is really a non-plan....and they label it a PPO!!

Please Save Your Money - This is not health insurance! We were told by the USHealth agent that it was true medical/emergency insurance for our family. We paid a premium of almost $800 a month for a family of four for five years. When our 11-year-old son had a life-threatening emergency, we took him to a local ER. There, we were told that our insurance was out of network. We ended up taking him to a children's hospital that was 1.5 hours away that was "in-network." Fast forward to 6 months later, I keep receiving bills. We are up to $20,000 in medical bills due to them now claiming that the second hospital was also out of network. Just to give you an example, I got a bill in the amount of $16,538.95 for the hospital stay; the USHealth Group only covered $1,171.28, leaving our family with a $15,367.67 bill that we owe since now they are telling us that we exceed the daily amount they cover out of network. It's a scam that pays nothing and leaves families in debt. Please do yourself a favor and do not fall for their false advertising schemes.

I wish I could go lower than 1 star! Thanks to Optum RX dropping the ball and telling me they were sending out my Pyridostigmine 180s ER when in fact they weren't, I now have to go without it again. I'm currently trying to talk to a supervisor above the supervisor who is trying to blame my doctor's ****** for the "mistake." Optum RX point blank told me it was being shipped out and would be at my house by the 26th, which was NOT the truth. They didn't fill it, and weren't going to fill it as in it was not in process like I was told. They did this all while blocking another pharmacy from filing it. Something needs to be done about this place!

Receptionist was nasty and impatient. I gave them all my insurance information and a letter saying they would pay the bill. Now I keep receiving bills from them. I called my insurance company and they told me not to pay or because they were in the process of sending payment. They also said that med express keeps harassing them with calls as well. This was in June. It is now July and I just received a bill from the, again. I called them and said that the insurance co.told me it was paid in June. The woman on the phone said they hadnt. When I said call them again because I already spoke to them.. they said they cant call anymore.

Well if this doesn't take the cake! I had a major fall, I'm 60+. I went to urgent care. My claim was denied as I was told that *********** visits need to be coordinated through my PCP. Last I checked my policy covers *********** visits, prior to going to ***********, customer service at *** gave me the information for the *********** I should go to, and also validated my coverage.PCP's would have to work 24/7 to coordinate *********** visits.Totally absurd. I am floored by the lack of accountability this business has regarding their errors. They deposited a surplus of money into my HSA account. I used the funds in this account since I am the owner. Then, a few weeks later, they removed the money, stating it was an error that it was deposited in the first place. I now have a negative balance on my account due to their negligence. I tried working with their customer service but they refuse to take any accountability to wipe my account to 0. Very disappointed and if I had another option, I would close out this account permanently.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Signed up due to my husband losing his job. Only really needed it for my kids, which my daughter was having medical issues and needed some procedures done. The process was extremely long and annoying to sign up. After signing up (and being lied to be the man who sold us this policy), we found out our policy didn't cover anything my daughter was scheduled for. I immediately canceled the entire policy a week later. However, they were sneakily taking $89.95 out of my checking acct for premium policy. I did not authorize this. I was able to get health insurance for my family through my work. So I immediately called customer service and spoke with a ******** He basically said it was my work taking the money out. MY WORK DOES NOT TAKE MONEY OUT OF MY CHECKING ACCT FOR ********************** INSURANCE, IT COMES DIRECTLY OUT OF MY PAYCHECK. AND THEY HAD NO RECORDS OF THE MONEY BEING TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. I sent my email of screen shots of the money being taken out. Anyways, he said he would call me back in a week with a response from his higher up person. I received no call in a week. So I called again. This time I spoke to a lady named ********. She was very helpful and she would get back to me the following Wednesday. Never received a call. So I call again. I wait on hold for almost 30 mins and speak to another lady, I did not catch her name. She said she could see I called and spoke to ******** and said a refund check would be issued, even though it hadn't been issued yet. I asked if I did not receive the refund check in the 2weeks-21 days like you say, then what? She said "you call again." Really??? I said "I did not authorize you to be taking $ out of my acct, and I want it to stop. How do I stop it?" She told me to call my bank. WHY DO I HAVE TO CALL MY BANK?? Bunch of scammers. I just want my refund and my policy completely canceled. I have called my bank and told them to stop letting them take money out and now waiting for my refund!!

United healthcare has told me numerous times through app or me literally calling them and asking if I would be able to use my plan to go to certain doctors. 3/3 times I have visited the doctor with my United healthcare plan after checking it would be covered they denied me coverage and I was stuck with expensive bills. I have spoken to several supervisors only to be told later on calls that I had never spoken with a supervisor. They have gaslit me at every turn to deny me benefits as agreed on in my healthcare coverage. This company is incompetent at paying for their consumers. I am cancelling my coverage prematurely because of the corporate greed and denial of coverages that are listed on my policy. There needs to be a class action law suit for the billions of dollars they have not paid out in coverage to families and individuals who have been held responsible after being lied to by United Healthcare. Would 0/10 absolutely never recommend to a friend and will never be returning even if it is offered by an employer.

I was lied to when signing up and told that my coverage would have an out of pocket maximum. It wasn't until I had a health incident and started getting statements explaining coverage that I realized that my plan only covers a small payment per visit. Nothing like what the sales rep told me on the phone. I feel like an idiot for not verifying the information. Now we are outside of the enrollment period for ACA and am unable to get proper coverage for me and my family. It's such a scam and outright criminal to lie to people about their plan coverage. I have no idea how this operation still exists or how United Health Care supports this. I'm canceling as soon as possible and will never give another dime to United Health Care.
