My co-pay jumped from ****** to ****** a month for ONE med!! I spent 3 days trying to get a HUMAN on the phone and when I did ,SHE HAD NO CLUE and gave me a different customer number. I got this plan because **** recommended it, MY MISTAKE>UnitedHealth Group

This is the biggest joke of a pharmacy. I've spent 5 days over 7hrs on the phone, and spoken to 6 representatives and I STILL do not have my medication! This is an extremely important medication and they can't seem to get it together to ship it. It's almost how many monkeys does it take to change a lightbulb. Because no one can get it right. I'm betting tomorrow comes and goes and I still will not have my medication.UnitedHealth Group

One claim got denied. They continually tell me it is being reviewed, but it has been far beyond the 30 days. They delay, delay, delay. I went through the emergency room, but they tell me my claim was not medically necessary, which is absurd. They make you fill out the accident from for every single claim related to the same accident, so if you fill it out once and think you are done. Forget it. Also, they say you need pre-authorization even after being admitted through the emergency room and needing surgery.UnitedHealth Group

After I posted the original review the main contact from ***, who handles the insurance account for the business I work for, got in touch with me and helped correct my claims. I am very grateful for his help. I'm still sad that it took 8 months to get this all cleared up. It sounds like there was a lot of confusion around my claims and things were not coded correctly, which caused the delay. I don't have any good advice for anyone dealing with issues similar to mine. After calling the call center many times, at one point I tried asking for a manager, since I felt like I needed elevated help, but the person on the phone just ignored that I had asked to speak to a manager and asked me a different question. I had also reached out to my HR department a few times about the trouble I was having with my claim, but I still had to turn around and talk to someone at the call center. I really didn't get the help I needed until I posted my review here on BBB.Review fromSteven S

1 starI have never heard of or used CHANGE HEALTHCARE since I participate in an *** for last 15 years. I was mailed a letter recently advising me of Notice of Data Breach. I called the ask what provider had been hacked and they couldn't tell me. Moreover, the breach happened in mid-February, 2024. I'm being notified a year later? Please note anyone who is a patient of Optum/******* Clinic - when you sign up for Mychart you are automatically enrolled in paperless billing!!! They stop sending your bills in the mail. My daughter and I both wound up in collections - please check your Mychart for bills and/or do what we did and un-enroll in paperless billing.UnitedHealth Group

This is in regards to a bogus procedure.United healthcare denied a service they approve.Claiming that even though my plan changed the films taken are limited to once every three years.Or so I was told by a gentleman whom I could barely understand cause he was ********** why the h*** did you authorize the visit and not inform them of any limitations to the verbatim as you spell out your gospel?I will remind you I pay almost ****** a month for your bull ****..So if that is your claim that is admissible as if nothing changed after starting a new plan in the new year..Then with your lies and deception I should not be told that several of my meds our not covered?So which is it its the same as you claim or is it very different?Zero stars because when your fuxxing me over all I get is some oversees idiot who I cant understand And that fresh fuxxed feeling from United healthcare if this is not promptly resolved then I will assume you have purged your innocent in this matter and I will not stop posting this u till you remove the ****** you have fraudulently passed on to me.If your considering United healthcare stop Call a different provider Zero stars was not available but thats my rating Because United healthcare gives zero ***UnitedHealth Group

I purchased health insurance from "*********************************" (a subsidiary of united ***** group) on 5-7-24. I told the agent ******** ****** that I had a pain in my groin area and I had just moved to ********* with no insurance. I found out 2-14-25 that she sold me a policy that will not cover my hospital stay and two surgeries for a life threating infection in my hip. She has claimed that I knew about the preexisting clause because of a recorded phone call when i accepted it. I don't remember that and she has yet to give me a copy of the call. I never would purchased it if I knew this. The insurance was not cheap. I also had several conversations her and other agents while in the hospital and soon after. All telling me it will be resolved after I turn in more medical release and other forms. After being strung along like this for 8 months they decided not to pay approximately $75,000 in bills. Why string me along if you knew they would not cover it? If would of been told right away they weren't going to cover me I would of purchased another insurance that would of back paid. Now I'm stuck with this huge bill. This was not a elective care, it was a life threating care.UnitedHealth Group

My husband has United Health Care through his employer and it is a complete joke! He pays for it but yet United Health pays nothing when you go to a doctor! You have to pay thousands in deductible before it pays anything! I told him to just cancel it and we will find some good insurance.UnitedHealth Group
