      I have been battling with *** for over a year. Despite having submitted all the necessary documentationincluding irrefutable proof via screenshots and fax confirmationsmy claim remains unresolved. *** continues to deny my claim, citing missing documents, even though I have provided every piece of evidence they requested. have already hit my deductible and maxed out my out-of-pocket expenses, yet *** persists in claiming that I owe patient co-payments for services that should be fully covered. The fax number provided on their website for claims submissions is invalid. When my healthcare provider attempted to fax the supporting documents, they were informed that the number does not work. This deliberate misinformation appears designed to ensure that crucial documents never reach the appropriate department, thereby stalling the claims process. Eventually, my provider found an alternative way to submit the documents, but the damage was already donea year of delay and inaction followed.Every time I call UMR, I am forced to retell my entire story to a new representative, who then promises that my claim is in progress or under review and that an escalation email has been sent. However, as soon as I hang up, nothing changes. The repetition of these empty assurances is not only exhausting but also demonstrates a complete lack of accountability and coordination within **** customer service.**** deceptive tactics exploit the goodwill and trust of their customers. As someone who has lived on three different continents, I have never encountered a health insurance system as disorganized and unresponsive as ****. I am posting this review on the Better Business Bureau website to warn others about the unacceptable delays, inconsistent communication, and apparent intentional misdirection employed by ***. Potential customers deserve transparency, prompt service, and genuine carequalities that *** has sorely failed to demonstrate.

      This is by far the worst healthcare carrier in the country. The monthly premiums are high on top of the deductible. For what theyre asking h*** I might as well die.

      The negative reviews are true. United Health Care will deny needed medical surgeries/procedures even after several appeals. Please do not choose United Health Care if you value your health. The solid 1 star review should be all you need to know.

      I too was scammed by a healthcare sales person who told me this was an excellent insurance with at a minimum catastrophic coverage ( if needed.)
      Not thinking I would need it. I bought in and then fell and broke my kneecap coming out of the shower. I was only in the hospitala day and a half because I insisted on leaving and the injury itself was horrific requiring three screws to put the kneecap back but the bill was 2,000 and the insurance paid 3250. Yes, that's all folks. I contacted the agent who sold it to me and he said he quit selling it in April 2024. Terrible company. Basically worthless if ever needed. Don't get scammed and be sure and ask for the certificate list of procedures/coverage and how much they pay.

      I CANCELED MY POLICY. THEY QUOTED MY ONE PRICE AND BILLED ME FOR A DIFFERANT PRICE. THEY DID NOT DISCLOSE HIDDEN FEES.
      BAIT AND SWITCH.
      NEVER TRUST THIS COMPANY.

      United healthcare calls my elderly mother-in-law Way too much
      Today I tried to get the rep to take her off any calling list and call me instead, but he insisted on talking to her
      She lives next-door to us so it wouldn’t just very easy for me to go get her
      She is very hard of hearing and since they call so much, she won’t answer the phone, which makes it very difficult for us to call in And check on her
      The original Service rep said that I could talk to his supervisor, but we were cut off
      I’m working customer service for many years and I would have to describe the United health care. Customer service as very poor!!!

      Optum Rx is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I'm not even going into details, because United Healthcare doesn't care, and doesn't do anything to improve it. If there is a fb page called "Optum Rx Complaints," it might be time to think about what you as a company are doing wrong

      Once again I was unable to get anything done on the GEHA and/or *** website. GEHA directed me to *******. *** directed me to GEHA. For 40 years my wife and I have been able to access all our information on the GEHA website. NOW IN 2025, THEY HAVE CHANGED EVERYTHING. When asked to give a survey review, they asked on a scale of "zero to ten" give a rating. I said "ZERO". Then it said they could not process my complaint. THEY NEED TO LEAVE THINGS ALONE IF THEY AREN'T BROKE.OR MAYBE DO SOME QUALITY CHECKING AND GET RID OF ALL THE PROGRAMMERS AND MANAGERS WHO THINK THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. !!!!!!!!!
