    I've had car shield for over 5 year the top of the line coverage. On my 2007 Toyota avalon limited. My policy covered my front & rear axle, if you know anything about axles they have a boot on both ends. Well my boot cracked, and car shield didn't want to cover it. They said it was not part of the axle...****..IT IS!!! Car ****** says you can take it to the auto service place of your choice, another lie..I get my ****** serviced at ****** dealership. The dealership told me they don't mess with car shield because they DON'T PAY!!! They ( CAR shield) told me to go to ( *** **** )..I Went there for the **** of it just to see what they were going to say..**** they said YOUR **** IS NOT MESSED UP ONLY THE ***** I EXPLAINED TO THEM IS THE GREASE LEAKS OUT IT'S GOING TO DESTROY THE **** & THAT THE **** IS ONE COMPONENT. THEN THEY SAID THEY COULD FIX IT FOR $1000 DOLLARS..**** NO..I TOOK MY CAR HOME ORDER THE PART FOR $80.00 AND IT ONLY TOOK ME 2& HALF HOURS TO DO THE JOB..NO MORE CAR SHEILD NEVER AGAIN, I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM NO STARTS!!!!

    The boot is part of the ( ****** that's why ******************** was going to replace the whole ( ******. And ******************** STOP DEALING WITH CARSHIELD!!!

    As stated in our previous response, ******************** is the administrator of your contract and has full authority over repair procedures, approvals, denials and payments. If you wish to dispute a decision made by ******************** you will need to contact them directly at ************, by email at ************************************ by mail at ******************************************************************** or see Section ** ******* Resolutions, of your contract.

    DO NOT BUY CAR SHIELD! Horrible Company. They will find every & any excuse NOT to pay your claim. No mechanic wants to work on your car if you have them because they know they dont pay. The mechanic will say this is whats wrong with the car. Car Shield will say we need a ***************** ******** sends them the ***************** they requested and then theyll come back with, we need more pictures and more video. And we only cover it if its this part connected to this part connected to that part. Also, if you try to cancel the policy CarShield says oh we cant refund your money. But they tell you when you sign up its a month-to-month contract and that you can cancel at any time. ENDURANCE is a much much better company. They pay out their own claims. They dont use a third party like CarShield. Oh and C.S. customer ********************** people are extremely rude, unprofessional and nasty. Their only nice to you when they are trying to sell you the policy.

    I made a mistake of trying to get a free no hassle quote. It was four minutes again and I have received a call a minute to harass me. This bait and switch marketing approach is why these extended warranties have such a bad reputation. I will not recommend or contact car shield again and if I can ever make their harassing calls stop it will be a miracle.

    I hate CarShield no star my daughter got it pay every month on time engine messed up they took forever told the mechanic just fix the top part of the engine the mechanic suggested to get an engine they refuse to do that got the car back drove the car in the car through a rod now have to replace the engine anyway The hundred dollar deductible thats a lie I had to pay extra 800 so altogether I spent $900 she got the car out one day and had to go back to the shop the next day to get the engine put in and its been two months now I hate Car shield

    They are a scam and a ripoff They turned down my claim because a part not covered broke the part covered. Do not sign up with them

    I joined Carshield and when the first payment came out it was MEPCO, so I called to find out what MEPCO was, and was told Carshield sells the contract and does not actually service them. MEPCO also told me of the BBB rating of F and told me I needed to get out of the contract immediately, and that there were lawsuits against Carshield. I contacted Carshield and the agent cancelled the contract and told me I would get a refund. It's been 2 weeks so I called again and was told that agents can't give refunds and that because the payment was taken they would not give it back! And then hung up on me!!! I am so mad, Please stay away from this company, it's a rip off. If you have a claim they won't pay it is also what I see online in reviews. I wish I could *** them! I give them a O Star rating!

Therefore, this failure is not covered by the Vehicle Service Contract.

    This is a scam company on today I was having issues with my vehicle and when I used the app to take it to one of the dealerships that they state would be able to repair my vehicle I was told that either they do not no longer do business with Car Shield or they would not have the parts in stock to complete my vehicle repair. After going to several of the dealerships listed on the app, I contacted Car Shield back and was advised that they have contracted with ******************** in which I was not advised when purchasing this coverage that they would use a 3rd party to verify replicable repair shops and if this is the case there is no link on the app that will take you to this said company to verify who will be able to repair your vehicle. After speaking with ********* from American Car shield I was advised to take my vehicle to a Precision Tune Shop and after arriving there I was advised by the only mechanic that its a possibility he would not be able to fix my vehicle. This means I received the run around on this matter and I was very upset. I contacted Car Shield back and requested a cancellation of coverage and also asked to speak with a supervisor. I was advised that they would have to put in a ticket request to have a supervisor call me back and when the supervisor called she was of no assistance, after requesting a complete refund of monies that were auto drafted from my account the supervisor advised me that they could not offer refunds after 30 days of coverage, I instantly be came upset due to the way I was handled and I contacted my financial institution to dispute all charges. I plan to also file a dispute with the BBB. This is totally unfair to a customer who is experiencing car troubles..

    I had two policies with ************ mother passed and one of the vehicle policies was for her vehicle. When attempting to cancel her policy the representative gave me a really hard time. She had no sympathy or compassion. She was more concerned with keeping me enrolled. So I canceled both policies.Additionally, my policy was paid 09/22/2022 today is 09/27/2022. I requested a partial refund which was denied.I am requesting a partial refund!

    My **** dealer suggested I use another Car Warranty provider. Their experience has been awful and they have had some real horror stories getting Car Shield to stand behind their warranty.I have spent the last 6 hours trying to get an answer to any of their phone numbers. They are essentially out of business. Their parent company, MEPCO, refuses to help cancel and say I must go through Car Shield. A circular firing squad for sure. I have had my banks put stops on the two accounts we have and they will deal with the frauds.
