DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY HUGE SCAM!!!Had this service and every time we took our vehicles for repair either the company they said took CarShield didn't or once the claim was submitted for authorization CarShield denied. If you gonna have to pay for repairs and warranty says what is covered then find a way not to cover or pay for it might as well pay yourself without this warranty service. This service is not made for Georgia. Will not recommend this service to anyone.CarShield

1 starI canceled my contract with carshield after two months because I could not afford it at this time. They took two payments out I received one payment that day for one month and they said the second payment would be mailed in 30 days. I haven't received it called to find it and they're saying that it was refunded already. I have there email and it says I'll receive two payments that they took out. And now they are refusing two refund the first payment. I wouldn't use these people when they will rip people off even when you have proof of them taking advantage of you.Review fromStacey W

Car Shield is the most underhanded company I have ever dealt with. I was paying my bills on time each month and then as soon as something happened to my car, they were drilling me like they were the police and I was sitting in an interrogation room. Why you didn't do this? Why you didn't do that? Why this and why that? I'm like hold up now, I'm paying you all so I wouldn't have to worry about all of that! So I'm wondering why would a company drill me like that when they should have just said, don't worry Sir, we got you! When my transmission went out, it took several phone calls to different repair shops because whenever I would mention Car Shield to them, they would stop me in my tracks and say, oh no, we are not dealing with Car Shield. They don't like to pay and we don't like how they treat their customers. Now that has to be bad when you are known around the Auto Repair Business as being a rip off to your customers to where the mere mention of their names brings an instant bad taste to their mouths. Lo and behold, just as I was warned, they denied the repairs to my transmission that was definitely covered under their policy and all the monthly payments I paid to them were all in Vain. I am ready to join the class action lawsuit that I am sure is going to be brought against them because everyone who I talk to who has dealt with them has had the same bad experience; as evidence by their **** Customer Review Rating with the ****************************** my Head!CarShield

Took my car to a certified dealership on June 6 2022 took 5 weeks to get adjuster/inspector to send an email to car shield, I then authorized dealership to tear down car so they did has been tore down since August 5 2022 and dealership and myself have been trying to get adjuster/inspector to come back with no resolve from car shield. They won't return dealership or my calls. I have request a different inspector/adjuster with no resolve keep being told it will be 24 to 48 hours for response but never happens. I would not recommend this company to my worse enemy's. Car shield has had 6 weeks to respond to our request with no resolve. They use a 3rd party adjuster that they pick and is completely uselessCarShield

Car Shield Customer Service agents are polite and very knowledgeable, that's the only good thing about Car Shield. I owned a Jeep Cherokee, and had CarShield for 4 months when my Jeep broke down with a service transmission and check engine light at my local Chrysler dealership. When I bought my policy I was informed that I can take my Jeep to any official FCA Dealership to have my vehicle repaired. It turned out after speaking with every Chrysler Dealership in north Metro Detroit, they all informed me that they no longer accept CarShield. I called Customer Service they located another shop 5 miles away, but after talking to the shop manager myself, he informed me that he does not do transmission work. I called Customer Service again they found a transmission shop that was 18 miles away that located below I-696 and on Gratiot Ave. I am familiar with that area my family used live in that area over 30 years ago, and it's a very impoverished and unsafe part of Metro Detroit even 30 years later. I had to wait over 4 hours to get a tow truck move my car to the transmission shop. I later on learned from a friend that lived in the area and local reviews, that the transmission shop was notorious for jerry rigging vehicles and charging customer's for unneeded repairs. They took over a week to look at my vehicle, they said that nothing was wrong with the transmission but they found a EVAP code for a O2 sensor. They informed me that they were solely a Transmission shop which was not the truth, this same shop worked on my friend's car that had needed engine and suspension work. I paid the 75 dollar inspection fee which is not covered by CarShield and the shop informed that my Jeep was drivable. At this point I gave up having my car fixed through CarShield, and I contacted a local mechanic that I trusted to inspect and fix my Jeep. I contacted CarShield Roadside Assistance for another tow truck to move my Jeep, who left me stranded in unsafe area for over 8 hours.CarShield

1 starThey are some liers an manipulaters Took money out my account every month. They did not fix my car. In the contract it states my transmission is covered. Please Do Not use this company is a huge scam. My husband and I both made payments on policies, and when our cars broke down they would not cover one thing. I was told by them that they do not cover converters to get the converter fixed and then they would cover my O2 sensor which is a very cheap part. After the repair shop fixed the converter they called back for the O2 sensor coverage and they said that that was not included in the plan. After their representative said it was! I paid them all this time for nothing. I would really hate to see this happen to someone else.CarShield

I purchased a policy with Carshield in July of 2020. I needed repair work done on my vehicle twice & both times everything was taken care of. I recently needed some more work done & was told by the facility that did the 2 repairs prior, that they didn't accept Carshield anymore because of their failure to pay. I was told this exact same thing from the **** dealership here in town. So basically no repair shops here where I live accept Carshield. I was informed that I could take my vehicle to the shop of my choice & that simply is not true. I've been paying 2 years for a service that I can't even use in the town I live in when I was told I could take my vehicle to any facility. I feel like I've been mislead & ripped off. I would like a refund for the months I paid in & was unable to use it.CarShield
