    I filed a claim With Car shield I have been told the adjuster would be in touch yesterday today I was told they have 48 hours yesterday it was 24 hr before I would hear **************** of my knowledge Carshield is a reputable company this is why I chose them against any negativity I have heard or seen Customer ********************** associates are polite but not very knowledgeable and never once was I able to speak to the adjuster

    Had car shield for 2 months. Check engine light came on and I took my car to the approved ASE certification center. After my car was diagnosed Car Shield denied everything the service center said needed to be done to fix my vehicle. Had to pay $945. What good was it to get car shield just to have to pay everything out of pocket. CAR SHIELD IS USELESS AND A RIP OFF. **********************

    I have a Kia ******** and the gearshift was locked in park. I was unable to shift from park to drive.I took it to my local mechanic and he was listed as an authorized dealer with CarShield. He told me that he just dropped CarShield because of a number of issues with other customers. But, he would call them to try and process my claim. Claim was immediately denied because they would cover only a manual lever and not an automatic lever. Who buys a manual lever for an SUV? I needed a shifter ****, lever assembly, shifter cable and boot for an AUTOMATIC transmission!! ITS NOT COVERED UNDER MY PLATINUM CONTRACT!!Why not as I asked the 5th person I was bounced to at CarShield? I was TOLD that its NOT part of my contract and that was explained to me at time of purchase!REALLY?Canceled immediately.

    STOP!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! One star only because they didn't have a minus 1! I went to get my car serviced, Only to find that my local repair shop won't accept C.S. because they don't get paid. Having the same problem at my dealership. They want volumes of information, only to not respond to the request. I sat in the waiting room for hours thinking my car was getting fixed. They were still waiting for a answer. They told me to go home. Car was not fixed!!!!

    Terrible, dont use, i had a repair that the contract says it covered, Car Shield still wouldnt pay, after several calls and emails, including those from my mechanic, and emails to Director of Marketing and the President, they refunded my premium and canceled the contract

    If I could, I wouldn't give them any stars! The worst warranty you can buy! I lost $600 counting on CarShield to pay for repairs that were listed as covered, but instead they always found a reason not to cover them! I canceled my warranty and I wrote a letter to the Headquarters asking for all my money to be refunded because they lie about their coverage. I didn't get my money back neither a response on my letter!
