    I had carshield in 2020 got the max ******** plan, had no check engine light or any light on, I had ******* + on a clean carfax. 3-4 months in I had a rear main seal leak. I talked to 2 mechanics that were trusted and one told me he'd had 24 carshield customers over the years that had legitimate warrantied issues and 22 of them weren't honored. The 2 that were, were small issues. The other mechanic said in a very short tone they he doesn't waste his time with them. I asked them bout my rear main seal and immediately got shut down so I canceled and took my $500 loss... My new roommate said they got him also and all I see on TV is washed up actors swearing by carshield between 40 or so channels on multiple commercial breaks every day. It motivated me to write this review.

    Our records indicate you made 6 payments and were refunded 4 of those payments by check when you cancelled your contract in October 2020. CarShield has paid over 134 million dollars in claims in the last 12 months. We were not given the chance to approve your repairs. We are sorry to lose you as a CarShield customer. Customer Relations

    Good. It took a lot of weight off me. Got it done I heard they didn't have a good BBB rating and was thinking about canceling and then my car broke down. You guys did what you said you would do and I'm keeping it.

    Seems all the 5 star reviews are some non-specific variation of "I'm so happy, everything was great" as if quickly written by the same person. I had to haul CarShield into small claims court for a friend of mine after reviewing his issue ('14 ****** Corolla, transmission mechanical issue) and coverage. We won. I suggest others do the same. Don't fight with them. Spend the filing fee and take them to court.

    One star is very generous. I took my car to the local dealer, for AC repair. According to their policy a covered service. The service manager was on the phone with car shield for nearly 1 hour he was getting nowhere. He didn't have the time to haggle over Parts and Service they agreed are covered. In the end he gave me a 25% discount, car shield paid zero. My cost over $500. Second event my alternator went out a covered service and repair. My car was towed to another dealer, they don't use carshield anymore because they don't have time to sit on the phone for an hour or more to get approval. They recommended several other warranty companies. My cost over $500.

    I have had the worst experience with car shield. They have given me the run around with phone calls, follow-ups from them to my dealership. I was not given any reimbursement due to their faulty services. I have not been taken advantage of by this company. I asked for a refund on the most recent payment made within 2-3 days ago and was denied straight up, talking about they don't refund after 30 days of the contract start date, I was not asking from the time of start I was asking and referring to the most recent payment. They were not helpful with any types of refund and they are not efficient with giving an answer with if something will be covered or not. I am not happy with anything they have offered.

    What kind of garbage business practices are they operating behind. They make it sound like they are going to take care of an issue when it is reported. However, it took over two weeks from the time my claim was submitted for my transmission repair for their adjuster to come back to me and tell me I had abused my vehicle and I didn't have adequate maintenance records.I had clearly, in my mind, done the appropriate things to take care of my vehicle. I change the oil regularly and I make the appropriate repairs when required. I just happens I didnt provide them with all my receipts as I keep record of the maintenance in a mileage/fuel use log. It offended me for them to tell me I dont do things exactly as they would.Once my claim was denied (after talking to a very nasty lady on the phone) I respectfully, requested for them to take the time to refund my payments which total: $749.97 for the 3 payments I made beginning on Jun 16, 2022. For someone to tell me I "abused my vehicle" leads me to believe this company would do anything to get out of paying a bill for a repair.

    Great. It was really great. I really appreciate it. I think car shield is great and I'm glad I got it. It really takes care of you. My representative was really concerned about getting my vehicle up and running again. I got my car back in less than a week.
