    I signed up online and when I entered phone number I immediately received a call. I continued to apply by phone. I never got promised contract documents. I have received letters inviting me to sign up at $50 less than what I am paying showing different phone numbers and different customer ID's. Am I overpaying for a contract that does not exist? I do not believe that I am actually covered and today I have contracted another provider and will cancel Car Shield.

    THIS COMPANY ISNT WORTH THE MONEY, I GOT THE BEST PLAN THEY HAVE AND IT DIDN'T COVER A CRUTIAL REPAIR I WAS STUCK WITH PAYING THE **** DOWN, HONESTLY I WOULD HAVE BEEN OK IF THEY CUD AT LEAST PAY FOR THE **** DOWN MAYBE IF THEY DID THAT PEOPLE WOULDNT BE SO UPSET. I SPENT OVER ****+ PAYING THIS COMPANY WHEN I COULD HAVE PUT THAT IN SAVINGS FOR A REPAIR, WHILE WAITING ON A REPAIR MY HUSBAND LOST INCOME AND RENT WAS AROUND THE CORNER, NO *** ANDTHEM BOOM I WAS DENIED AND NOT TO MENTION I STILL HAVE TO PAY THE **** IM LOW ON MONEY THIS WAS THE WORST SITUATION TO BE IN. I HAD A POLICEY ON ANOTHER *** BEFORE THIS ONE AND SHOULD HAVE REALIZE THEN THEY WERE NO HELP. HOW CAN A COMPANY SPEND SO MUCH MONEY ON CELEBS THEN ACTUALLY GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS, THE WARRANTY ISNT WORTH THE ***** ITS PRINTED ON THEY COULD OF AT LEAST CREDIT ME BACK A LITTLE OF MY MONEY TO GET THE *** OUT THE ****. YOU LIVE AND YOU LEARN IF YOU DON'T HAVE A SAVINGS YOUR BETTER OFF GETTING A NEW *** THAN AN EXTENDED WARRANTY BUT IF YOU CAN SAVE THEN YOUR BETTER OFF PAYING FOR YOUR OWN REPAIRS. ****+ AND NO HELP NEVER WILL I DO BUISNESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!

    STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Carshield is a terrible company. The "Diamond" coverage they sell will actually cover very little, if anything short of a completely blown engine or transmission. I have had two costly repairs needed in the past several months, and they would not cover either repair as it fell into their fine print of "wear and tear", which they will not cover. My first repair was for a radiator issue, which stemmed from worn hoses. They said "hoses" were directly in the contract of things that are not covered because it's considered "wear and tear" and should be being check with my routine maintenance; the mechanic at the shop even tried to reason with Carshield saying those hoses are not considered "wear and tear" and are not routinely checked with regular maintenance visits, and should in fact be covered before there is a major system failure that would be even more costly. The next repair I had denied was for my air conditioner. The shop found a hole in one of the main hoses from the ** unit, and again Carshield said that was "wear and tear" and would not be covered. Again, the mechanic tried to state that those hoses are not considered routine maintenance or normal "wear and tear", but no no avail. I have finally had enough and decided to cancel my policy, as it seems that Carshield will cover nothing less than a completely blown engine or transmission, rending the car completely useless. I called to cancel, and adding insult to injury, I was informed they would NOT prorate the monthly payment I just made yesterday, and the customer ********************** rep was incredibly rude and short with me. All in all, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They will sell you on a product they will NOT deliver on, and use semantics and fine print to get out of paying any type of claim whatsoever. In addition, their customer ********************** is terrible. I was told different things about my policy by each different customer ********************** rep I spoke to. Don't waste your money or time.

    I have been waiting 3 days for carshield to pay the shop for replacing an alternator on my car. witch they approved job. every time I call them im told he is in line to be paid. I cant pick up my car until he is paid

    I purchased extended car warranty from CarShield. I paid for it with a one time payment through 2026. I had a battery which was leaking acid, which eventually needed replacement. The company denied my claim because they considered that normal wear and tear, which I don’t agree with. This week, I ran over a huge piece of tire rubber, which punctured my air conditioner’s condenser. My claim was denied because the company doesn’t repair repairs from accidents such as this. I have their best warranty, which purportedly covers everything. In my opinion, I’m confused about what’s covered. I’m going to warn the public to do their due diligence before purchasing a warranty. California doesn’t allow CarShield to operate in the state.

    Car Shield is the worse warranty company Ive ever had. On July 21st I called them and cancelled my policy because I had just sold the car. The automatic withdraw from my acct had just happened that day. I was informed that in 7-10 days I would get a full refund. No refund as of two weeks later. called company. Representative said I had been misinformed and I wouldnt be recieving a refund. This company isnt straight forward with their customers. The company is nothing but a con. DEFINATELY stay away from CAR SHIELD!!!!!

    Terrrrrrriible. This company will be exposed to the world. Lies lies and more lies. My repair cost was 1764.11 after a month they finally agreed to pay $674.00 . They told me originally my deductible would only b $100 but I end up paying 1017.11 This place isn't worth the money, time or stress. I finally got my car fixed 2 months later after all the back in fourth.

    I've had car shield for 4 years never had to use it until today August 3rd 2022 no one in my area would accept it, they said they don't pay there claims 6 shops declined servicing me ,so I called them to cancel they would not Cancel my contracts the only way I canceled was to tell them I sold my three cars which I didn't but that was the only way to cancel terrible company .I've wasted money on them for the last 4 years, *** * and ****** *** car shield is Full of **** STOP ENDORSING THEM.But you all are probably in it for the money just like they are. A class action law suit is forthcoming.

    The notes on your account state you spoke with a customer ********************** representative today who informed you ******************* would accept CarShield coverage.     Car Shield is not a reputable company to deal with. I have paid several thousand dollars of which they have never paid for any of my car repairs. Please search out other companies because you would be wasting money and time. Additionally, when I called to cancel my policy, they did not cancel until July 12th. I called and sent written correspondence of which they never replied. As a former teacher, Car Shield receives an " F" for customer service and integrity.

    Don't buy it! I purchase the Gold package for around $150 per month and it says it will pay up to 10 grand to fix my car per instance. My car's engine broke down in the second month. They asked the repair shop to tear down the engine to find out the cause. That's a big red flag. I wish I had read some reviews that mentioned this before my purchase. So I called the claim department and found preconditions are not covered! There is a long list of conditions that will not be covered. If you read that, you will not buy it. All old cars have preconditions. Otherwise why should I buy coverage? Besides many specific exclusions, the "General Exclusions" listed 32 conditions! For example, No. 17 says: "BREAKDOWNS resulting from engine sludge, carbon, pre-ignition, detonation, varnish, corrosion, foreign objects, dirt, dust, liquid, cracked rubber and/or neoprene parts, dry-rot, road chemicals, lack of proper fluids or use of additives or fuel grades not recommended by the manufacturer." So please read the contract carefully before you buy it. I am glad I only wasted under $300 for my lesson. Hope you benefit from my lesson as well! ***** **
