    ! I paid monthly and took my Buick to the Buick dealer and had a electronic part problem. No stars is what they should have provided. They don’t cover that electronic part - aren’t we in 2022? I would not recommend this company to anyone. I tried to cancel - the guy kept talking over and over - we can still cover you - **** no! New cars have electronics parts and he said my part was not covered. Mr would not let me cancel and kept me on the line - kept saying we can still cover you over and over again. You have a great policy. Not when I have paid 3 years without a claim and then you tell me I am not covered. I literally had to tell him to stop. Then he kept me on hold. Shame on Car Shield! Not a pleasant experience at all. What cars today don’t have an electronic part? The whole damn things are electronic. This is 2022 not 2005 ! I can’t afford to waste my money ! I wasted my money with Car Shield

    I opted for Car Shields gold coverage, their supposed top coverage. I took my car to a local shop for an oil leak and found that the rear main seal is leaking which requires removal of the transmission to replace the seals. Our shop contacted Car Shield and found out that ******** **** ****** out of Colorado are the company that handles claims. They informed the shop they don’t cover seals and would not cover any of the $2400 labor cost. Before contacting this company I decided to look into their business practices in Colorado. They have over 1500 complaints and a F rating from the BBB for deceptive sales practices. Wish I would have known I would be dealing with a different company when I signed up for this scam of a company. I canceled the policy immediately. I’m out over a thousand dollars to these scammers and am stuck with the repair of the car myself. Lesson learned, don’t fall for Car Shields deceptive sales tactics because when you need them, they probably won’t be there. Anyone considering their coverage, look up ******** **** ****** in Colorado and read the horror stories from there. This is the company you will be dealing with. Car Shield fails to tell you this when you sign on with them. If I could give a 0 star, that’s what I would rate this company at. Consumer beware.

    I canceled my contract on 7/11/2022. I was billed on 7/19/2022. They took the money from my bank account debit card. I called them and they refunded it back to another card which is a credit card. It was the card I put my down payment on. They didn't tell me that's where the refund was going. Now I'm out of $160 (cash) I don't need the money on my credit card. They said it's policy to use the original form of payment. That's not where they took this money from! I wasn't even supposed to be charged in the first place I had canceled. They'll never get my business again.

    The policy should be to not charge anyone after they've cancelled their policy. Then you took it out of one card and put it back on another. I understand your policy but it's a ill advised policy. I should've been refunded from the card the money was taken from. Better yet neither cards should've been accessed because I canceled my warranty !

    They have stipulations and restraints on every aspect of a repair.Had my car towed to a dealership for repairs. CarShield disagreed with every aspect of the estimate including diagnostic testing, labor and parts. They wanted to send a cheap part which the repair shop said would not work. They disagreed with the repair shop diagnostics time the required labor time and the repair parts needed. I had to pay extra for the tow and there were stipulations on renting a car. There was a major difference in what they would pay and what the repairs would actually cost. I definitely would not recommend their service to anyone.

    My communication with the service indicated no such thing. They stated your estimates were too low and would not cover costs.

    I bought Car shield and when I was talking to the guy he said I would have a $100 deductible if I had any issues with my vehicle. Later the next year my timing belt broke so I called to have my vehicle towed because its included with Car Shield well I had to pay $160.00 for the tow the guy that owned the mechanic shop told me he has never worked with a warranty company as hard as it was Car Shield. I was without my vehicle for almost a month because they was making him do crazy stuff breaking down parts to try and prove it was already damaged. Anyway after it was finally ready they only paid half the bill, don't fall for their lies its a money scam I could have not had Car Shield and all the money I paid in monthly bills and came out cheaper they told me I was getting the best coverage yeah ********.

    They will not stop calling I block all the numbers and I try to call them back from another number it states this number cannot be reached. I am getting mail as well all the time

    My car has been out of commission since May 30, 2022. Carshield has held my car hostage from May 31 to July 21, 2022 before finally giving authorization for repair. Instead of replacing the transmission, they replaced a part. Car was finally driven off the lot. It made it home and died. Contacted Carshield and their response was to take it back to the repair facility. I have been waiting for my car over 8 weeks and now they want me to return my car back to the people who didn't fix it. They said I can take it to another repair facility but their process basically would start over again. I asked them if they were going to replace the transmission and the representative stated that they requested some more codes from the repair facility. I mentioned to them that during this entire process not once have they got me access to a rental car. I have spent so much money utilizing Uber, Lyft, and bothering people by asking for a ride to and from work. I explained that I was frustrated and ****** cause I felt like I was getting the run around. In there commercial their portrayal was totally different. Road side assistance, rental car and transmission fixed. I have been a customer of theirs for over a year and I pay monthly. During my waiting period they received their monthly payment. The end of this story is that I had to have my car towed to a different repair facility and yes, have to still pay for the transmission. I feel that Carshield misrepresent themselves and had no intention of replacing or rebuilding my transmission or ever authorizing a rental. They don't care about their customers or the inconvenience they leave them hanging in limbo. Will my car be fixed today? Am I getting my car today? Will they finally authorize a car today? Answer: No! Because of my frustrations, I finally cancelled Carshield. They collected over one thousand and their is no refund or return over the money collected. My advice, just open up an account for car expenses. *****************************.

    Extremely good. It was my first time using you. I got myself covered and talked my 2 boys into getting the coverage too. My ***** was out of coverage and I got you guys. I was extremely pleased in how much you covered. I'm as ecstatic as the people in the commercials. I am a true believer now. I took my chances in your company. Your company has been around the longest and I'm glad I chose Carshield.

    I have had Carshield since 2018. I let the policy lapse in 2022. When my transmission went out, it took them over two weeks to get a response from them only to have them tell me that they didn't cover it. I had to pay for the tow and the diagnostic. I paid over $4000 into those people. They said they didn't cover the electrical part. They advertise that they cover everything, including electrical. I couldn't afford the repair so I had to get rid of the car.
